Their marriage may be a thing of the past, but Jude Law and Sadie Frost still share a deep passion -- for squabbling in public. The Daily Mirror reports the former lovebirds, who divorced last October after six years of marriage, recently had "the mother of all bust-ups" outside Jude's London mansion.

 

Sadie, 37, who lives around the corner in the luxury digs they once shared, reportedly turned up at her ex's pad late at night, accompanied by boytoy Jackson Scott, and began banging on the door, demanding to be let in.

 

The reason? There were "things she needed to discuss with him."

 

The "Cold Mountain" looker, 31, who is currently shacking up with his 22-year-old "What's It All About, Alfie?" co-star Sienna Miller, was obviously not eager for a heart-to-heart and refused to open up. Sadie didn't take the shut-out well.

 

"She was screaming and shouting at him and even Jackson was chipping in," an insider blabs to the paper. "It was one of the ugliest arguments they've had for ages." Or at least since last June, when a nanny called the cops after the estranged pair reportedly engaged in a particularly ferocious fracas. No charges were filed.

 

Once Frost, er, chilled out, the regret set in. "Sadie hates the fact that she was washing her dirty laundry in public," says the spy. "[she] feels embarrassed by the whole thing, but as far as she is concerned it wouldn't have ever happened if Jude had let her in." The insider claims the couple's arguments always seem to involve their three kids: "They are both doting parents who want to spend as much time with the children as possible. Naturally, this causes a lot of friction."

 

A lawyer for Law explains to the Mirror, "I can confirm an argument did take place on the steps of Jude's home. But it has now been resolved and everything is working out smoothly."
