Lindsay Lohan still broke and a mess

Recommended Posts

people.com

....Lohan, who is expected to serve two weeks at the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, Calif., received her first visitor on Tuesday – lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley, who said the starlet was having a "difficult time adjusting."

Said Holley: "She's trying to make the necessary adjustments to an extremely stressful and difficult situation. There were some tears."

Send Lindsay Lohan a Cell Block Snack Pack!

Today 6:25 AM PDT by Katherine Riley

Eonline.com

Feeling bad about Lindsay Lohan's incarceration? Well, now you can send her a lovely gift basket of jailhouse-approved treats!

Just click on over to Keefe Commissary Network's Inmate Package program and enter LiLo's booking number—that's 2409752, folks—and the tasty goodies you order will be delivered to the locked-up starlet. The delectable selections include KitKats, Ramen noodles and Hot & Spicy Pork Cracklings. For you nonfoodies, prepaid phone cards are also offered.

But don't get too gift-crazy...

Each inmate is given a "spending limit" of only $135 per week, Sunday through Saturday, with no backorders. Fortunately, the website displays Lindsay's remaining gift balance before you order, in case some other Freaky Friday fans beat you to the purchasing punch.

Of course, if Lindsay's limit is hit, you could always just send something to fellow Lynwood jailbird Alexis Neiers instead, right?

Why are they still letting her have adderall??? Just because she has a "prescription" doesn't make this right, in fact, it's horribly wrong.

Why would you need to treat ADHD while being locked up 24/7 for only three weeks? UGGHHHH. I am so done with this.

I agree. I heard on TV they let inmates have their scripts of meds but if you don't need it and are just using it to abuse it then why should she be given it? What a fucked up prison system there is in Calf.

This is why lately there is lots of pressure to regulate the docs that are giving out prescriptions without merit. We get enough Michael Jacksons, Corey Haims, Brit Murphys & Lindsay Lohans the regulations will eventually change. ...hopefully.

I'm not a Lohan supporter, but I don't think it's the role of the prison (whomever controls it - LA or California state) to regulate medication and approve/disapprove medications. They aren't physicians and shouldn't be placed in that role. If her legal physician thinks she needs these medications, that should be allowed as a matter of health & well-being of the patient/prisoner. Maybe they have an MD committee with oversight - that I don't know - but otherwise - let the doctors handle the medical issues.

Now - we can discuss unethical Hollywood doctors prescribing whatever the celebs think they need -that's a good topic!!

Ha - Princess and I post same thing same time :-)

Prisons have doctors, nurses, etc. in the infirmaries. It's not like some prison guard is deciding who gets what meds.

That's another can of worms. Prison doctors/nurses have authority over the prisoners, the potential for abuse is huge. Don't do what your guards tell you to do? No more XYZ meds for you. Not to say all prison workers are bad (I'd say most aren't, but I've heard some horror stories I wish I hadn't), but the onsite docs at jails are suppose to be there emergency stuff only - not as your primary care (unless you're in long term prison, that's another can of worms, lol).

This is why there is huge debate about this issue. There is no easy answer on how to stop prescription medication abuse until you make the dr. accountable, but do you punish the doctor when the patient lies and the dr believed them?? Always comes back to the patient - they have to help themselves. And a strong family to call you on your shit (you there Lindsay??).

I'm not at all surprised she is getting the meds. The two weeks part kind of pisses me off, though. Now to see what kind of rehab she ends up in. She really needs to be in one that does NOT allow her off-site, unsupervised jaunts. As far as I'm concerned, her shopping is as much an addiction as anything else she does, and I'm serious.

Hollywood creating adult children cycle continues.....

Anyone actually think this will be her wake-up call, or she still on downward spiral?

unfortunately I think it might take a hospital trip for her to learn, although I do hope she knows from this.

Ali was photographed yesterday in a sheer tank and no bra, so it looks like she's going to continue the shenanigans while sis is away

As long as her "support" system encourages and allows her to continue to drink, abuse drugs and not take responsibility (ahem, Dina Lohan, I am talking to you) this won't be her wake up call at all. I'm really not sure what would need to happen for Dina to acknowledge that "this child", which is how she always refers to 24yo Lindsay, can't keep living the way she has been.

I think she has a chance if she disappears for a year and comes back lucid and calm. The Linda Lovelace film is, in my opinion, a huge mistake.

Lindsay Lohan's Mom, Sister Visit Jail

Sources say Lohan is sleeping, eating well in custody so far.

