  1. OK, I often find CB a little too mean for me, but I wholeheartedly agree with this take on KK:

What makes me mad is that Kim wore this incredibly historical piece of clothing and she made it look so basic and Kardashian. Her styling sucked, the hair was completely wrong, the jewelry was wrong, and Kim doesn’t actually have the natural charisma or sexiness to pull this off.

  2. I thought the best dressed were a couple of the men! Kilts on Oscar Isaac, the CAPE & suit on Stormzy (who i have never heard of) was gorgeously amazing and perfectly tailored! Same with Bad Bunny!

Lizzo looked great  too - the coat/cloak was my favorite accessory on anyone 😉 (there was someone else who said he was channeling Andre Leon Talley and I can't remember who right now - his memorial service was recent so it's possible it was someone's comment there, not the Met Gala, but I really think it was the Met....)

I always appreciate Sarah Jessica Parker's preparation and research, even if I don't love the reality of the look. I did like her look! Wouldn't have necessarily been my first choice but I understand what she was trying to do.

  3. They are reporting died by suicide this morning with not many more details.

When family says "died from mental health", really, there aren't a lot of options. I don't need to know how she died - I know that's terrible to report, honestly, it's a horrible trigger - but I do think it's important to know that even those who are open about their problems can't escape them.....

  4. Wondering if she died by suicide as Wynonna & Ashley gave cause of death as "mental illness" which Naomi has been quite open about for a long time (good for her). I know she has had a lot of health issues over the years. They just performed recently and still sound amazing.

These weren't divorce papers.   Jason and Olivia never married.

I'm just spitballing here, but I do wonder whether Olivia has been evading this for a while which forced the issue of serving her at a place of work.

It's just so weird to me bc they really seemed pretty amicable in the split. She & the kids were in England when he was filming Ted Lasso (both S1 & S2 I think) and he thanked her and the kids in his Emmy (?) acceptance speech. Appearances can be deceiving and no one outside knows what really happens in a relationship.

Speaking of, Princess, I'm so sorry that happened to you and I would have tried to do the same thing! Look up my credit fraudulently and bad mouth me? Oh honey, there will be consequences.....

    3) Most process servers are just people doing a job, but some of them unquestionably delight in the subterfuge inherent in serving papers. This mystery server appears to be one of those. She either faked her credentials extremely well, or she actually registered for CinemaCon just to do this. Either way, COMMITMENT. But also, come on, that’s SUCH an asshole move.

  7. We had free Showtime this past weekend so I recorded the first episode of The First Lady - we watched last night. Viola Davis, Gillian Anderson, Michelle Pfeiffer- all amazing, but Pfeiffer is the most amazing. Viola and Gillian doing weird mouth things (and it looks like Gillian has teeth or other prothesis - and I barely recovered from her Margaret Thatcher from The Crown, the Eleanor Roosevelt mouth might do me in).

Michelle Pfeiffer as Betty Ford - wow. I mean, she is so good. No clue when I'll get to see the rest of the episodes (and I'm not even sure how many episodes there will be) but I do recommend after my first look!

I say good for them for sneaking in a trip, imagine they did it without any leaks!  But I also think it shows the Queen is, er, um....Well, she'll be 96 next week so we'll leave it at that.

  9. Victoria and David still have different threads so I didn't know where to post. Have been looking at photos of Brooklyn's wedding this past weekend - meh on the bridal dress (esp considering the cost) and didn't like the gloves but did love the veil. What I like the most - they're combining their names! They'll be the Peltz-Beckhams (I think). I like that a lot.

  10. Yes, the whole public/private thing is a big issue for Andrew because of his ego (his id? who knows 😉) He's always been Mom's Favorite, no one expected that to change (I find that everyone agrees he's always been the favorite, but half the people say it's because he's the product of her affair with Porchy and the other half say he's the result of the "coming back together" with Phillip, re-cementing THEIR love after HIS affairs. I personally think he's Phillip's son and I also think Phillip never stopped having affairs, so who knows why Andrew is the favorite....)

@witchkitten- celebitchy's coverage of the FlopTour was hysterical. Bordering on mean a little (that's one site where I do not ever comment - and sometimes I flinch reading others' comments - yikes) But for that tour, entirely appropriate.....

  11. Trying to avoid commenting on the incident - it's certainly not my place - but I do feel the apologies have been well written. Regardless of how he might actually feel, these were true apologies, no bullshit "I'm sorry if you were offended" crap. He says "I was wrong, I hurt you, and I'm sorry". I appreciate that, because in this day - even with way too many PR and spin doctors involved - apologies don't seem to be profound or ring true, and this (to me) does.

  12. Most of the takes I've read are that he was working as fast as he could on whatever he could while he was able - to secure his family's financial future. Honestly can't blame him for that - and the  fact that his entire family includes his ex (whom he spent quite a bit of quarantine with, without the current wife) and they are all supporting him. It's weird to me but they seem to have worked it out somehow.
