Beyonce done fell down the stairs at her show in Orlando last night! Orlando will do that to you. Beyonce handled it like a champ and got right back up and continued to lip-sync the hell out of that song like nothing happened!

Oh and she's totally lip-syncing and don't tell me otherwise!

People Love Watching Beyonce Fall Down Some Stairs

At an Orlando, FL concert, Beyonce took a crazy spill down a flight of stars on stage, but jumped up at the end of it and continued dancing. However, the damage was already done, because enterprising fans managed to get the whole incident on tape. And despite Beyonce urging the audience, "If you taped that, please don't put it on YouTube," and SonyBMG trying to pull any existing clips that have been posted, they still keep on showing up on the Internet. Personally, I think B should just treat it like the fall itself, just get up and keep dancing. Yeah, so you took a face-plant. It's not a sex-tape of you getting peed on. Be grateful for that. Unless someone took a pee on you at the end of your fall down the stairs in which case, "Eww," and "I'm sorry, yeah, that is horrible."

Beyonce on Dancing in Heels

Posted Image

Beyonce talked to the Associated Press about all sorts of subjects, her decision to employ all women on her current tour, dealing with negative press and, in an indirect way, her recent fall on-stage at a concert in Orlando. Even though, the former Destiny's Child member took a tumble down some stairs during a performance, but managed to jump and continue the show without so much as blinking an eye, her record label hunted down every single piece of embarrassing footage of the fall on the Internet to prevent its dissemination.

"The easiest part is dancing in the heels," she says. "I don't even think about it anymore; it's just second nature. But it is difficult to dance, to sing at the same time. I have to make sure I'm in shape and I'm hydrated ... I don't want to wear myself out and get exhausted."

To be fair, I can barely walk in high-heels without eating asphalt. To be honest, I can barely iron without burning myself extensively. Let's be honest here, I'm a barely functioning idiot. I didn't even write this. My trained monkey did.

Yeah, they took the video of her falling down without missing a note of what she was "singing" off the 'net. But we all know the bitch does nothing but lip-synch anyway. Better luck next time, Papa Knowles.

Go Fug Yourself

Everybody loves a disco ball. It's a wee sphere of glee. I have a small replica of one hanging from my ceiling right now, and it always makes me want either to boogie down or put on some roller skates.

I'm going to name it "Beyonce."

Because it would have been about as flattering if she'd just poked her legs and arms through an actual disco ball and worn it on-stage. Dreamgirls is over, B. Let it die with your Oscar hopes, okay?

If you’re anything like me, you were probably sitting around, looking at your wall, and thinking, “Mirror mirror on the wall, who’s the richest rap mogul of them all?” If your mirror said Jay-Z, you should give it some Windex. Jay-Z was just named the richest rapper by Forbes.com. I thought they were supposed to spend their time talking about financial markets, stocks, and making people panic over real estate. But it seems that lately, Forbes is spending the majority of their time coming out with “The richest…” lists. Last week they had “The richest bald man” and “The richest one legged farmer.” Okay not really, but I would read Forbes a lot more if they did. Okay not really.

“Jay-Z wins all around, says Forbes.com. He’s got Beyonce on his arm _ and more millions than 50 Cent and Diddy. The rap icon, aka Shawn Carter, is No. 1 on the site’s list of “Hip-Hop Cash Kings,” based solely on 2006 income. He banked an estimated $34 million, Forbes.com said Thursday.

“Jay-Z, president and CEO of Def Jam Recordings, released his 11th studio album, ‘Kingdom Come,’ which sold around 2 million copies. Jay-Z, 37, is also part owner of the New Jersey Nets and has endorsement deals with Budweiser, Hewlett-Packard and General Motors.”

[From Forbes.com]

It might be good to be Jay-Z – yeah you have a lot of money, and Beyonce at your beck and call singing that “Cater 2U” song (blech) – but you’d also have to deal with that crazy mother of hers, Tina Knowles. You know, that lady that’s always trying to drape people in the fur of live puppies? Well her clothing line is one of the few out there that still uses fur, and to me it’s all the same thing. Who else makes a lot of money and doesn’t come wit the bizarre mother?

“Curtis ‘50 Cent’ Jackson ranks second with an estimated $32 million. The 31-year-old rapper-businessman oversees his G-Unit record label, clothing line, ring tones and other enterprises, and has sold more than 11 million albums. His latest record, ‘Curtis,’ is due out Sept. 11.

