gawkerceleb sighting reports sent in by readers:Was waiting for a table at Palm Too (midtown east) when our manager friend, Pick, alerted Katie (my fiancée) that Colin Farrell was eating there tonight. So my party went to go sit down in the other room and the manager took Katie to our table via the kitchen right past his table. When she got to OUR table she was gushing, but wait the story isn’t over. The OTHER manager, Gus, came over and informed Katie that Colin wanted to meet her. We all thought it was a joke but Gus wasn’t laughing. SO, she went over there leaving me at the table with our friends. About 20 minutes went by, and obviously I was nervous. So I went over there and to my surprise he was very charming as well as his bodyguard and some other guy. I pretty much had to pry her away (after she made a sly comment about his recent internet movie hehe…).

Judge Keeps Colin's Sex Tape Suit Alive By Gina Serpe1 hour, 18 minutes ago So far, Colin Farrell has managed to do what Paris and Pamela couldn't. A Los Angeles judge has rejected Farrell's ex-girlfriend's request to clear the way to release the former couple's steamy, three-year-old sex tape. Nicole Narain, Playboy's Miss January of 2002, had asked Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Elihu Berle to throw out Farrell's lawsuit barring her from distributing the videotaped hookup. Farrell filed his suit last July, claiming Narain and her porn-peddling pals had no right to release the X-rated romp because the 15-minute tape had been for private viewing only. On Monday, Berle denied Narain's motion, ruling there was sufficient evidence provided in Farrell's complaint for the trial to go forward. Berle said it was up to a jury to decide whether Narain committed a litany of transgressions as alleged by her ex, including breach of oral contract, invasion of privacy, violation of common law right of publicity, unfair competition and unfair business practices. The judge also rejected Narain's argument that her ex-beau's lawyers were making an unsupported copyright infringement claim against the former Playmate. Farrell's lawyer, Paul Berra, called the latter claim a red herring, saying that if the case was about copyright violations, it would have been brought before a federal court instead. As for Narain's attorney, Leodis Matthews, the judgment didn't appear to be much of a surprise. "The judge took the position we pretty much expected he would take, but we had to narrow down some of the issues," Matthews said outside court. Matthews added that next he will file an answer to Farrell's sex tape lawsuit and a counterclaim seeking a specific delineation of his client's rights in the pending case. Narain and Matthews' argument will hinge on Farrell's intentions in making the tape, claiming the actor can be heard toward the end of the video asking Narain what she wants to do with the footage. Not that they've been able to pin down the Miami Vice star to ask him. Earlier this month, Matthews spoke out against Farrell, saying the star was not cooperating with them and had repeatedly avoided giving a deposition in the case. "We've been trying to do the plaintiff's deposition for the last three months," Matthews told Los Angeles' KCAL 9 News at the time. "We've heard everything from [drug] rehabilitation to travel outside the country." As it stands, Narain challenges the Irishman's claim that they agreed to keep the tape private and furthermore says that as "cocreator" of the video, federal copyright laws grant her the right to produce, market, distribute and, most importantly, profit from it. But for the time being, a restraining order is in place to keep Narain from doing any of those things. The order, coming at Farrell's request, is temporarily blocking public release of the tape, though it hasn't always done its job. On Jan. 10, both stills and clips of the duo's explicit escapades were briefly leaked on the Internet. While Narain denied any part in the surfacing of the footage, she did admit to meeting with the adult Website company Internet Commerce Group and celebrity porn broker David Hans Schmidt to discuss ways of marketing the titillating romp. Shortly after the leak, a new defendant was added to the case. Farrell's camp expanded their suing scope to include former Price Is Right model Candace Smith as a defendant, accusing her of attempting to sell the footage. Berle has ordered mediation for the trial to wrap up by Apr. 20 and set a status conference for Apr. 27. If both sides fail to come to a resolution on the claims, a trial date has already been penciled in for July 17. From Yahoo.com