By Jocelyn Vena

Two days into Lindsay Lohan's jail sentence, her mother, Dina, and sister, Ali, visited the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, California, where the actress is currently being held. They spent more than an hour at the jail, but it is unknown whether or not they actually met with Lindsay, People.com reports.

Although exceptions can be made, visiting hours at Lynwood are on weekends for family and friends, who can also leave money for inmates to buy necessities in the jail. A rep for Ali Lohan hadn't responded to MTV News' request for comment about the visit as of press time.

According to a source in the jail, Lohan is worried about her safety but has "slept soundly for most of her time in custody" and is being "cooperative." While Lindsay will likely only serve two weeks of her 90-day sentence, she has expressed concerns about being around the other inmates despite reassurances she would be kept away from the general public.

Lindsay has been adjusting to life behind bars, according to the report. On Wednesday, her breakfast included cold cereal and a hard-boiled egg. A source adds that Lindsay has "devoured all the food served to her."

Popeater.com reports that Lindsay, who has released two albums, has already come up with a way to pass her time in custody. A source tells the website that "Lindsay is going to spend her time in jail writing new songs that she will record the second she gets out. Her emotions are so raw at the moment the material will be her best ever. It will definitely get nominated for a Grammy."

The website also reports that while her mother and sister have made efforts to visit her, her father is unwelcome at the jail. "Her father will not be allowed to visit her," a source said. "She wants no part of him."

Ironically, the woman in the cell next to Lindsay's is "Pretty Wild" star Alexis Neiers, who was one of the people involved with a string of robberies in the Los Angeles area that targeted celebrities including Lohan. A watch of Lohans' was found at Neiers' home.

I think this sentence alone qualifies for the "WTF?" thread.

the only thing that came to mind when I saw the pic of Dina visiting jail was that she lost the phone number to their connection.

If someone were to take a picture of underage Ali in a sheer top with no bra, would that be considered akin to child porn? At least Britney and the others were "legal age" when they flashed the cameras.

According to an inmate just released from Lynwood County Jail aka Lindsay Lohan's temporary home, she says that Lindsay is getting very special treatment:

The jail has been put on lock-down 3 times in 24 hours, due to staff moving Lindsay around

She was mainly in her room crying and laying down

She's getting special food

Her room is like a hospital bed

The officers/guards are letting her use their personal cell phones

She has a dresser in her room

She has a TV in her room

3 different pairs of clothes to change into compared to regular inmates who only get 1 pair every couple of days

I had a horrible day today ( Daughter chipped her tooth and going to pick her up I was rear-ended { my car ... not me personally :4biggrin: }) so this made me literally laugh out loud.. She has only been in there for what 2 days. Her emotions aren't "raw" she probably just going through withdrawal. I think it is called the shakes.

A relative of mine had a TV in his cell. He made the mistake of complaining to me that he did not have CABLE though. He also had several changes of clothing. I know this because we (Mr. Desertdreaming and I) had to buy him basics like underware, thermals, shoes, socks, sweats and take it up to him. I was major pissed over this. There were other things but I digress......

But why if she is alone in her cell do they need to do a "lock down"? Unless she is out of control and causing major problems. If the cell phone, food, and bed are true I would hope that inmates in this jail start raising holy hell over this.

considering she's already gotten visitors, she's clearly getting special treatment. Way to enable, guys! More than ever I hope this girl tanks bigtime when she gets out. She's an obnoxious, entitled bitch, and I'm sick of people giving her "sympathy" because she had bad parenting and "a disease" (and before I get nasty IMs, I do believe it is a disease, but it has a TREATMENT which requires you to quit being an obnoxious, entitled bitch.) She's old enough to know better.

A day after Lindsay Lohan's mom Dina, sister Ali and business manager Lou Taylor visited her in jail, the actress got to see another familiar face: ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson.

The DJ, 32, arrived at Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, Calif., around 1:40 p.m. on Thursday and stayed about an hour. While leaving the all-women's jail, Ronson snapped at a reporter who asked how Lohan, 24, was holding up.

"How do you think she's doing?" Ronson replied.

Later, on her Twitter page, Ronson wrote: "Song Of The Day: Rolling Stones – Waiting on A Friend."

Lohan's attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, also dropped by and her former attorney Blair Berk visited her earlier in the day. "She's good. She's (doing) better every day," Chapman Holley says.

Though visiting hours at the jail are on the weekend for family and friends, Lohan has been able to see visitors "for security reasons. It's for the safety of everyone," law enforcement officials told local TV station KTLA.

The actress is likely to serve two weeks of a 90-day sentence for violating probation in a DUI case.