“Diddy (real name: Sean Combs) placed third with an estimated $28 million. A fashion plate, he has a clothing line, Sean John, and heads Bad Boy Worldwide Entertainment and its record label. Diddy, 37, is also host of MTV’s ‘Making the Band’ series.

“Rounding out the top five are Timbaland ($21 million) and Dr. Dre ($20 million). They’re followed by Eminem ($18 million); Snoop Dogg, Kanye West, Pharrell Williams and Scott Storch (all $17 million); Ludacris and T.I. (both $16 million); Outkast and Lil Jon (both $14 million); Ice Cube ($13 million); Jermaine Dupri and Swizz Beatz (both $12 million); Chamillionaire and The Game (both $11 million); and Young Joc ($10 million).”

[From Forbes.com]

You could be at the bottom of that group and still be doing pretty well for yourself. I have no idea who Swizz Beatz (sounds like the name of a cheap watch) or any of the guys after him are, but I’m pretty sure I could learn to love them, given the chance.

Beyonce is calling on her Los Angeles-area fans to generously donate to her food drive project - the first 1,000 fans to drop off a minimum of $5 or three cans of food will receive a signed photo of the pop superstar. The Houston, Texas singer has teamed up with her hometown minister and friend, Pastor Rudy Rasmus, for the food drive before her concert at the city's Staples Center on Sunday.

Knowles' food drive has so far traveled to Houston, Atlanta, Chicago and Washington, D.C. and has collected 4,610 kilograms of food and cash donations totaling $3,800, which is enough to buy 16,000 meals.

Arroz Con Pollo

Beyonce told Latina Magazine that she wishes she was born Latin. Some people are offended by this statement, but I think it's just Beyonce kissing ass. If it was Dog Fancy, she'd say she wishes she was born a dog. Matthew Knowles probably programmed that response into her.

B said, "I'm just jealous that I wasn't born Latina. I wish I had been because the culture is so beautiful."

Homegirl should've left it at that, but she kept going.

"I noticed a big difference between speaking to all of the Latino stations and speaking to the pop stations or the other stations. With the Latino stations, there was so much love and everyone is so genuine."

Can't wait what Miss Info and Wendy Williams are going to say about this. They are going to tear her a new one. If these statements came from someone with half a brain then it would probably be a little off, but Beyonce has no idea what the hell she's talking about.

Beyoncé’s concert cancelled after protests

http://www.celebitchy.com/6290/beyoncs_con...after_protests/

Malaysia is one strict country. Recently Gwen Stefani gave a concert there in which she had to cover up from head to toe, a move she called “a major sacrifice.” But she did it for her fans (or for the cash/publicity) and the world kept spinning. Beyoncé, however, has refused to comply with the dress code, and her concert has been canceled.

“According to the rules introduced by the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage in 2005 there must be no hugging or kissing audience members or fellow artists, no jumping or shouting, no throwing objects onstage or at the audience and no foul language.

“Clothes cannot have obscene or drug-related images or messages, and female performers must show no skin from the tops of their chests to their knees.”

[From Us Weekly]

As I said when I covered the Gwen Stefani story, I’m a big “when in Rome” type. Beyoncé wears some nastily skanky outfits, in my highly-cultured opinion. I’d love it if they could force some dress code on her here, too. Some type of pledge, maybe, like “I, Beyoncé Knowles, promise never to wear anything designed by my mother, Tina Knowles. I promise never to wear anything designed by her clothing line, the House of Dereron. I pledge never to wear fur, or outfits with bizarre cutout patterns. I promise to stop exposing my armpits every chance I get.” I think that’d be fair not just to Malaysia, but to the whole world.

“Beyoncé apparently isn’t ready to restrain her jelly. Not even for the sake of her fans. The Grammy winner has canceled what was due to be her first concert in Malaysia next month, in the wake of protests over her booty-baring stage antics and increased pressure to conform to the country’s hard-line Muslim regime’s ultrastrict dress codes for female performers.

“Knowles’ International Creative Management agents, however, said the scuttled show was “due to a scheduling conflict” and nothing more. ‘It is with regret that we announce the cancellation of the Beyoncé Experience. It was to mark the very first time the performer would bring her show to Malaysia.’

