It would appear Julia Roberts and her husband of three and a half years are getting a divorce. When Julia and Danny Moder first met each other Danny was married. Before long he left his wife for Julia, and once he did she sort of lost interest. She pursued him relentlessly up until then, but once the chase was over, Julia became indifferent. They did of course end up getting married, and then had twins, but now Julia is packing up her things and moving away. She’s going to New York to do Broadway for the first time. She’s committed for six months. Danny asked if he could come along and Julia said no. She told him he had to stay to renovate the new Malibu home she bought. She does plan on taking the children and several nannies with her. Some are calling this six months a trial separation.

Wow. Hubba hubba! She looks amazing in that photo! I don't usually find Julia attractive, but she looks great here. She's wearing her wedding ring in the picture, so I wonder if the rumoured split is true!

NATIONAL ENQUIRER/By MICHAEL GLYNN Julia Roberts' three-year marriage to cameraman Danny Moder is on the rocks. Sources say the couple have been spending more and more time apart since the birth of their twins almost a year ago. Now, amid constant fighting, they plan to live apart - and friends fear it could destroy their relationship forever! Sources close to the couple told The National Enquirer the pressures of parenthood have put an intolerable strain on their marriage, which began so promisingly with an Independence Day wedding in 2002. Their sex life is believed to have suffered, say insiders, and Danny has objected to the way his Oscar-winning wife calls the shots at home over everything from kids to careers. "There is something wrong and neither wants to talk about it," said a source very close to the pair. "Danny is distant and Julia wants to be on her own. I think something is definitely amiss." Pretty Woman star Julia, 38, has been spending more time with the children at her $5 million ranch in Taos, New Mexico - while her husband has remained in Los Angeles. Now she intends to live in their New York apartment with the twins while she appears in a Broadway play. In the meantime, Danny, 36, will stay in Malibu, California, and oversee multi-million dollar renovations to their ocean-view home. The sources say tension has been brewing in the marriage since son Phinnaeus and daughter Hazel were born last November. "Julia and Danny love each other deeply, but the pressures of a new family have pulled them apart," said the family friend. "They hope that by spending some time apart they will get their marriage exactly back on track. "So while Julia is in rehearsal in New York for her Broadway play, Three Days Of Rain, Danny will be all the way across the country in Malibu. That way, he can also surf to his heart's content and look for film work at the same time. Julia really loves those children, but she hasn't been working as hard as she'd probably like on movies, which is very new to her. It's been a tough year."

Sprawling ranch in New Mexico: 5 million dollarsFancy Designer silk gown: 4 thousand dollarsBaby Toy/Accessory Thing-y: 75 dollarsNot having to see Julia Roberts' horse teeth in a picture for once: Priceless! She does look good though. What is it with her and men though? She really does seem to have some bad luck. I think Ben Bratt said her ego was huge. I think she was bound and determined to land Danny and have babies just to get back at him.

Here’s a shocking new headline for you (NOT REALLY!!) “Julia Roberts’ marriage on the rocks, friends fear they’re headed for divorce.” Julia & Danny Moder have been married for 3 years and 3 months, realistically that’s the longest she’s ever been with any guy, married or not. When she met Sanny, he was still in love with his wife, a makeup artist for the Hollywood studios, the first few times he slept with Julia, he did it for the same reason any guy would…she was Julia Roberts, but whenever he’d go back to his wife, Julia went berserk. She couldn’t figure out why he would choose an ordinary girl over a world-class movie star, so Julia became relentless. Her competitive fires were stoked, she wouldn’t rest until he left his wife and married her, but when he finally did, she lost all interest and even worse, she lost all respect. (Okay...) To give you an idea, Julia just left for New York to do her first Broadway play, she figures to be gone at least 6 months. Not only didn’t she consult with Danny, she didn’t even tell him until she started packing her things, when he asked if he could come along, she refused, she said she needed him to oversee the renovation of the home she just bought for them in Malibu and as for the kids, she’s taking them, and several nannies, with her. More on Julia… back when she was making “Oceans 11”, George Clooney’s nickname for Julia was “The Alleycat,” she was engaged to his friend Benjamin Bratt at the time, but every chance she got, she was sleeping with the cameraman (Danny Moder, when he was still married). When Danny flew home for Christmas, Julia came onto Clooney (they’d been lovers a long time ago) but out of respect for Ben Bratt, he didn’t take her up on it, but that’s when he came up with the nickname “Alleycat”, telling her “you need to be spayed. Besides Ben Bratt & George Clooney, she’s also been with Daniel Day Lewis, Richard Gere, Ethan Hawke, Lyle Lovett (who she married, then divorced) and also Dylan Mcdermott, Liam Neeson, Jason Patric, Matthew Perry, Bruce Willis, and Kiefer Sutherland (who she publicly humiliated, by leaving him at the altar). Seems like the “Run-a-Way Bride” was the perfect role for her. WUHU 107

