    Celeb Death Watch

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO . . . . . . . I am so saddened about Philip Seymour Hoffman! Because he had dealt with these issues in the past, I was sorry to hear that he needed to return to rehab again but then thought - well, good, he's dealing with it head on! Dang dang dang! This man never failed to impress me in any role he took on. He is truly a great loss. My heart goes out to his family and friends.

    Celeb Death Watch

I am incredibly sad to hear about the death of Paul Walker. My heart goes out to his loved ones and friends. He was only 40 and it was so unnecessary. Just a sad and tragic way to go!

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Engagement

Has her face moved at all since she gave birth? Is it just me or is her face literally frozen now?

    Charlie Sheen

Why is it even Denise's responsibility? Aren't they Charlie's responsibility? Is this guy ever going to grow up?!

    65th Primetime Emmy Awards

I saw bits of Veep when it first started and wasn't that impressed. Then I watched a marathon this past week and absolutely loved it! I'm watching Behind the Candalabra yet again because I can't believe how great both Damon and Douglas are in it. It's too bad they couldn't both win. I didn't see much of the Emmy's tonight but I did catch Bob Newhart and the standing ovation the audience gave him. Boy he deserved it!! I also caught the choreography segment and it was great!

    Miley Cyrus

She is reminding me more of a high school teen right now then a grown up. I get the need to leave the Disney identity behind but this kind of performance gets boring real fast.

Lee Thompson Young ~ The latest news makes it sound like he's struggled with depression for awhile now. Depression can be a beast. RIP, Lee, and may you have a lighter heart in your next life. Elmore Leonard ~ He wrote so many great books and he had a good long life. RIP, Mr. Leonard, and thank you for the hours of entertainment you provided us.

Lindsay Lohan still broke and a mess

I just want to say that as much as she has screwed up in the last few years, I really do hope she takes as much time as needed this go around to make this recovery permanent. On Chelsea, we got a glimpse of a mature version of her younger happier self and I really do hope for her that she succeeds.

Lindsay Lohan still broke and a mess

I saw her co-hosting Chelsea Lately tonight and thought she did a great job. She genuinely looked healthy and appeared happy. It was great to see. Now if she can just maintain it.

    Tom Cruise

LOL! She did some of the worst songs ever and yet I admit that I still sing loudly right along with them whenever they come on the radio. Why? I don't know . . . . it just happens. :4biggrin:

He's wasn't just talented - He also had this air of being gracious and kind. My heart goes out to his son and to the rest of his family.

My respect for Selma just tripled!

    Brad and Angelina

Isn't World War Z about to come out? More convenient timing, eh?

    Brad and Angelina

If being cynical about Jolie's motives sends one to hell ~ make room for one more in the basket please! I'm not questioning having the procedure done. I'm questioning the way she is going about using it as a PR move. Jolie has shown that everything she does is about PR. And I don't want to hear that she has raised awareness about this as if people haven't already known about. Christina Applegate came out about it years ago. Some how some way, Jolie is getting something out of this or she wouldn't go public with it. When she has her ovaries removed and has to deal with the havoc the change in hormones causes to her body, then just maybe I might give in a little.

    Miley Cyrus

Wow, do you know any actual lesbians? Because those I know have hairstyles as varied as, um, all women Totally agree with you Hoya, my first thought when I saw the hairstyle -- she was throwing over country for punk and trying to be hip. Silly me. :4biggrin: Yep - Punk / Grunge / anything besides country - that's what I assumed she was aiming for. As for her engagement, they're both so young! I was much more shocked at the initial engagement then I am at the break up. I had assumed the original engagement was more to pacify the parents of her younger fans (and possibly Disney) because of her cohabitation. At first I wasn't sure about her haircut but now I think it really suits her.

    Reese Witherspoon

Her husband was in a "scary situation"? How about the other drivers who were put in a dangerous situation just being on the same road as her drunk husband not to mention any pedestrians in the vicinity? I like Reese but bad choice of words. On a side note, how good looking is this guy compared the boy-child she used to be married to?!

    Who Will Come Out Next?

I use to admire her for the fact that she kept her family fairly private. Then last night, as she went on about privacy, they kept showing her kids thereby eliminating any privacy they might have from here on out. How does that make sense? About all she did last night was remind me of why I can't stand her interviews.

    The Kardashians

Funny how the brain works . . . . Ever since it became obvious that Kim's pimp/manager/mom wants her to be with someone whose name also begins with a "K", I then realized they will name whatever baby happens with a "K" as well. They will then be the "KKK" and for the life of me, I do NOT understand why anyone would want that! Do these people even think?

    Drew Barrymore

Boy am I tired today. I read "Olive" and thought of Popeye.

    Celeb Death Watch

Ron Palillo, who played Horshack on the hit 1970s sitcom "Welcome Back, Kotter," died Tuesday morning at his home from an apparent heart attack, his rep confirms to FoxNews.com. TMZ reports that Palillo was found by his partner of many years, Joseph Gramm, around 4:00 am. Gramm called an ambulance, and Palillo was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead, TMZ reports. Palillo was 63. I loved this show way when. I hope he was happy throughout his life. RIP Horshack.

    Project Runway Season 10

I'm really liking the designs so far this season. I loved the episode tonight where they had to dress a previous Runway contestant for the Emmys. The winning dress may not have been long but it was perfect for the client.

    Kristen Stewart

I saw her in an early film and ever since then, no matter what role I see her in, she's exactly the same. I don't get what Hollywood sees in this young woman and I don't think I ever will.

    The Celeb Price of Fame

I just don't get it. I realize I'm a straight female but I just have a hard time imagining any guy being that loop-de-loop for this girl. It's such obvious PR for their movie releasing in November that I hope most media will begin to IGNORE them and this stunt quickly. Edited to add that they say Rob has moved out of the house they share today. I thought it was HIS house that they shared so why did he move out?! And last but not least, why isn't the married man getting the same kind of slack that she is? I think the press should hunt him down and demand that he make a public apology!