“The statement confirmed Friday’s announcement by Kuala Lumpur-based concert promoter Pineapple Concerts that the plug had been pulled; Pineapple, however, declined to give a reason. The news follows an uptick in protests by several conservative groups, including the nearly 10,000-strong National Union of Malaysian Muslim Students, urging the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage to stop the concert from taking place.

“While Kuala Lumpur is a tour no-go, the singer has scheduled a gig to take place in nearby Jakarta on Nov. 1. While Indonesia is also a Muslim state, it has not set any guidelines in place for visiting performers, and Beyoncé will be able to don any of Mama Knowles’ cleavage-baring outfits she pleases and will also be able to jump, shout, curse and embrace audience members onstage—things she would not be allowed to do in Malaysia.

“Other than Stefani, acts that did recently make the highly restricted trip to the Malaysian stage include Kanye West, Earth, Wind & Fire and the Pussycat Dolls, whose promoters were fined nearly $3,000 after the girl group wore too-skimpy outfits onstage and danced in a ‘sexually suggestive’ way.”

[From E! News]

I can’t believe any country would ever let the Pussycat Dolls perform if they could find a reason to keep them out. I think they’re too slutty for pretty much everywhere… except porn. They could do well in porn. Seriously, Beyoncé, covering up a bit won’t kill you. I’m not even saying this from Malaysia’s standpoint, I just mean it in life in general. I know I’m going to sound like grandma here, but must we expose our cleavage and our legs and our arms and our butt? Can’t it just be about the performance, instead of your booty? I mean I know the booty is nice, but will keeping it under wraps for just one night be so hard?

Beyonce in a burka?

God forbid!

Beyonce Knowles won't be baring her booty in Malaysia after she refused to bow to radical Muslim student demands that she keep it covered.

Music industry sources said that Pineapple Concerts canceled her Nov. 1 Kuala Lampur gig because Beyonce balked.

Officially, the Grammy-winning singer's agents say the cancelation was "due to a scheduling conflict."

Pineapple Concerts Chairman Razlan Ahmad Razali, noting he was "disappointed and frustrated," made clear the Islamic strictures were really to blame.

Western performers face mounting pressure in Malaysia to keep skimpy clothes and steamy dance moves off the stage amid protests by conservative Muslims who believe liberals can corrupt young people.

Gwen Stefani made what she called "a major sacrifice" in August by wearing clothes that revealed little skin at a Kuala Lumpur concert after Muslim students and activists called for the performance to be canceled due to her sultry reputation.

Beyonce don't play that.

Instead, she will perform in Jakarta, Indonesia, Razali said.

"Though Indonesia is also a Muslim country, it doesn't have all these issues that we have," he said. "She can perform as she likes there."

Amen.

Jermaine Dupri Launches Tell-All Book

In his dishy new memoir, Young, Rich, and Dangerous: The Making of A Music Mogul, Jermaine Dupri looks back on his successful producing career and the big names he worked with – to say nothing of the one singer who stole his heart: Janet Jackson.

At Monday night's Manhattan launch of the book, the 35-year-old hip-hop impresario and rapper, with a very svelte Jackson at his side, told PEOPLE: "I'm excited. I get to add the title 'author' to my titles, I guess. ... I can't wait to get to a bookstore and see it tomorrow."

Besides Jackson – who said of her boyfriend's book, "I think it's awesome" – also at the hotspot Marquee to help celebrate the newly published author: rapper Nas and wife Kelis, Boyz II Men and Joey Fatone, who told PEOPLE, "I haven't read the book, but I am excited to read it."

When it comes to having Jackson, 41, with him on his big night, Dupri said that they're always together, "so it's meant to be. … We just have fun."

As for what's next, Dupri said he's about "to finish her album, finish Mariah's album, finish Usher's album. I just did two songs on Jay Z's new album, Nelly, Murphy Lee. Just ... planning for all these records to come out at the first of the year."

In the meantime, there's Young, Rich, and Dangerous: The Making of A Music Mogul, excerpts from which follow here.

