My understanding of what it means to be on probation is that you can't even get caught jaywalking without being in a buttload of trouble. The February 25th hearing should be interesting.

I have become super jaded after watching her walk over and over and over again. Even the "harshest" punishment wasn't very harsh. I'll believe it when I see it - money really can buy everything.

After mulling over motherhood for a couple of years, the 40-year-old Chicago star and her longtime girlfriend and personal trainer Jeanette Jenkins have finally decided to raise a little one, say friends.

"Queen and Jeanette are incredibly happy with each other, and they want to start a family," a close pal told The ENQUIRER.

"A baby is their No. 1 priority, and they're considering all their options."

Latifah hasn't ruled out getting pregnant, but since she does have some major work commitments coming up, they're also considering having Jeanette carry the child, said the source.

"Surrogacy and adoption are two other possibilities.

"Neither one of them is hung up on where the baby comes from. They know they're going to fall head over heels in love with their child however the baby comes to them. They both feel children are a blessing."

The actress/rapper, who recently hosted the People's Choice Awards, fought through a myriad of personal problems before finding happiness with Jeanette.

She spiraled into a major depression after her brother Lance died in a 1992 motorcycle crash, and she later struggled with alcohol and drugs.

"As much as she loves kids, there was a time when Queen thought she'd never get to be called 'Mommy,'" said the source.

Breaking: Charlie Sheen Enters Rehab, Two and a Half Men Goes on Hiatus

Following an alleged three-day bender and its resulting hospitalization, Charlie Sheen is finally seeking the help those close to him so desperately hoped for.

“Charlie Sheen has voluntarily entered an undisclosed rehabilitation center today,” Sheen’s publicist Stan Rosenfield said in a statement Friday. “He is most grateful to all who have expressed their concern.”

Of course, Sheen’s impending treatment will impact production on his CBS series, Two and a Half Men…

But the team behind the hit comedy is rallying around the troubled star, making their support known in a joint statement Friday:

“Due to Charlie Sheen’s decision to enter a rehabilitation center, CBS, Warner Bros. Television and executive producer Chuck Lorre are placing Two and a Half Men on production hiatus. We are profoundly concerned for his health and well-being, and support his decision”

Sheen’s decision to enter rehab is a far cry from the statement his rep released earlier, confirming the actor’s plans to return to work on Men Tuesday. But, as Deadline reported in early January, it’s a welcome surprise given the studios’ growing concern over Sheen’s well being.

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban Welcome a Daughter!

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban revealed Monday that they are the parents of a baby girl.

Faith Margaret Kidman Urban arrived Dec. 28 at The Women's Hospital at Centennial in Nashville. Faith was born through a gestational carrier and is the biological daughter of Kidman and Urban.

"Our family is truly blessed, and just so thankful, to have been given the gift of baby Faith Margaret," the family says in a statement. "No words can adequately convey the incredible gratitude that we feel for everyone who was so supportive throughout this process, in particular our gestational carrier."

Kidman and Urban, both 43, had kept the birth a secret, saying nothing about being new parents when they attended the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday night.

Married in 2006, Kidman gave birth to daughter Sunday Rose in July 2008. Kidman and her ex-husband Tom Cruise also adopted two children during their marriage, Isabella and Connor.

But what dumb ass thought a three week waiting period was good PR?

The National Enquirer is reporting that former presidential candidate John Edwards and one-time mistress Rielle Hunter are now engaged. The magazine's cover story claims Edwards proposed to the mother of his youngest child merely three weeks after his wife's death.

The Enquirer did break the story of Edwards' affair, and the magazine also correctly reported that he was the father of Hunter's child. But there's reason to be skeptical of this engagement report. The tabloid reported back in February of 2010 that Edwards had proposed to Hunter. A spokeswoman at the time said the story was "absolutely untrue."

Elizabeth Edwards died of breast cancer on Dec. 7, 2010. In her will, she left everything to her children and did not mention her estranged husband.

