Charlie Sheen and his wife are due in court Monday amid domestic violence allegations. They'll be arriving separately and only the judge can determine if they can leave together.

 

The star of TV's "Two and a Half Men" faces arraignment on his Christmas Day domestic violence arrest at his Aspen home involving his wife, Brooke. He is expected to enter a plea.

 

But the Sheens, who have twin baby sons, will also ask Pitkin County District Court Judge James B. Boyd to modify a restraining order in place since the arrest.

 

Their attorneys say they want Boyd to throw out or revise the order that prevents them from contacting each other. Such protection orders are standard in cases of alleged domestic violence.

 

Prosecutors have opposed the request. But through attorneys, the two have said they would like to be able to spend time with each other so they can reconcile.

 

Boyd could vacate or add conditions that could possibly even let them leave court together.

 

Boyd did allow Sheen to visit his wife in a Los Angeles hospital last month, where she was admitted with a high fever and an infection following oral surery.

 

The actor is scheduled to enter a plea in his Dec. 25 arrest on suspicion of felony menacing, second-degree assault and criminal mischief.

 

A police officer's arrest affidavit quoted Brooke Sheen as saying the actor pinned her on a bed while holding a knife to her throat and told her that she "better be in fear."

 

The officer said Brooke Sheen reported her husband also told her that he could hire ex-police "who know how to get the job done and they won't leave any trace."

 

Charlie Sheen denies threatening or hitting his wife, but told police that he broke two pairs of her eyeglasses in front of her.

 

In an audio recording of a 911 call, a woman who identifies herself as Brooke tells the dispatcher that Charlie Sheen threatened her with a knife and added, "I thought I was gonna die for one hour."

 

She said at least five times during the four-minute call that she wanted to file a report. "It's happened before," she said, according to the affidavit.

 

But Yale Galanter, Brooke Sheen's attorney, has said she hired him "because she is a witness against her husband and she wants him to continue being her husband."

 

He called it "a very interesting legal conundrum.... Events occurred. She gave a sworn statement to a law enforcement officer. She wants to work on her marriage and she wants to honor her legal obligations."

Charlie Sheen Fights For Marriage

 

Charlie Sheen is having "intense" therapy.

 

The 'Two and a Half Men' star is reportedly determined to sort out his problems and get his relationship with Brooke Mueller - who he is accused of assaulting on Christmas Day (25.12.09) - back on track after a judge modified a restraining order against him yesterday (08.02.10) so the couple can live together again.

 

A source told the Chicago Sun-Times newspaper: "Charlie and Brooke already are going through intense marriage counselling and Charlie has been very religious about attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings and serious anger management counselling.

 

"He's telling everyone that he is going to do everything he can to make it work - and last."

 

The restraining order which was put in place after the actor was charged with felony menacing and misdemeanour charges of third-degree assault and criminal mischief, has now been lifted on the condition the 44-year-old star does not drink alcohol, is in possession of guns or harasses his wife.

 

Brooke's attorney, Yale Galanter, said the couple - who have ten-month-old twin sons Bob and Max - had hugged and kissed in Pitkin County Courthouse after yesterday's hearing before leaving separately, but planned to return to their Los Angeles home together.

 

He said: "I can tell you, Brooke very badly wanted to have contact with Charlie. There are many children's issues she wanted to communicate with him about.

 

"Brooke's desire was to get the order modified so they could have contact and communicate because of their children. Judge Boyd was gracious enough to grant that and now Charlie and Brooke are on their way back to Los Angeles to continue their lives."

 

The couple - who married in 2008 - are said to be keen to rebuild their marriage, and have asked prosecutors to drop the case.

 

The actor but did not enter a plea yesterday but is due back in court on March 15.

Judge says Charlie Sheen can see wife

 

A judge has modified a protective order allowing actor Charlie Sheen and his wife, Brooke, to see each other as Sheen faces domestic violence allegations.

 

Prosecutors filed charges of felony menacing, third-degree assault and criminal mischief against Sheen stemming from his arrest Dec. 25 at his Aspen home. He faces up to three years in prison on the menacing charge.

 

He did not enter a plea Monday. Further proceedings are scheduled March 15.

 

Brooke Sheen sat in the front row of the gallery during the hearing.

 

The couple hugged after the hearing and left the courthouse in separate vehicles.

 

Brooke Sheen's attorney, Yale Galanter, said the couple will head back to Los Angeles on the same plane.

No Rehab For Sheen

 

A representative for CHARLIE SHEEN has dismissed rumours the actor signed up for rehab in the wake of his bust-up with wife BROOKE MUELLER.

 

The couple is currently attempting to repair its relationship following the Christmas Day (25Dec09) fight that left Sheen facing criminal charges.

 

Mueller recently spent a week recuperating from an infection and pneumonia at a North Carolina health clinic, and her husband was reported to have signed up for outpatient rehab on Wednesday (10Feb10).

 

But a spokesperson for the Two and a Half Men star is adamant the actor is not receiving any such treatment.

 

The rep tells Access Hollywood, "Charlie Sheen is not headed for rehab."