On Usher

[in 1997] Usher was a far cry from the sex symbol he became. It was always in him. But that side of him was buried deep. Puberty had been rough on him. He had bad skin until my mom hooked him up with a dermatologist who could take care of his problem. He was spending so much time moped out and not working on himself that he was all skinny. All he ate was junk food. Usher could inhale a box of Krispy Kremes in less than an hour. He was living on greasy s--- like burgers and fried chicken. When he came to my house my mom made us Sloppy Joes and he said he'd never had them before. Home cooking was such a treat, he grabbed the last one!

On Mariah Carey

Even though Mariah always considered herself to be first and foremost a black woman, everyone at the label was scared of her being too urban. She's far from some 'hood rat, but she's definitely a lil' ghetto and she was tired of being the "ballad queen."

On Jay-Z

Gambling is how I bond with people. ... Me and Jay-Z bet on basketball games all the time. One time I lost $15,000 to him. The next week, when he saw me backstage before a performance, the first thing he asked me was, 'Where's my money?' I handed him over a fat wad of Benjamins and stood there while he counted. He ended up spraying most of the bills at the audience when he was onstage.

On Janet Jackson

Life with Janet is just real normal. When we hang out, we hang out at home. She's a homebody. We don't want to be out on the road all the time. ... We drive around the city and watch people. We get take-out. We buy strawberry smoothies from Smoothie King. We watch our shows, The Sopranos and Entourage. If Jan's around on weekends and holidays we hang out with my [9-year-old] daughter, Shaniah."

NEW YORK - Wait a minute, didn't Jay-Z say he was retiring TWO albums ago?

"I want to never say that again," the 37-year-old rap mogul says in XXL magazine's new issue. "Just make the albums, man. And if one day people wake up and it's four years later, and you haven't made another, they go, `Wait a minute, you're retired!' I think that's best for me."

"I think I pulled the retirement ripcord too many times. People looking at me like, `Please shut up.' I was looking at (his retirement movie) `Fade to Black' the other day. I was embarrassed. I couldn't watch. I'm not playing with you. I had to turn it off," he says. "I was cringing."

Jay's new project is an album about his hustling days, inspired by the upcoming film "American Gangster." That places him in competition with hot rappers of the moment — like Lil Wayne, who after Jay "retired" proclaimed himself the "greatest rapper alive."

"I think Lil Wayne is extremely talented," Jay says. "I think he's one of the most talented ones out there. I mean, even more so how his delivery is than what he says. I don't think some of the things he says sometimes are the greatest things, but the way he delivers it, that's part of it."

"But do I think me and Lil Wayne should be in the same sentence? Me? No," Jay says. "I mean, hopefully one day. He has to accumulate work. Put some classics under his belt."

A superstar girlfriend like Beyonce wouldn't hurt as an equalizer.

"I think people are only interested in (a relationship) three times: When you get together, when you break up, and when you have a baby," Jay says. "They don't have good intentions. People just want to manipulate the situation to benefit them. I think relationships are broken up because of the media."

Jay-Z's Early Retirement Plans an Embarrassment

Rap mogul Jay-Z is embarrassed by his announcement to retire from the music industry.

The hip-hop star, 36, celebrated his "retirement" with a gig at Madison Square Gardens in New York City four years ago.

The concert later became the centerpiece of the documentary film "Fade to Black" -- and Jay cannot bear to watch it.

He tells MTV, "I want to never say that again ... people looking at me like, 'Please shut up.' I was looking at 'Fade to Black' the other day. I was embarrassed. ... I'm not playing with you. I had to turn it off. I was cringing."

His new CD, "American Gangster," is released later this year. It will be his second album release since his retirement.

Jay-Z Is Triumphant! Brit Falls....

Posted Image

Jay-Z's album "American Gangster" sold 425,000 last week debuting him at #1. Unfortunately, Brit didn't have such a good week. "Blackout" fell from #2 to #7 with only 87,000 copies. She slipped 70%. Eeek!

Jay-Z now ties with Elvis for second place for the most #1 albums. The Beatles hold the top spot with 19 albums.

The Eagles fell from #1 to #2. Here's how the chart looked:

Who needs a hit album when you have a new body? Right, Brit. I'm still surprised it's sold 1 copy!

Jay-Z Leapfrogs Eagles, Britney For No. 1 Debut

Jay-Z scores his 10th No. 1 album on The Billboard 200, as "American Gangster" (Def Jam) debuts on top this week after selling 425,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The rapper thus ties Elvis Presley in second place for the most No. 1 albums on the chart; only the Beatles have had more, with 19.