(NationalEnquirer.com)JULIA'S SECRET DATEBy MICHAEL GLYNN and ALAN BUTTERFIELD Julia Roberts flew more than 1,100 miles to cry on the shoulder of a close male friend over her troubled marriage. The Pretty Woman star made the overnight trip on a private jet — and husband Danny Moder was nowhere in sight! The secret flight from Julia's ranch in Taos, New Mexico, to Seattle, Wash., came as The National Enquirer revealed her three-year marriage was on the rocks.Julia, 38, who travelled with just one of her twins, was collected from her plane at lunchtime on October 17 by longtime friend Joel Clement, who was celebrating his 40th birthday that day.Her cameraman husband Danny, 36, was said to be away working on location on a movie. Sources say their other twin was unwell at home with the nanny."Julia felt so alone and she needed a shoulder to cry on. Who better than one of her best male friends?" said a family insider. After greeting Julia, environmental activist Clement carried her baby to his car, an ageing green BMW, and they drove to his small, very modest detached house in a tough, blue collar suburb. It is understood they spent the day together. But there was no sign of the actress when Clement arrived at The County Line Lounge and Restaurant at 9 pm to celebrate with a group of friends

You know, no matter how crappy you feel, you just don't leave your sick kid at home with the nanny so that you can cry on someone's shoulder. Your child's needs always come first !

Besides. The babies probably prefer their nanny to their mother, anyway. The nanny is probably kind and loving; mommy is an egocentric horse-faced alley cat.

Thats why I laugh everytime I hear that someone is delusional enough to think that a baby will bring them closer to whoever they want or whoever they are with. Babies ADD stress to a relationship.

Julia Roberts and Danny Moder take charge of their squirmy twins, Phinneaus and Hazel, who turn 1 on Nov. 28, as the brood make their way to lunch Saturday near their Taos, New Mexico, ranch.

So...Reports are everywhere that the marriage is in trouble, they are separated, blah blah blah, then suddenly a photo is released showing this very private couple out in public with their children - one big, happy family. If anyone doubts there is a publicity machine running things (see Vince and Jennifer), here's your proof.

WHATEVER HAPPENED TO PRETTY WOMAN? Julia Roberts Julia Roberts recently curled up on her couch in Taos, N.M., sipped wine, ate chocolates and cried over a movie that played on her TV. Sure, lots of women enjoy a good tearjerker, but Julia wasn't watching the latest movie of the week. She was weeping over her own old feel-good film, 1990's Pretty Woman! And the tears? Sadness over the fact that she, now a 38- year-old mother of 11-month-old twins, is no longer as gorgeous a creature as she was 15 years ago, claims a friend of Roberts. "She sees the movies and can't believe how much she's aged. And I think she's finding it even more difficult to stay confident now that she's a mom." Another friend of the actress adds: "It's not like she's gotten ancient, but watching the old movies makes Julia realize she's definitely not a sexy young thing anymore." QUITE A CHANGE In the past year, Julia — who came to fame with Pretty Woman and immediately won America's heart with her mile-wide grin and plucky personality — hasn't been photographed smiling much, let alone having a good time. Ever since giving birth to twins Phinnaeus and Hazel last Nov. 28, she's looked mostly somber, spending most of her time holed up at her Taos, N.M., home. When she does venture out, she wears baggy, unflattering, high-waisted jeans and no makeup. "She has become frumpy, grumpy and a bundle of nerves," says to a source close to Julia and her husband, cameraman Danny Moder, 36. "At one point she was viewed as the most beautiful woman in the world, but now she looks like a hobo."

Oh, get over it, Julia! Put some of your multi-million dollar fortune into a personal trainer, a decent hair stylist, and accept that even as a hot late-30-something you'd never be as gorgeous as you were as a hot mid-20-something. It's a reality we all have to face. Stop whining and be thankful that you didn't lose all your worldly possessions in Katrina, like so many others! (I love to snark about these self-indulgent actors.)

Julia was crying while watching Pretty Woman, hmmmmmmmmmm it probably occurred to her that the movie was a piece of crap, and she was typecast in the role.

LOL I love it!I just remember when she was in the process of stealing Danny Moder from his wife, and she wore that t-shirt that said "A Low Vera." ("Vera" was the name of his wife.) I thought that was so classless. (Not even sure what it referred to, but it was definitely nasty.)

I agree 100%. She should have kept their personal matters private and amongst them rather than taking some incomprensible, low blow at the wife. She was "the other woman," after all. I wonder if Vera is giggling to herself as she watches their marriage implode...
