Christina Milian Sued over Vicious Dog Attack

Christina Milian's 81-year-old neighbor claims he was mauled by one of her dogs back in 2008 -- and now the man wants Christina to pay for the canine's alleged brutality.

Leo Skolion filed a lawsuit against Christina and family earlier this month in L.A. County Superior Court, claiming the family's negligence lead to the attack that left him with "severe personal injuries."

Leo tells TMZ it all started in October of '08, when Christina's home had "flooding problems" which caused a gate between their properties to become damaged.

Leo says he went over to speak to the family about repairing the gate when one of their dogs escaped ... then attacked him from behind and bit "a huge chunk" out of the back of his arm.

The 81-year-old claims it took 19 stitches and 9 months of rehabilitation to get back to normal -- and that he still has to receive psychiatric help for fear and depression.

Leo is suing Christina -- real name Christine Flores -- her mother Carmen and her sister Danielle for an undetermined amount.

Calls to Christina's camp have not been returned.

Dr. Dre Sues Suge Knightless Death Row Records

Dr. Dre claims it's been 14 years since he's seen a penny from his game changing record, "The Chronic" -- and he's belatedly waging a war against the new Death Row Records.

Why you ask would the good Dr. wait so long? We're guessing there's a fear factor that has evaporated since Suge Knight is out of the picture.

Dre filed the federal lawsuit against WIDEawake Death Row -- which was created after Death Row filed for bankruptcy last year.

In the lawsuit, Dre claims he stopped getting checks from the label after he cut and ran in '96.

Dre says the new Death Row has been making lots of money by selling digital copies of "Chronic," "Chronic Re-Lit" and his greatest hits album without permission.

Dre is suing for $75,000 minimum.

DMX arrested

Rapper DMX has been arrested in Arizona, according to a new report.

The star was taken into custody after allegedly violating the terms of his probation by using illegal drugs -- and now his lawyer has issued a public plea for help to TV drug counselor Dr. Drew Pinsky.

DMX's attorney Gary Jenkins tells TMZ.com, "He's been battling addiction for some time and he's in need of treatment. We're hoping that maybe Dr. Drew might be able to help him. He's a talented man. ... We're praying for him."

DMX spent time in jail last year on charges of drug possession, animal cruelty and theft, stemming from various arrests in 2008.

After his release last May he was sentenced to 18 months probation for verbally threatening a guard during his stint in prison.

The Game wants 'gangster' references wiped from lawsuit

The Game has filed legal papers in a bid to have all references to him as a "gangster rapper" removed from an ongoing lawsuit.

The hip-hop star - real name Jayceon Taylor - was arrested in 2007 for possessing a firearm in a school zone following an altercation on a Los Angeles basketball court. He pleaded no contest to the charge, served eight days in jail and carried out community service as part of his sentence.

But Taylor is facing civil action from basketball coach Shannon Rodrick, who filed suit in 2008 accusing the rapper of punching and threatening him during the incident.

The "Dreams" hitmaker's lawyers have now filed papers asking for all 86 references to the star as a "gangster" or "gangster rapper" in the suit to be removed over fears the moniker will prejudice the case, according to TMZ.com.

Taylor's attorneys have also asked for no mention of his lyrics during the hearings, because they contain profanity and references to violence.

Producer files $30M suit against Lady Gaga in NYC

A songwriter and music producer who claims he helped launch pop star Lady Gaga says she squeezed him out of her lucrative career after he co-wrote some of her songs, came up with her stage name and helped get her record deal.

Rob Fusari filed a $30.5 million lawsuit against the Grammy Award-winning performer, saying his protege and former girlfriend ditched him as her career soared.

"All business is personal," said the lawsuit, filed Wednesday in a Manhattan state court.

Lady Gaga's spokesman, Dave Tomberlin, didn't immediately respond to an e-mail sent Thursday by The Associated Press.

Fusari had credits on such hits as Will Smith's "Wild, Wild West" and Destiny's Child's "Bootylicious" when a friend steered the piano-playing singer — then known by her real name, Stefani Germanotta — to him in March 2006, according to his lawsuit.