Since 1998, all eight of Jay-Z's solo studio albums have hit No. 1, in addition to his "Collision Course" project with Linkin Park and his "Unfinished Business" collaboration with R. Kelly.

After bowing at No. 1 last week, the Eagles' "Long Road Out of Eden" (Eagles Recording Co.) slips to No. 2 with 359,000, a 49% sales decrease. Garth Brooks' "The Ultimate Hits" (Pearl) debuts at No. 3 after shifting 352,000 units. Brooks' last studio set, 2001's "Scarecrow," debuted at No. 1 with 466,000. His only releases since then have been Wal-Mart exclusives and were thus not eligible to appear on The Billboard 200.

Teenaged R&B heartthrob Chris Brown starts at No. 4 with his sophomore Jive album, "Exclusive," which sold 294,000. His self-titled 2005 debut opened at No. 2 with 154,000. "Exclusive" features Brown's recent Hot 100 chart-topper, "Kiss Kiss," featuring T-Pain.

Carrie Underwood's 19 Recordings/Arista Nashville set "Carnival Ride" falls 3-5 with 121,000 (-29%), while Josh Groban's holiday album, "Noel" (143/Reprise), ascends 8-6 with a 52% sales increase to 116,000.

Selling 87,000 copies, Britney Spears' "Blackout" (Jive) slips 2-7 with a 70% sales hit in its second week. At No. 8, Taylor Swift's self-titled Big Machine debut flies from No. 26 with a 156% sales increase (68,000) in its 55th week. The boost came with the album's DVD-enhanced reissue and her Horizon award win at the recent CMA Awards.

Angels & Airwaves' second Geffen album, "I-Empire," begins at No. 9 with 66,000. The band's first set, "We Don't Need to Whisper," bowed higher, at No. 4, with 127,000 in May 2006.

His first album since completing jail time and surviving a near-fatal car accident in 2006, Cassidy's Full Surface/J set "B.A.R.S. The Barry Adrian Reese Story" begins at No. 10 after shifting 63,000. His sophomore release, 2005's "I'm a Hustla," started at No. 5 with 93,000.

Other big debuts this week include Latin reggaeton duo Wisin & Yandel's "Wisin Vs. Yandel: Los Extraterrestres" (Machete) at No. 14 with 53,000, country quartet Little Big Town's "Place to Land" (Equity Music Group) at No. 24 with 35,000, the Def Jam score/soundtrack to "American Gangster" at No. 36 with 21,000 and the Starbucks Entertainment holiday compilation "Stockings by the Fire" at No. 43 with 18,000.

Album sales are up 7.5% from last week at 9.95 million units and down 16.8% from the same week in 2006 (11.95 million).

Beyonce Knowles looked stunning in a shimmering green fishtail number at a glitzy Hollywood bash, although it was clearly hard to breathe in its constricting grasp.

The bootilicious singer looked positively fit to burst out of her designer frock, which hugged her extremely curvaceous figure.

But even she had to concede to practicality, as she changed into a less restricting yellow number when she took to the stage to perform.

The 25-year-old diva worked the red carpet at the Movies Rock event, a TV special that will pay tribute to some of music's most iconic moments in film.

Also at the show, which was at the Kodak Theatre, was Jennifer Lopez, who revelled in showing off her baby bump.

Jay-Z Denies Contract Delays Come Down to Money

Hip-hop mogul Jay-Z has blasted reports the delays in renewing his current record contract are being caused by arguments over his salary.

The rapper -- real name Shawn Carter -- is currently in negotiations to secure his attachment to Def Jam records, a subsidiary of Universal, but an agreement has yet to be reached.

Rumors of a label change have been rife in the music industry after Jay-Z was reported to be unhappy with Def Jam following the appointment of producer/performer Jermaine Dupri as the president of their urban music division in February this year.

But the star insists he is not holding out for more cash.

He tells MTV.com, "We'll see how it goes. But seriously, it's not about money. That's really the last thing. Of course you want to be compensated for what you do. But it's really not about money.

"It's really about the future of the music business, and not wasting anyone's time. I don't ever want to sit in a seat just to sit in a seat. I could be off doing something else that's beneficial to the future of the music business as well as myself. So it's not about money! I mean, you couldn't pay me enough. And I don't mean that in a cocky way
