They might not divorce as soon as some predict, but I do think they are genuinely pretty miserable as a couple. She is profoundly insecure and narcissistic and he is an addict who frequently falls off the wagon and has spoken of feeling permanently uncomfortable in his own skin. He clearly needs space to do his work, and she loves/needs to be the center of attention. I think they love each other but are fundamentally ill matched to spend all their time together. But that doesn't mean they couldn't have a long term wonderful relationship that might look different from others. I just don't think JLo especially is willing to do something like that, that might mean something like (a favorite line from a song) "live close by, and visit often".