(Jossip.com)Sure, the Tribeca Film Festival is just around the corner, but first we've got smaller players to field — namely the Gen Art Film Festival. The Acura-heavy week-long event was sure to have some pleasantries, as evidenced by last night's screening of Shut Up And Sing, where the ensemble cast of Molly Shannon & Co. proved there's more to laugh at the Hamptons about than coked up publicists at Star Room. (And kudos to to the cast for having everyone show up.)But that's not where the fun ends, especially when Colin Farrell's involved. You remember him from such films as Phone Booth, Alexander, and, oh yeah, that porn flic with Nicole Narain. The recovering alcoholic – who wrapped Miami Vice before entering rehab for pain killer dependency in December – showed up Thursday night to catch Wristcutters: A Love Story at the Clearview West cinema in Chelsea. And while Open All Night was reporting the just-out-of-rehab Irishman sipped only Coca-Cola across the street at the Westside Tavern before the movie, we hear his imbibing at the afterparty at BED wasn't typical of a supposed teetotaler. No doubt sipping plenty of the sponsor-provided Johnny Walker Black Label (or was it Citroc vodka?), Farrell spent the evening getting sloshed — to the dismay of the hoards of publicists catering to every aspect of the event. Noticeably absent? Farrell's own publicist, Danica Smith, who we hear actually phoned in before the event to request handlers escort Colin from the party if he got out of control. In the end, that's exactly what happened when the Black Label started looking like colors of the rainbow.

NEW WORLD OF 'SMELLOVISION'    A Japanese cinema showing THE NEW WORLD will screen the COLIN FARRELL movie in 'Smellovision' to enhance the viewing experience. Seven smells will be emitted by machines placed under seats at the back of the theatre, depending on what kind of scene is playing during director TERRENCE MALICK's film at the time. Love scenes will be accompanied by a floral scent, while a peppermint and rosemary smell will waft through the cinema during emotional sequences.13/04/2006 09:19

(NYDailynews.com)Colin and ex-Playmate settle tale of the sex tape They may not have kissed, but estranged lovers Colin Farrell and Nicole Narain have made up.The actor and the former Playboy Playmate just reached a deal in their legal tussle over their infamous sex tape."It's an amicable settlement," Narain's lawyer, Leodis Matthews, tells us. "We were able to completely resolve it. The terms are confidential."Farrell, Narain and their lawyers spent almost five hours on Easter Sunday in New York wrangling with an arbitrator over the agreement. The two hadn't seen each other face to face since word leaked last year that representatives for Narain were peddling an explicit video from the couple's romp. Matthews insists that there was "no tension" between the former couple. But we hear that they sat on opposite ends of the negotiating table - and in separate rooms - and that Farrell showed little affection for the woman who, so far, has cost him an estimated $500,000 in legal fees. Also present at the summit were Phoenix-based agent David Hans Schmidt and representatives for the Internet Commerce Group (ICG), who together had hoped to sell the tape.Farrell is pressing ahead with his suit against ICG. Schmidt wouldn't tell us where he stands in the litigation. "I have some major decisions to make," said the agent, who could be a major asset to Farrell's team. Yesterday, tempers flared between Farrell's Rottweiler lawyer, Marty Singer, and counsel for ICG, who demanded to videotape their grilling of the star. Farrell's attorneys fear ICG might release footage of the actor talking about his sex life. "You want to start World War III?" Singer challenged opposing counsel, according to an earwitness.Sources say Farrell finally agreed to be taped after ICG agreed not to release the video. But some believe ICG execs may still ask a judge to make the tape public and might bring suit against Narain for allegedly breaching her contract by settling with Farrell. The case is due for trial in L.A. Superior Court on July 21.

