Lindsay Lohan still broke and a mess

Recommended Posts

Not that she has been treated like anyone else would <_< , but under normal circumstances she would be allowed to do her in-patient rehab until she was done, then she'd do her 30 day jail sentence after (if the judge actually orders the 30 days jail, which has not actually happened yet). They wouldn't break up rehab with the jail time in the middle. And yes, she prob wouldn't do the full 30 days of jail due to overcrowding but the average person wouldn't either. Again, this is assuming she'll be treated like the average person.

Bumping this in anticipation of this morning's circus.... now chant with me: Jay-yul, Jay-yul, JAY-YUL!

I actually anticipate that they will send her back to an extended rehab stint. And I think that's probably the responsible thing to do. VERY extended. But I also think they will threaten her with immediate and long jail if she fs it up again. And did anyone see the Starbucks pictures on TMZ? Why is her nexk so orange and everything else white?

Well more than 90 days in rehab will do that gal good. But....

Rarely have we seen a person fail who has thoroughly followed our path. Those who do not recover are people who cannot or will not completely give themselves to this simple program, usually men and women who are constitutionally incapable of being honest with themselves. There are such unfortunates. They are not at fault; they seem to have been born that way. They are naturally incapable of grasping and developing a manner of living which demands rigorous honesty. Their chances are less than average. There are those, too, who suffer from grave emotional and mental disorders, but many of them do recover if they have the capacity to be honest.

There are just as many studies that say AA (who follow the 12 Steps program) work as studies that say it doesn't work. As someone who works in the industry that promotes materials that say the 12 steps work, I personally think it depends on the individual person. It's not "giving themselves to the program" - it's accepting you actually have a problem and want to do something about it. I love that AA helps a lot of people, but it is not the do-all answer that they promote. It doesn't work for everyone, even if they do accept they have a problem and are going to do something about it.

Now I think I'll have a drink :D

Lindsay Lohan -- Judge Orders Her to Rehab

10/22/2010 9:25 AM PDT by TMZ Staff

Lindsay Lohan was just ordered back to rehab until at least January 3, 2011 -- no jail time.

Lohan is due back in court on February 25. She will be subject to drug testing in between her release from rehab until her court date. If Lindsay does not test positive for drugs or alcohol before her next scheduled during that time, he will convert her sentence to unsupervised probation.

The D.A recommended Lindsay get 180 days in county jail. The judge specifically stated he wanted Lindsay in rehab past the New Year.

The judge said to Lindsay at one point, "You are an addict. I hope you understand that." Lindsay nodded her head in agreement.

He added, "I don't want another train wreck."

Lindsay's estranged father, Michael Lohan, sat on the opposite side of the court from Lindsay's mother, Dina.

Lindsay was in tears at the end of the hearing and when asked if she understood the judge's ruling, she responded, "No, your honor. I understand. Thank you."

Our reporter in the court said Lindsay showed off her SCRAM bracelet to her mother during the hearing and motioned as if she really wanted it removed. We're told that will happen soon.

Yeah, but I seriously doubt Lindsay thinks she has a problem. Or, she thinks her problems are everyone else's fault. Here is some more evidence of her delusions that she can manuever her way out of this, and isn't taking this seriously:

Lindsay Lohan told her probation officer that continued, inpatient treatment would be a hardship financially, and damaging to her career ... this according to Probation Department docs obtained by TMZ.

Agreed she isn't taking it seriously. If a regular Joe like us used "financial hardship" and "damaging to career", we would be told to go to a cheaper in-patient rehab facility or do the jail time instead. As for hurting career, judges don't give a shit. They figured we did that ourselves.

I thought it looked like her tan was wearing off, unevenly. What caught my attention were the bags under her eyes. Detox appears to be taking its toll.

...Dr. Lee Sadja, who dealt with Lohan during her stay at the UCLA Medical Center, believes the longer [Lohan] is at the Betty Ford Center, the better. "There was some denial regarding her drug addiction. [she] needs to continue to work on her issues in order to save her life," the report says.

Gary Richman, a chemical dependency counselor who also worked with Lohan, agrees the actress is not ready to leave the clinic.

Richman believes "she has a lot of growing up to do," the report says. "[she] finally began to talk about feeling powerless and about being an addict ... She must make several changes in her life in order to succeed, especially coming from a family of dysfunction."

Ummm... weren't they the ones that recommended she be released early the last time??

'I can't afford rehab': Lindsay Lohan pleads poverty as court orders a $53k stay at Betty Ford

By Daily Mail Reporter

Lindsay Lohan was clearly relieved on Friday when Judge Elden Fox ordered her back to rehab instead of sending her to jail. But her probation report raises the question of how exactly the 24-year-old is going to pay the $53,000 charge for her three-month stay.

Lindsay has been ordered to stay at the Betty Ford Clinic until January 3. The report says: 'She indicates she can not afford to continue to pay for the treatment program and she needs to work. '[Lohan says] her clothing line is falling apart because she is not available to monitor the product.'

While Lohan's clinic is highly effective at treating people with addictions, it charges them a lot of money for doing so. Her request to be moved into outpatient care instead was denied by the judge. But according to People magazine, Lindsay hasn't allowed rehab to get in the way of business. The Herbie star continued to work on her 6126 line from inside the centre, and carried on having meetings with whoever she needed to talk to.

