The ladies on Fashionista were talking about another dual namer but I can't remember now..... http://fashionista.com/2010/12/lauren-laur...pening-we-hope/ Here we go: Griffith J Griffith ??
-
She could go with Lauren Lifshitz, right? ;-) Though "Lauren B Lauren" or "Lauren Bush Lauren" isn't so bad.....

Why the race to divorce before the end of 2010? Is it taxes - want to get it off the books before 2011??
-
So any of our blind items be these two ?? I think their blinds pre-date their relationship - at least Ted's blinds on them.
-
Now that shocks me! Why would they get married - they hardly ever do anything for publicity together......So I assumed it was a "real" relationship. Guess it's just a Hollywood relationship - on to the next best thing.....(god I'm cynical)

Does anyone read historicals?

Isn't that the "well DUH" thread? :4biggrin: -
As Lainey pointed out yesterday in her column - Handler has always made fun of Jolie. BUT she also used to make fun of Aniston - now it's one-sided, and therefore- not quite as funny.... Actually, Lainey's whole rant on this is pretty funny and I happen to think she's spot on: http://www.laineygossip.com/Chelsea_Handle...D=0&CelID=0

Exceedingly difficult! They all annoy me and I think they're all douchebags, but some are easier for me to ignore, so I had to rank that way ;-) -
I know my immigrant Irish & German ancestors were thankful as HELL to immigrate to the United States in the 19th century and raise their families here. And Thanksgiving is typically about family getting together and what we're thankful for. So screw Brangelina and her "multicultural" breed who will apparently grow up without fun traditions. Enjoy your winter in Budapest.....

Dang it, that's a work day! Might have to work from home??

Sorry to hear about the cheating, but I think that divorce was a much better option than murder! ;-)

Last year (I think) there was a big CNN poll that says 85-90% of professional athletes cheat. So if you marry one, I have to think you just want the money, the publicity, the lifestyle. 'Cause you're damn sure not thinking it's going to be an exclusive "love match" until you die..... (never have I been so happy to be normal and expect my husband to, you know, NOT CHEAT ON ME. Off-topic --we were watching some news coverage of the Survivor producer accused of murdering his wife in MExico, allegedly he's been having an affair - I looked at my husband and said, "You know, if you're going to cheat on me, you can just divorce me - no need to murder me or anything" )

I had never heard the original song, so I looked it up yesterday on YouTube. And it has been stuck in my head EVER SINCE. Great. Even my ear bugs curse like sailors :4biggrin: I still dislike her. But I do approve that she actually goes out and PROMOTES her films. She could (continue to) be a snotty above-it-all actress. But she apparently has been calling country DJs, going on the radio to promote the song & movie. She did Glee. I imagine she'll be doing all the talk shows. Yes, it's part of her job, but still - some actors do it willingly and graciously, and others are complete assholes about it (Russell Crowe, I mean you ) So I'm balancing a fine line between disliking her, and hating myself for being happy she actually DOES HER JOB, and liking her for doing her job. I'm fairly conflicted, as you can see

William has been balding for YEARS. Not sure why people are commenting on it like it just started yesterday. Quite honestly, it doesn't bother me at all (my husband has been shaving his head for years because of his relatively early start on hair loss - I happen to think he looks great but I admit I'm biased) Yes, I think Harry is hot. But I've always had a soft spot in my heart for William, and that hasn't changed :-) If William wants the reminder of his mother, and Kate wants to wear the ring - I think that's great. It's their marriage, after all. I assume after 8 years of dating, they're pretty comfortable with each other & know what compromises they'll make, etc.

One of Lainey's guest writers does a Glee update every week and made a comment I liked - that she finally could name specifically what it is about Gwyneth's voice she doesn't like. Everyone has a certain tone/style in their voice - she said Lea Michele is just made to sing Broadway. And Gwyneth think she should be this sultry, smoky, jazzy/bluesy singer, and tries REALLY HARD, but that's not her natural style/tone. So there's some sort of odd disconnect there. I think that's it. I didn't think it was horrible (the dancing was bad, the singing was not great, but her acting & the role I enjoyed)

Well, Bobby did say he was focussing on the younger actors......

I've read that's standard procedure based on the lawyer's recommendation - ask for spousal support immediately, pre-emptively.

Lainey gives her odds on each of these options today, along with her opinions on the pros & cons of each guy: http://www.laineygossip.com/ Who do you think will be picked (Wednesday, Nov 17) for the 25th anniversary of People Magazine's Sexiest Man Alive?

1) OK, topless & underwear works for me too 2) Blake Lively CANNOT ACT. God damnit Harvey Weinstein - screw 'em, put 'em in ONE MOVIE, then move one. Do NOT subject us to that shit over and over again.

I was watching a little on the Today Show this morning with my husband (I'm working from home today) and making comments about them - my husband actually listened to some of the reports on NPR yesterday and could participate in the conversation. Now, I'm not saying he'll be up in the wee hours watching the wedding coverage with me (he'll mock me mercilessly) but it's sweet he tries, nonetheless :4biggrin: I'm very superstitious about jewelry from divorces - I have the rings my mom had from her 1st two weddings - she took the diamond from her engagement to my father and made a pendant that matches garnet earrings she passed down from my great grandmother. And I have the gold wedding band from her marriage to my step dad (who raised me) I haven't figured out what to do with it yet, but - I can't wear it as a wedding ring However - for those rings, at least I know there was love in the marriage at some point before the divorces. For Charles & Di - I don't know that I'm comfortable with that assumption. I do think it's sweet that he gave her the ring because he wanted his mother to be part of the process. I have to imagine they talked about it amongst themselves, too, and if Kate had wanted a different ring - I bet William would have found her something else. I thought they were sweet and pretty dang normal in the snippets of the interview I saw this morning. And yes, now I want them to go have a happy engagement and I don't need to hear anything about it until the wedding day

Let's just hope he's shirtless for most of the movie Would you accept a "skintight-shows every bulge" bodysuit?