Colin's Sex Tape Saga Settled E! Online Colin Farrell has succeeded in keeping his parts private. The actor and his former girlfriend, Nicole Narain, reached an amicable settlement in their legal battle over a sex tape they made together three years ago, her lawyer said. "We were able to completely resolve it. The terms are confidential," Narain's attorney, Leodis Matthews, told the New York Daily News. Farrell sued Narain, a onetime Playboy Playmate, last year, accusing her of trying to peddle the tape through a third party, despite a prior agreement that the footage was for private viewing only. He demanded general and compensatory damages, as well as the return of all copies of the tape to his possession. A judge subsequently issued an injunction blocking Narain from distributing the tape, but that didn't stop footage culled from the mattress romp from making a brief online appearance in January. Evidently a lot less modest than her ex about their X-rated escapades, Narain filed a motion asking that Farrell's lawsuit against her be dismissed, clearing the way for her to sell the tape. However, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Elihu Berle rejected Narain's request last month, ruling that there was enough evidence behind Farrell's claim for the matter to go to trial. Per the Daily News, Farrell, Narain and their respective lawyers spent several hours together on Easter Sunday hammering out the terms of the settlement. It was reportedly the first time that the former couple had been reunited since the sex tape surfaced last year. They were joined by Phoenix-based porn agent David Hans Schmidt (aka the "Sultan of Sleaze," a key figure in the brokering of numerous celebrity sex tapes) and representatives from Internet Commerce Group (ICG), who had hoped to sell the tape together. Farrell is pursuing his lawsuit against ICG, with whom Narain allegedly signed a seven-figure contract to release the tape. The trial in the matter is scheduled to begin July 21 in Los Angeles Superior Court.

Farrell's Ex at Risk of Further Sex Tape Lawsuit Colin Farrell's former lover Nicole Narain could still face a legal battle over the sex tape she filmed with the Alexander star. The former Playboy Playmate, who tried to sell the saucy recording to the Internet Commerce Group (ICG) for which she was sued by Farrell, could now be sued by ICG for refusing to release the tape. Legal bosses say the model could find herself slapped for loss of earnings by the internet firm, who promised her a six-figure sum for the video's release and 60 per cent of the profits. Farrell and Narain's lawyers reached an agreement to keep the tape under wraps last week however the actor still intends to sue ICG, with a trial set for July in Los Angeles.

5 May 2006FARRELL'S DROPPED AS DYLAN By Ryan Parry ACTOR Colin Farrell has been dropped from the lead role in a movie about Bob Dylan. The 29-year-old Irishman has been replaced by Brokeback Mountain star Heath Ledger. Director Todd Haynes is said to have changed actors at the last minute. US columnist Roger Friedman said: "The reason for Farrell's departure is unknown." Farrell, who left rehab in December, would have been one of six actors portraying Dylan. Ledger, Richard Gere, and Christian Bale will all play the singer in I'm Not There, which starts shooting this summer. Dylan is said to have waived his publishing income to help the budget. The White Stripes, Aimee Mann and others will play his songs.

I hope he casts Scarlett again. As good as Michelle Williams was in Brokeback Mountain, I just don't foresee her doing much for some reason. Maybe it's just because I really, really, really like Scarlett.

This photo (supposedly taken recently with two of Colin's fans) from JJB shows Colin Farrell wearing a wedding ring. Did he marry Lake Bell in a secret ceremony? Is he wearing the ring for a film role? Does he just like to wear jewelry? So many unanswered questions.

Crazy Irishmen Colin Farrell to Marry Lake Bell

According to reports, Colin Farrell is a total assclown, and not nearly as entertaining as he used to be now that he has sobered up. I know, I know, that sounds kind of mean. But the truth hurts, people. Now that Colin can actually pass sobriety checkpoints, he has decided that his little biological clock is ticking again, and that he needs to sooth the yearnings of his inner drunken slob by getting married to this hottie Lake Bell.

According to Newsweek, Colin and Lake have been dating for months. A source close to the void of drunken debauchery said that “Colin is a changed man since he went into rehabilitation in December and he wants to find someone to settle down with. In the last five years he’s found it hard to settle down but he says that Lake has been his rock and he can’t live without her.”

I still have no idea who Lake Bell is, but I always find that by looking at and posting morally wrong pictures of somebody, I am often filled with a deep sense of understanding. It’s that “ah-ha” moment, or as we call it in the business: the money shot.
