I don't want to laugh, but honestly? Too much!! (they talked about it on the today show)

I thought most dispute the "boo" - I didn't hear it for H&M. On entrance to church, it was for Boris Johnson who went in just prior. On exit, only a couple people in the crowds trying to get it going and the rest confused by that. I honestly don't think the majority of the crowd would boo them. But they are being fed a pretty constant stream of crap from the tabloids. Much as I recognize the clear bias on the celebitchy site, I agree about the untamed vitriol that keeps coming out about team sussex.

No one knows. Until we do 😉 It'll come out at Christmas (Queen and all the great-grands is my guess) Or her funeral 😞

I just recorded a couple of things on tv here, watched youtube videos of a couple things (esp after reading bitchy comments elsewhere, had to go back and watch the balcony at the Trooping to see Kate "refuse" to move from next to the Queen, then the balcony after the pageant when William refused to move next to the queen and Kate - with Louis- had to squeeze behind him. Charles had similarly blocked Camilla (tight passage, with the columns) but he moved out of the way, ushered Camilla into place, then moved back himself.) There were rumors they wanted a photo where Kate could be photoshopped out 😶

Watching ABC version of concert - I think it's cute! I love to see Prince George singing along with Rod Stewart (inexplicably singing Neil Diamond? Why?) Prince William and Kate were shown singing along too.

This photo is TOO much. Captioned like it's a football match 😂 I do think the kids were amazing considering how stressful (good and bad) the past few days have been. These kids don't get a ton of exposure like this (some other royal kids have been out more frequently). I think it was good and bad - it was fun to see the kids, kids WILL do and say the darndest things and the videos & photos are great because of that. But yeah, I feel for them. I agree I love to see the relationships of all the cousins and (2nd? onec removed?) cousins. It's nice they're of similar ages to get along and enjoy each others' company - 2 generations. Edward & Sophie's kids in an akward in between ages - I hope they aren't always stuck as babysitters but get to have fun on their own. Just not sure which group they'd get to hang with? (I was a weird kid - mostly an only child and not near cousins, most who were a LOT younger - I hung out with my parents' friends a lot, but then I got along better with adults than kids)

Wasn't sure where to put this. Watching Roland Garros men's final today, paused when the camera picked up King Felipe and Crown Prince Haakon. Yum. Damn, I cannot upload my photo. Thought I could on my phone, though I can't on my laptop, haven't been able to in months 😞

We got off topic in a gossip thread so, after searching and not finding an existing general sports thread, I thought I would start one. We were lured off-topic by discussions of the Stanley Cup playoffs. Go Red Wings :4biggrin: I personally don't care for "the big three" in American culture - baseball, basketball or football--but will watch virtually anything played in the Olympics. Even, thanks to my husband, curling I also like to watch tennis and was thrilled to watch Roger Federer win the French Open this week. What a great tennis player (and it was really fun to see Anna Wintour actually animated when he won, too )

I am in love with Duchess of Gloucester's pearls from today. MONSTERS, she's always stunning and her jewelry rocks. I've read Celebitchy but they remain too mean for me, the comments at least. The blog Court Jeweler - my pandemic addiction - has been a happy space to discuss all the jewelry, and a little bit of the clothing. There's a royal hat blog too I like!

I had really been leaning in to "serious health issue" combined with "hiding from her asshole husband" as the explanations for the past couple of years. Contrary conspiracy theory on celebitchy - she had a horrendous coke addiction caused HUGE nasal problems so that's what all her surgeries were, then the past 6+ months in Switzerland are part of the detox/rehab still..... So, cancer or coke? Or just miserable + plastic surgery? Who knows?? But it's made Charlene watching more interesting.....[I know, I'm horrible]

Funny, it feels like 16 months to me since we heard. Happy for them! I had wondered if she'd want to give birth in Barbados but I guess it's easier if she can do it in the US.....(I mean for citizenship, actually, not at all saying anything negative about actually giving birth in Barbados!!)

Steph Curry finished his bachelor's degree this year, 2022 from Davidson (also in NC! I have a couple friends who went there) Originally he was class of 2010 but clearly his basketball career led him astray. He finished online. Looks like online classes & the pandemic were great tools to help celebs finish their college educations!!

She set herself up for this when she said she'd serve until she dies. Netherlands queen abdicated when she was tired of it and her son was ready and the entire family seems happy. ER2 was scarred by her uncle's abdication (and, more likely, her mother's lifelong reaction to it - including blaming her husband's rather early death on it, I believe) so there's no way she would consider. Sad, truly.