'Lindsay is still seeing income from the line, and it's doing three times better than originally expected,' a source says. 'It's keeping her busy and productive.' Being sent to rehab for the next three months also means that there is no way the actress will be able to film her role as Linda Lovelace in the film Inferno.

The probation report says she 'is claiming that continued inpatient treatment would be a hardship financially, and damaging to her career.' But it doesn't look as if anyone thinks letting her out of the facility is a good idea, despite the fact that Lindsay claims that rehab is ruining her financially. All the doctors who have been involved with the actress believe the longer she is in rehab the better.

I can't stand this woman, but I think that NOT doing the Linda Lovelace biopic would be GOOD for her career. All I can think of when I hear this is: Dana Plato. She too resorted to soft core porn in her desperation, and look how she ended up.

PETA or Porn: Who's Footing Lindsay Lohan's Rehab Bill Today? :4biggrin:

Today 9:07 AM PDT by Marianne Garvey

Eonline.com

She's trying to kick her coke habit and having a hard time footing the bill.

But if she wants her Betty Ford tab paid, Lindsay Lohan's going to have to get off the meat and cheese, too.

PETA stepped up today, offering to pay Lohan's rehab expenses (which she insists are bleeding her dry), but with one big condition:

She turn vegan.

"As you know, a crucial part of any recovery is showing charity to others. One way to do this is to be kind to animals, the Earth, and your own body. You'll never regret it," writes PETA head Michelle Cho in a letter to the actress.

The critter-loving group promises to pay up to $20,000 of Lohan's $50,000 bill for her three-month court-ordered stay. She'd get $10,000 up front for eschewing burgers and milkshakes while she's still receiving treatment at the center. If she wants the remaining $10,000, she'd have to go completely vegan for one year following her release on Jan. 3.

"After learning that Lindsay Lohan has fallen on tough economic times, PETA offered to help pay her rehabilitation bill as she recovers from substance addiction—that is, if she gives up one more toxic substance: meat. (In the U.S., eating animal-derived products exposes diners to antibiotics, pesticides, E. coli, fecal matter, and other potentially harmful substances.)," a PETA rep tells E! News.

If Lohan somehow can't part with the chicken fingers and other carnivore-friendly Betty Ford grub, there's always a career in porn—but not doing what you think.

Adult sex site Tube8.com tells RadarOnline it would underwrite Lohan's sojourn at the center in return for her, uh, input—as a marketing consultant that is. The porn purveyours would hand her $50,000 and unlimited access to their porn collection for her services.

So a burger-free year or endless porn viewing? Your move, Lindsay.

On Shopping Spree During Rehab Break

Posted on Nov 05, 2010 @ 06:33AM

RadarOnline

Lindsay Lohan got to indulge in a favorite pastime on Tuesday during a quick trip outside the walls of her rehab. The Mean Girls star headed to a nearby shopping center

for some retail therapy, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively.

Lohan, who is currently in treatment at the Betty Ford Center, went to Forever 21 in Palm Desert, California with an unidentified female.

"Lindsay came in two days ago with another young woman. Lindsay kept to herself, but was friendly. Lindsay bought a leopard sweater, a lot of pajama bottoms, and a ton of socks," the store manager Tiffany Bennett told RadarOnline.com.

"Her choices were for leisure wear. Lindsay spent about $200 total and she paid for the items herself."

Lohan's shopping companion also did some damage, buying up around $300 worth of merchandise.

"We were surprised that Lindsay was so low key," Bennett said. "The only thing she asked us to do was to hold some of the items at the front until she was finished picking things out."

According to Bennett, the actress "looks really, really good" and added that locals often spot her at Starbucks.

"She goes to the Starbucks next door all the time."

Lohan was ordered to stay at Betty Ford until January 3 by Judge Elden Fox. If Lindsay fails to follow any of Judge Fox's orders, she could face being sent to jail for six months.

So did Momma or Linds arrange for Forever 21 to be the sponsor this week?!?! :D

And for a gal who is "broke" and can't afford Betty Ford, even $200 is a lot of money. I'm also disturbed by the vision of her spending her days in pajama pants in rehab. Get some pride, girl.

Hate to say it, but it is the norm. Even in the fancy places (although more likely Juicy sweats :D).

Lindsay's Mom and Siblings Angry At 'Glee'

11/17/2010 10:22 AM PST by TMZ Staff

Lindsay Lohan's mom and siblings think "Glee" was shameful for mocking Lindsay on the show last night ... this according to sources connected to Dina and the kids.

On the show, Gwyneth Paltrow played a Spanish teacher whose classroom lesson included the following: "Lindsey [sic] Lohan is totally crazy, right?" And, Gwyneth quizzed the class in Spanish, "How many times has Lindsay Lohan been to rehab?"

We're told Dina is saying, "Shame on them," and the family feels it was "tasteless."

I'm new to Glee, but I did watch this week's episode and I was cracking up at this part. So how long before she sues??

What the hell is wrong with this family? Is this the same girl who use to make fun of Paris and everyone else on the planet? They are tasteless.
