That's Giambattista Valli and I think it's a GORGEOUS dress!! This role of Little Edie has been GREAT for Drew's style!!

Still pisses me off. Dolly Parton wouldn't have apologized for making a saucy statement!!! These new chicks need to find better role models

I adore Kathy Griffin, and I think her body is very nice (and I know she worked hard at it--I've seen her show ) BUT I think that picture has just a bit more than a dash of "female bodybuilder" to it and it's very unappealing to me for that reason....

No, I think they call each other up when they're horny. This last time they were "dating", I didn't see many (any?) photos of them out together. I think it's far more likely they're just fuck buddies and he's more serious (or thinks he wants to/should be) and she's just out for a good time. And good for her for knowing she doesn't want to be married to him--better to break up with him than lead him on, right?

It infuriates me too. God damn country music fans.[i like country music, the real stuff. Not this current pop country shit they keep on the radio. Thank god for satellite...] I hate when this happens, but I agree with Lainey in her response from Tuesday:

Anyone who read and loved the Anne of Green Gables books by LM Montgomery needs to read Before Green Gables by Budge Wilson. Written with the permission of her estate, it's a lovely prequel to the Anne series--Anne's life before she was adopted by the Cuthberts. You think it's going to be depressing, but the joy of "Anne" is that she always finds the good in everything. It's a young adult book, so a quick read--I really enjoyed it. And as soon as I finished it, I dug out the first Anne book, Anne of Green Gables, and read that for the umpteenth time. Lovely!

I don't have a problem with it. I don't have kids, or stepkids, but I have multiple step-parents, all of whom I still have a great relationship with (regardless of their current relationship with my biological parents). I still think there could be language issues (hell, we all know that people with english as a first language fumble with their statements all the time too) But even if she meant it exactly as she said it--so what. The most important thing is the kid has loving people around him.....

Fortunately I wasn't doing shots of liquor--just drinks of beer--much easier on the older "partier" :4biggrin:

Awesome! Hubby and I were playing a drinking game along with last night's HIMYM episode--drink every time they hid her pregnancy belly behind a new object. Guitar--drink! Basketball rack--drink! Huge straw bag--drink!! It was fun
-
I agree--I'm hoping it was some sort of "english as a second language" (or being taken out of context) kind of thing.

She's got a boy-toy--why should she care?

Let's hope only the Oval Office has the heat cranked up and the rest of the house is lower.....

You don't know what their thermostat is set at. There are (many) days when I run around in a short sleeve shirt & boxers at home--in the winter, and our thermostat is set at 64. And no, they're not hot flashes, I'm only 35. I'm just saying--you don't know

Yes, I believe the consensus here is "dish"

I think I'd rather have her gush over her leading men than be a bitch about working with them (or, a bitch *while* working with them). I think gushing is just the Hollywood version of being professional and praising your co-workers..... [yeah, yeah--I admit, I'm a Julia Roberts fan....Even if I can't remember the last movies of hers I saw....]

My read on Ted's comments on Pattinson are that he's young and he plays around--with boys and girls. Not that he's gay or straight or even bi--just experimenting.

I would so pay money for the video of Jackman & Pattinson doing karaoke!!!!!

Get that poor woman some DEEP CONDITIONER. And maybe a haircut while we're at it. Her hair looks totally fried....

I remember Jackson Hole as a GREAT place to ski. And this time of year, I imagine that is what most people there are doing. Especially as Valentine's Day was also during President's Day long weekend and that's the 2nd busiest time of year for ski resorts....

Sophia does have an eyeglass line but I haven't seen any commercials for it: Raquel Welch is the Foster Grant chick http://www.businesswire.com/portal/site/go...amp;newsLang=en

I think part of the problem is the mascara abuse/fake eyelashes. And the shape of her eyebrow. If the eye area were slightly more natural maybe she wouldn't look so odd..... But her body? Oh yeah, she's still got it!!!

The dog was Loki. He had the photo on a necklace last night too....

Is he a deadbeat dad because an idiot reporter (in People) screwed up and failed to report a child? Or is there actually a story there?

My best friend loved that book. I got it at a booksale or tag sale a few years ago and tried to read it. Could NOT get beyond the first chapter. That's very odd for me. I've kept it, in hopes I might be able to get into it in the future, because I've heard quite a few people talk about how much they love it.

I get so behind in checking my to-do reading list--I was doing some updating a few weeks ago and realized there were some authors I hadn't checked on in so long they had 4 years + of books for me to catch up on. Having a long list of authors/series is good for helping to avoid the feast/famine problem, because someone on the list is going to have written something you haven't read yet ;-)
