I can live with the show landing on a streaming service. It's much easier for a non-subscriber like me to avoid them. Now that ubiquitous migraine medicine ad with Khloe as a pitch woman.....make it stop!!!!!

In fairness, I'm not sure I would want the lingering fish stench in my car or home but that said....I'm also not sure I will ever look at sushi the same way again either.

I second the hope that everyone stays healthy and that if any illness does occur, it's a mild case. Direct report is still sick, but said (voluntarily and unsolicited) that he has tested negative to this point. Hopefully that remains the case going forward for him and his family.

If he has to have something contagious, dixiedoodah, I suppose mono is a pretty good place to land. One of my direct reports has been out every day this week with various ailments ranging from fatigue to nausea. I don't know if he's been tested (and really can't ask) but I'm fully expecting the COVID shoe to drop at any time. i

That's the confusing part that's just not adding up for me. If Harry and Meghan don't have a contractual claim to the property, then it's really not theirs to give away, sublet, etc.
-
Something's not adding up here. The People article states that "This contribution as originally offered by Prince Harry has fully covered the necessary renovation costs of Frogmore Cottage, a property of Her Majesty The Queen, and will remain the U.K. residence of the Duke and his family.β The Sun article states that " In September, it was revealed they had used private funds to pay back the cost of repairs and rent βfor a number of yearsβ. " Granted, these are both tabloids but neither statement in any way implies that Harry and Meghan own the property. I wonder if Queen Elizabeth is holding all of the cards and calling all of the shots but the "facts" are being spun differently in the press for whatever reason.

I share your moral dilemma, Hoya, but since my mother is always disappointed in me for something anyway I will be happy to do an extra jig on your behalf.... ππππΊπΊπΊ

I caught Ken Jennings "hosting" an entire category yesterday via videos and TBH I really wasn't feeling it. Then again, I'm still not feeling Drew Carey as host of The Price is Right after all these years so I may not be the best judge either.

It would be a fitting tribute to retire Jeopardy completely in Alex's honor. Unfortunately, that will never happen.
-
Exactly! Now, if she's dumping it because she and Portia are on the verge of announcing a split then there just might be something to see here....
-
True. However, Chrissy Teigan hasn't got that message yet. :)

I kind of like the fact that nobody even knew about the latest round of celebrity pregnancies until the babies were already here. Further proof that privacy is indeed possible for those who want it.

Well, at least Netflix has a good chunk of their change tied up on Harry and Meghan..... ;) I can sadly see a network like WE picking them up since the Mama June/Honey Boo Boo train is pretty close to derailed at this point. And yes, I know way too much about "reality" shows that I have proudly never watched.

2021 may be end of the show in its current iteration, but I am not convinced that it will be the end of the Kardashians. They're human salamanders - slimy creatures with the ability to regenerate..
-
And sadly, they will somehow still get a ration of $hit for doing this in some quarters.

Thanks for sharing that link, dixiedoodah. I would go a step further and argue that whether the article is true or not is irrelevant - it's a bad look regardless. It seems like any Invictus conflict could have been avoided if they had simply waited a few months to begin negotiations with Netflix. They haven't even formed a production company yet so what's the rush to finalize the deal now? It's not like they have content that is ready for immediate release pending resolution of the financial details. I honestly don't know how I feel about this. Meghan and Harry have got zero breaks in the court of public opinion but they often can't seem to get out of their own way on this front either.

Explain Lindsay Lohan..... BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Preach!!!!! I'm finding very little motivation to even wear one on the rare times I do venture out. My face is over 50% covered and I am growing out my hair, so it's not like anyone will recognize me from 6 feet away. On topic - if that particular ring makes her happy and it's not stolen property, then that's good enough for me. The size, shape, and who actually paid for it are all none of my business.

There is also nothing inherently shady about Meghan preparing her 2019 U.S. return with an MFS filing status. It's pretty rare for a married person's liability to be less as a single filer than as a joint filer, but her particular tax position may have been one of those cases. The IRS actually encourages married folks to figure their tax both ways (on a joint return and on separate returns) to ensure using the filing status that results in the lowest combined tax. The IRS also says that once you file a joint return, you can't choose to file separate returns for that year after the due date of the return - which would seem to discourage changing lanes on a regular basis. I'm also pretty sure that Meghan is relying on someone a whole lot more versed in IRS publications and pronouncements than I am for tax advice so take all that for what it's worth.

I am glad that they were able to recover Naya's body so that her family and loved ones can have some kind of closure.
-
But that's the maddening part - it's an uncomfortable situation that is 100% their own creation. The media charade has been going on for so long that everyone but Jada and Will moved on from this long ago. Open, closed, gay, straight, asexual - I honestly could not care less about what goes on in a relationship between two consenting adults.

Hopefully the real life spouses also exude more chemistry than the blow up dolls they dusted off from the storage bins.

Or a commemorative tattoo. :)

Yeah, that part confused me too.

Eh. it's Fakey. There's a good possibility that Charles is not suffering from dementia at all. I really have no feelings about Charles one way or the other, but it really doesn't bother me if he is being downplayed in favor of William. The BRF may not want to put all of their eggs in the basket of a 71 year old with a positive COVID-19 diagnosis in These Trying Times.