Though he initially dismissed her, he realized she had star potential after hearing her play in his Parsippany, New Jersey, studio, the suit said. He spent the next several months working with her every day and "radically reshaping her approach," persuading her to drop rock riffs for dance beats, it said.

As they co-wrote songs such as "Paparazzi" and "Beautiful, Dirty, Rich," which would appear on her debut album, "The Fame," he transformed Germanotta into Lady Gaga, a name adapted from Queen's "Radio Ga Ga," the lawsuit said.

In a 2009 interview with the AP, Lady Gaga said her "realization of Gaga was five years ago, but Gaga's always been who I am."

"I was Gaga from the time that I was 19 through my first record deal," the 23-year-old said of her over-the-top, avant-garde style, which has captured the imaginations of millions of fans. "I always dressed like that before people knew me as Lady Gaga. I was always that way ... I stuck out like a sore thumb."

According to the lawsuit, Lady Gaga and Fusari's relationship turned romantic and then became a business partnership in May 2006, when they created a joint venture called Team Love Child LLC to promote her career. Fusari's share was 20 percent, it said.

Fusari — whose account of his role in the multiplatinum-selling artist's early career has been told in interviews — says he introduced Lady Gaga to a record executive who ultimately shepherded her to Universal Music Group's Interscope Records, which released "The Fame" in 2008. The album has sold more than 3 million copies in the United States; Fusari has a producing credit.

But the lawsuit says their personal and business relationship had soured by then and he has been denied a 20 percent share of song royalties, 15 percent of merchandising revenue and other money he's owed. He acknowledges getting checks for about $611,000 but says that isn't his full share.

Lady Gaga won two Grammys in January: best dance recording, for "Poker Face," and best electronic/dance album, for "The Fame."

Erykah Badu charged over Dallas nude video shoot

Neosoul singer Erykah Badu faces a disorderly conduct charge for her nude music video shoot in downtown Dallas' Dealey Plaza, officials announced Friday.

Badu, a Dallas native, performed a walking striptease in front of tourists and pedestrians during the March 13 shoot for Badu's "Window Seat" music video. The performance ended with a nude Badu acting out receiving a fatal gunshot to the head at the spot where President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in 1963.

Sgt. Warren Mitchell said Friday the decision to cite Badu for disorderly conduct — a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of up to $500 — came after witness Ida Espinosa, 32, of Vernon, offered a sworn statement to police Thursday. Espinosa declined to comment to The Associated Press on Friday.

"Having a fact witness that was there is what let us file the charges," Mitchell said. "After much discussion, we feel that these charges best fit her conduct. She disrobed in a public place without regard to individuals and small children who were close by."

Mitchell said the department has had "people calling from all across the country to express their concern."

Mitchell said Badu can either fight the charge or pay the fine. He said a citation would be mailed to the singer.

Carla Sims, a spokeswoman for Badu, had no immediate comment Friday.

Erykah Badu charged with disorderly conduct for video strip

Dallas police officials have charged Erykah Badu with disorderly conduct after a female bystander officially complained about the singer's public nudity in a controversial new video.

The R&B star performed a full striptease in front of stunned strangers as she walked along Dealey Plaza, where President John F. Kennedy was assassinated. The footage appears in her new "Window Seat" video.

The promo has prompted debate online with fans applauding her bravery, but one woman who watched Badu bare all was far from impressed, and now her official complaint has landed the singer in big trouble.

A statement from the police on Friday, April 2, reads, "The City Attorney's Office and the Dallas Police Department have decided to charge the entertainer known as Erika (sic) Badu with Disorderly Conduct. After much discussion, it has been determined that this charge best fits her conduct when she disrobed in a public place without disregard to other individuals and children who were in close proximity.

"Disorderly Conduct is a class C misdemeanor, which means Ms. Badu will be subject to a fine up to $500.00.

"The At-Large-Citation will be mailed to Ms. Badu in the near future. It will be up to her as to how she wants to proceed further with this case. She can contest it in a court of law or simply pay the fine.

"The delay in issuing the citation was due to the lack of witnesses, who were at the scene, who were willing to come forward and file a formal complaint with the police department. One witness did come forward yesterday."