Child Services Visits Sheen and Mueller

 

 

A child services official has visited Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller, according to E! Online.

 

The Los Angeles County child services sent an investigator to the home of the Two And A Half Men star on Sunday. The actor and wife Mueller have twin boys together.

 

"It was a short visit," a source said. "It was over something that's been happening over the last two weeks."

 

Mueller is currently in rehab for substance abuse, while Sheen faces criminal charges for the couple's Christmas Day argument, in which he allegedly threatened to kill his wife.

 

Sheen will be back in court on March 15 for his arraignment.

Charlie Sheen Plans Work Return

 

The 'Two and a Half Men' actor is expected to resume filming the comedy show next week, after he completes a stint in rehab for alleged problems with cocaine and alcohol.

 

Charlie is expected to leave the facility - which he entered on February 23 - in the coming days and according to his publicist will return to his show by Friday next week (19.03.10).

 

The actor is also scheduled to appear in court on Monday (15.03.10) to answer domestic abuse charges stemming from his arrest on Christmas Day last year (25.12.09) after a fight with his wife Brooke Mueller.

 

Charlie has been charged with menacing, misdemeanor assault and criminal mischief against his wife.

 

The 44-year-old actor was urged to enter rehab by friends and family for the sake of Bob and Max, his and Brooke's 11-month-old twin sons.

 

A source said: "Charlie has relapsed into using both alcohol and cocaine and simply couldn't put off entering rehab any longer."

 

Producers of the show have said previously shown their support for the star, issuing a statement, saying: "We wish him nothing but the best as he deals with this personal matter".

 

Earlier in February a judge modified a restraining order between Brooke and Charlie, to allow them to work out their differences.

Tom Arnold defends 'target' Charlie Sheen

 

Film funnyman Tom Arnold has defended his pal Charlie Sheen - insisting the star is a "target" for false allegations due to his controversial past.

 

Sheen was arrested on Christmas last year after a bust-up with wife Brooke Mueller. He was charged with third-degree assault, menacing, and criminal mischief, and is due back in court in Colorado on Monday, March 15.

 

He has since undergone treatment at a recovery facility as a "preventative measure," while his wife also went into rehab.

 

But Arnold, who has battled alcohol and drugs since he was a teenager and is now celebrating 20 years of sobriety, insists he finds it hard to believe Sheen could be violent towards Mueller.

 

He tells Larry King, "Addiction - being drunk could lead to violence. It can. I'm not saying it was Charlie. I love Charlie. I know Charlie. I don't believe anything that I've read about what happened with Charlie. You know, I think he's been open about he and his father, about his situation. I know he's worked real hard on it. I've never heard any of the violence attached to it.

 

"That's the thing. If you're like me, and people know you were once a drug addict - they can Google my name - they can accuse me of anything... It doesn't matter. You are a target. Charlie Sheen is a very good target."

 

In 1998, Sheen fell out with his actor father Martin after he reported the star for violating his parole. Sheen was on two years probation for attacking a girlfriend when he allegedly overdosed after injecting cocaine.

Charlie Sheen has reportedly quit his hit sitcom "Two & a Half Men" after seven seasons.

 

The troubled actor has no plans to return for the show's eighth season, according to People.com, and has refused to sign a new contract extending his stay on the comedy, which also stars Jon Cryer.

 

A source says, "Charlie's just done and he's quietly telling his friends he's not coming back. He wants to move on."

 

Sheen has had a tough start to 2010 following a Christmas Day fight with his wife Brooke Mueller.

 

The actor, who faces domestic violence charges, entered rehab on February 24.

NY Post: Police called after Charlie Sheen trashes room at The Plaza Hotel

 

 

Cops were called to a midtown hotel early today after a drunk and naked Charlie Sheen had trashed his suite, authorities said.

Security at The Plaza Hotel on Fifth Avenue called police just after 2 a.m. where they found Sheen, sources told The Post.

 

Tables and chairs had been thrown around the room and a chandelier was also damaged, sources said.

 

"The Two and a Half Men" star was accompanied to New York Hospital by his ex-wife Denise Richards, who was staying in a separate room.

Sheen, 45, told police he had been "out partying," sources said.

Sheen, 45, told police he had been "out partying," according to the Post.

 

After he returned to his room with an unidentified woman, he noticed his wallet was missing and he lost it, sources told the Post.

TMZ has obtained pictures of the New York City hotel room Charlie Sheen trashed early Tuesday morning, along with information about what happened inside.

 

We're told Charlie's alcohol-fueled rampage began at a restaurant called Daniel, near The Plaza Hotel where Charlie was staying. He, three other men and five women had an 8:00 PM reservation Tuesday night and Charlie was drinking heavily. Denise Richards, we're told, went to the dinner but left fairly quickly after things got wild.

 

Charlie brought one of the women back to his hotel room and soon thereafter people on his floor heard what they say was primal screaming and swearing from inside the room. Charlie was calling the woman a whore and other names, when people started to complain.

 

We're told Charlie ripped the curtains, overturned tables, damaged a lighting fixture and broke glass, which cut his toe open.

 

All in all ... a real mess.