Well, the (allegedly) newly engaged John Edwards is an early favorite for 2011.

It's a boy and a girl!

Neil Patrick Harris and partner David Burtka are officially fathers. The actors welcomed twins Gideon Scott and Harper Grace on Oct. 12, the How I Met Your Mother star announced on Twitter Friday.

"All of us are happy, healthy, tired, and a little pukey," he wrote.

Harris, 37, announced that he and Burtka, 35, were becoming parents in August. "We're super excited/nervous/thrilled. Hoping the press can respect our privacy," he wrote on Twitter at the time.

According to reports, the babies were born with the help of a surrogate.

At the Emmy Awards that month, Harris said he was getting excited about his new role – and doing research. "I'm trying to read as much as I can, and prep as much as I can," he said at the time. "But there's only so much you can do because each baby is super individual and totally their own person."

This came totally out of the blue to me.

Alyson Hannigan Is So Excited Neil Patrick Harris Is a New Dad

New dad Neil Patrick Harris has an outgoing and loving personality – and will be a wonderful father, says his How I Met Your Mother costar Alyson Hannigan.

"He's definitely a kid at heart and I think that really helps," she tells PEOPLE. "He can get into the kids' energy easily. He's fantastic with my daughter, and she just loves him."

Hannigan, 36, who has a 19-month-old daughter, Satyana, with her husband Alexis Denisof, says her costar and his partner David Burtka will be "fantastic fathers" to their twins, Gideon Scott and Harper Grace, and thinks Harris's creativity will go a long way.

"He has this phenomenal song that he has made up and it makes my daughter laugh every time he does it," she says, laughing. "It sticks in my head for days. It's so brilliant, and it's the perfect baby song. He's definitely going to be so creative and fun."


Like some new parents, Harris and Burtka sought out parenting advice and made a visit to Hannigan's home with a list of baby-related questions.

"I don't think they needed any of our advice but we peppered them with all the information that my husband and I have," Hannigan says. "We gave them a list of our favorite products and talked about [how] the first six weeks in is kind of the hardest. [Just] trying to figure out what each cry means or what is the best schedule for the baby is hard."

But with all the feedings and the diaper changing, Hannigan says Harris and Burtka will experience a new kind of love. 
 


"Without a doubt they will be wonderful dads who are going to love their little babies so much," she says. "Those are going to be two lucky babies."

"I can't wait to share the feeling that your heart has exploded into something bigger than you ever thought it would be," Hannigan says. "It's so overwhelming in the very best possible way. I'm excited for their journey."

Clearly, she still thinks she is not subject to the law.

After David Arquette began his "trial separation" from Courteney Cox a few months ago -- dude got reeeally close with a pretty hot new girl ... a girl who has plenty of experience with celebrity men.

All day long I have been trying to tell my husband that I read his obituary earlier in the week. That there was even a quote from his actress daughter about how they finally grew closer when she was older. I was POSITIVE I was right. It wasn't until just now when I read this thread that I realized the mistake I made. And apparently I am not the only one with this issue!

Lindsay Lohan -- In Custody, No Bail

Lindsay Lohan is in custody ... after Judge Elden Fox shockingly denied her bail ... and Lindsay could be sitting there until October 22.

Lindsay was in court because she failed two drug tests -- in one she tested positive for cocaine and the other for Adderall.

Judge Fox did not hear any argument from the lawyers before making his ruling.

Lindsay was handcuffed in court before being taken into custody.

It's shocking because the underlying offense is a misdemeanor, and people connected with the case were telling us the judge had to offer Lindsay bail.

As for Lindsay's reaction ... she was shocked when the judge remanded her into custody. Lindsay looked at her lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holly, before being taken out of the courtroom.

And now I think we know how she got let out of treatment early. No money to pay.

Is Dina ever going to quit telling the press that the girl has no drug problem?
