    Election Year 2016

I am exhausted by this. Just exhausted. Can we just make it stop? Can he just go live in exile with his buddy Kanye on the ranch and let us all live in peace.

    Election Year 2016

Every day I think he can’t possibly be any more nuts and every day I am proven wrong. He must know exactly what they have on him and how badly screwed he is when he leaves town. I cannot wait for him to be gone. I am tired of his super spreader events raising the Covid numbers in town and impacting my life. I am tired of the stupid people he’s brought to town with him. I am tired of the idiots on my neighborhood Facebook page fighting to defend him. I am tired of not being able to call my dad without a horrible sense of dread about how the call is going to go and will this be the day that we no longer speak to each other Because he has been brainwashed by a cult. I am tired of him being here. I am ready to move on.

I honestly didn’t remember that Pippa (my phone keeps autocorrecting her name to poops) had one child let alone a second. Has she dropped off the radar or have I neglected gossip during Covid? She’s just so unremarkably boring.

    Indiana Jones

I’m pretty sure that with the abuse+ lawsuit out there, we won’t be seeing Shia for a while. I know Hollywood loves to rehabilitate a crappy dude, but I feel like he’s generally unlikeable and this gives people an easy excuse to cut him out.

    Coronavirus

My son officially fails Pandemic 101. I think I mentioned he had Covid at school a few months ago. he’s a college athlete so we actually had a checkup with a cardiologist today. So far so good. Well, today, I got a call from his doctor that the Mono test we had him take came back positive! He’s only been home just over a week and started showing signs on Friday, so he was probably sick before he left school. But still... if there is a contagion about, apparently my kid is going to get it. 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

A very very cynical part of me feels like this is chasing the spotlight. Having watched the immense amount of press John and Chrissy got about this and the amount of goodwill it generated towards them (to be fair there was some backlash) that cynical part says she knows they need some image rehab right about now. Like, I think the sentiment is real but just jumping on the train at the right moment... I’m probably just a horrible person

    Live Concerts Post-COVID

I mean, the economy will not fully rebound for large crowd type venues until people feel safe. Enough people to sustain more than one off events as a statement maker. I doubt this will be the only similar plan. I sense lawsuits to follow, but they have to try to find a way to recover confidence.

I think they are playing hardball with him during the “probation” so he truly knows what he’s giving up. I think Covid made it easier to be brutal.

    Election Year 2016

Honestly, I bet there are a lot of people who denied being anonymous who right now wish they had been. It’s probably the only way they would’ve had a chance of salvaging their reputation. There are after all, only so many spots opening up on Fox news in any given cycle.

I feel like, for posterity’s sake, we should mention the Rudy Giuliani/Borat hotel room story. But I really don’t want to think about it. So how about we just agree to agree it happened and never mention it again!

She’s still doing all of her shows, right? I haven’t seen her lose a lot of contracted opportunities. I’m far more on board with impending divorce. She still has 92M Instagram followers even after a purge.

Belgium not Britain, but what a heck of a story. Good plot for a trashy novel! https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/oct/01/delphine-boel-belgian-kings-daughter-wins-right-to-call-herself-princess Delphine Boël: Belgian king's daughter wins right to call herself princess Artist whose mother had affair with former king Albert II wins the right to use royal title and father’s surname Daniel Boffey Thu 1 Oct 2020 15.21 EDT Last modified on Thu 1 Oct 2020 15.38 EDT An artist who successfully fought a seven-year legal battle to prove she was the daughter of the former king of Belgium, Albert II, has won the right to be recognised as a princess. The Brussels Court of Appeal has ruled that Delphine Boël, 52, had the right to her Royal father’s surname after a bitter battle for acknowledgement. Boël will be called Delphine of Saxen-Coburg-Gotha, princess of Belgium, her lawyer told the Belgian newspaper Het Nieuwsblad. Her two children, Joséphine and Oscar, will also be recognised as a prince and princess of Belgium. In a statement, Boël’s lawyers said their client was pleased that she would be treated the same as Albert’s three other children, including the current king, Philippe. They added: “She is delighted with this court decision which ends a long process which is particularly painful for her and her family. A legal victory will never replace the love of a father but offers a feeling of justice, further reinforced by the fact that many children who have gone through the same ordeals will find the strength to face them.” Albert, 86, who abdicated in 2013 partly because of legal battles over the paternity claims made by Boël, was forced to acknowledge she was his daughter in January after a court ordered a DNA test. Boël was the result of an extra-marital affair between Albert and Baroness Sybille de Selys Longchamps. Boël had spent time with Albert as a child, nicknaming him “Papillon” (Butterfly), but she had vainly sought acknowledgement for more than 20 years. She launched a legal battle to prove paternity in June 2013, after the elder of her two children, Joséphine, was admitted to hospital with pneumonia, and she felt the absence of her biological father. Boël’s claim received a vital boost last autumn when the court of appeal ruled that Jacques Boël, with whom she grew up, was not her biological father and instructed an expert to carry out a test to compare her DNA with Albert’s. The king agreed to provide a saliva sample – which proved his paternity – after the courts threatened to fine him €5,000 (£4,370) for every day he refused. On the day Albert stepped down from the throne seven years ago, citing ill-health, Boël’s mother, Baroness Sybille de Selys Longchamps, gave a TV interview where she spoke publicly for the first time about her affair with the king. “I thought I could not have children because I had had an infection,” she said of the relationship, which is said to have lasted from 1966 to 1984. “We had not taken any precautions.” She continued: “It was a beautiful period. Delphine was a love child. Albert was not the father figure but he was very sweet to her.”
