The “Saturday Night Live” alums will celebrate their thirty years of friendship on this tour by sharing jokes, iconic stories and conversational entertainment, according to a press release. “If this tour goes right, we can finally end this friendship,” the comedic icons and real-life best friends joked. While the tour marks the first time Poehler and Fey will bring a show to live audiences, this won’t be the first time the duo have appeared on stage together. Poehler and Fey have previously hosted the Golden Globe Awards four times since 2013, giving us a taste of the hilarity that might ensue this spring. In a new interview with The Wall Street Journal, hotelier André Balazs, 63, said he is preparing to convert the Chateau Marmont into an exclusive, members-only property in a move that would break away from its traditional hotel structure. Balazs explained that, while he's been mulling over the new concept, the strain on the hospitality industry brought on by the ongoing novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic made him expedite the process. Under the new framework, guests could buy ownership stakes at the property when becoming members. “There is something to be said for knowing people. You can chat with them; you know where they have been,” Balazs told the outlet of the intended appeal of membership, offering peace of mind to those weary of shacking up near strangers in an outbreak. The operator said he plans to transition Chateau Marmont into the private hotel format by the end of the year, according to WSJ. The 63-room French-inspired castle, which has seen numerous infamous events over the years, is tucked into the edge of the Hollywood Hills and has been in businesses since 1929. “We have always screened our guests,” Balazs said of the exclusivity of its patrons. “Guests are never more than one degree of separation away.” A spokesperson for Chateau Marmont told the Los Angeles Times that members will pay fees that will get them a private dining area, a personal butler and the ability to come and go during lengthy stays. “Members will be able to sell their shares back to the management company or other approved members, as they would with any other real estate investment,” said the spokesperson. Our sources say her manager rented a house in the L.A. area for several months and the plan was to take an unsuspecting Britney to the house, where her husband Sam Asghari, her manager, an interventionist and doctors would be present, in an attempt to convince her she needed help. We're told Jamie Spears, Lynne Spears and Britney's 2 sons were not involved. The plan was for the intervention to go down Tuesday. We're told the plan was for Britney to live in the rented house for as long as 2 months while she received both medical treatment and psychological counseling. That plan changed Tuesday ... we're told Britney became "somewhat aware" of the plan and for some reason it all changed and the intervention idea was scrapped. We asked multiple people connected to Britney and Sam why the plug would be pulled given her condition -- we got no answers. Our sources say Britney agreed to meet with a doctor -- we don't know if it's a physician or a therapist. We're told Britney met with the doctor Wednesday late afternoon and it "went well." TMZ broke the story, Britney was spotted at a restaurant near her home last month where witnesses tell us she was acting "manic." In video, obtained by TMZ, Britney can be heard rambling incoherently. As you know, Britney was placed in a conservatorship for 13 years after being involuntarily committed twice. The conservatorship ended in November 2021 ... in no small part because of the #FreeBritney movement. The judge did not order a medical evaluation before ending the conservatorship ... despite the fact doctors regularly weighed in before the court over the 13 years.

I remember the Queen always wore an entire outfit of the same color so that she was easier to spot in a crowd for security purposes. I've noticed other members often do the same, but wasn't sure if that was intentional. I actually came here to post about Harry and his talks to host Saturday Night Live. "He is ready to branch out and have a more socialized experience," Streisand says, adding that the boy and his grandmother made the decision together. Will sister Paris, 12, join him? That remains to be seen. But in a new interview in Britain's Daily Mail, Katherine Jackson suggests they all would go to school, including Blanket, 8. "I'd say I'm a little less strict, but I've tried to follow the way Michael was raising them," she is quoted as saying.
