MMM1 1 Report post Posted August 13, 2003 i know someone who had some friends go see this movie. The friends had no idea the movie was a turkey (they never read movie reviews). They said it was really bad but kept waiting for it to kept better (poor things didn't know it would Never get better). Unfortunately or fortunately, the tape broke/or something during the middle of the movie and they were forced to leave. princess 1,712 Report post Posted December 18, 2004 EOnline.com BLINDED BY THE LIGHT: A California woman is suing the producers of mega-bomb Gigli, claiming she fell after being "temporarily blinded" by sun reflectors, according to Entertainment Tonight. The filmmakers allegedly set up the reflectors so that paparazzi wouldn't be able to get shots of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez kissing between scenes. The film was slated by critics and shunned by cinemagoers when it was released in 2003, causing it to flop badly - much like Affleck and Lopez's real-life romance. It was pulled from theatres after just three weeks, earned its stars Razzie Awards and now comes out top in Moviefone.com's new list of the worst. Editors picked "Gigli" above Paris Hilton's movie flop "The Hottie & the Nottie"; "American Idol" spin-off "From Justin to Kelly" and Ellen DeGeneres' "Mr Wrong."
