princess 1,710 Report post Posted December 29, 2008 Jessica Alba airbrushed in Campari calendar timworstall Jessica Alba is not the woman we thought she was! Turns out Miss Alba has been airbrushed for the 2009 Campari calendar shots. I am a little hurt but also slightly relieved. I did wonder how she could look that good after giving birth only a few months before. Turns out she is a little more rounded than the calendar would have us believe. Naughty Jessica for not being true to her body.
schumibabe 0 Report post Posted June 2, 2009 Couldn't find a "celebs without facepaint" thread but I thought this one was closest. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/woman...ticleId=2453405 There's way too many to copy but here are a few of the more interesting ones: Helena Christensen: JLo: Kate Hudson: Calista Flockhart: Kate Moss: Sharon Stone: She Who Is Too Pretty To Get Movie Parts (aka Jessica Biel): BobbyD's #1 girl: Heidi Klum: There were the odd ones (Gwynnie, Cindy Crawford and maybe one or two more) who didn't actually look scary without the make up but with the majority of them I had to look at the name to see who they were! theempress 80 Report post Posted June 2, 2009 I thought Charlize Theron looked great without makeup, too. I also think Jessica Simpson is much cuter without all of her makeup.

Hihomumio 168 Report post Posted June 2, 2009 I think almost all of them look pretty good. Goldie is getting a bit long in the tooth but if she is comfortable with herself then I guess I'm fine with that. I did think Kate Moss is pretty harsh looking for someone her age---her druggie history shows in her face.

schumibabe 0 Report post Posted August 7, 2009 Michael K: http://www.meekermuseum.com/schoeff2.jpg Thursday, August 6th 2009 The Opposite Of Sans Fards This is 51-year-old Sharon Stone with her chichis out on the cover of Paris Match. In case you couldn't tell, they used a whole lot of fards for these pictures. Fards everywhere! Fards on her face! Fards on her hair! Fards on her teefs! Fards on her elbows! Fards on her titty sacks! Fards on her nipples! Fards on her pussy bone! Fards! Fards! Fards! They also used a whole lot of le Photoshop. They really brought the Pshop fuckery American-style! I'm surprised her nipples aren't pixelated. Now, I'm not doubting that Sharon Stone has a hot body, but she does not have skin like a brand new mannequin out of the factory. Warning: Clicking on some of the thumbnails below may result in a cougar nipple hitting you in the face. Posted by: Michael K Judging by the fourth pic they didn't just airbrush her, they swept her out of the studio and took photos of someone else!
Persiaa 0 Report post Posted August 7, 2009 I agree with the assessment of the 4th photo-I was thinking she probably does look pretty good, but the head shot was way too retouched.

princess 1,710 Report post Posted January 6, 2010 Jennifer Hawkins poses nude with no airbrushing Miss Universe 2004 and model Jennifer Hawkins agreed to pose nude and un-airbrushed on the cover of February's Australian Marie Claire, but some are slamming the magazine's anti-Photoshopping efforts, claiming Hawkins does not represent real women. Editor Jackie Frank told The Australian that the images were inspired by a survey of 5500 readers, which showed that only 12 percent of women were truly happy with their bodies. Marie Claire put Hawkins on the cover to make a positive statement about body image and the photographs of Hawkins will be auctioned later this month, with the proceeds donated to the Butterfly Foundation, an eating disorders support group. In the interview, Hawkins says, "I'm not a stick figure--I thought it would be great to tell women to just be themselves and be confident." But the cover sparked an outcry from Marie Claire readers such as "She wants to make [women] feel more comfortable about how they look, gee thanks, I now feel worse! I'm a size 10 and I still have more rolls than her!" and "If anything is going to have me running to the toilet with my finger down my throat it's a picture of Jennifer Hawkins naked." The Butterfly Foundation's general manager Julie Parker pointed out Hawkins flaws, including her dimpled thigh, creased waist and skin-tone changes. Parker told The Age that photographing an average Australian woman wouldn't have worked. "The thing is unfortunately it doesn't make the same point, because Jennifer sells magazines and she creates awareness. If 'Marie Claire' had chosen to put on their cover an ordinary women, say myself or a friend of yours, it would not have created the awareness it does." princess 1,710 Report post Posted April 7, 2010 [ PIC: Jessica Simpson Poses Without Makeup for Marie Claire Wednesday – April 07, 2010 – 9:54am US Magazine Glamour girl? For the May cover of Marie Claire, Jessica Simpson went without makeup or retouching. The reason: To promote her new initiative, "A Beautiful Me," a program she is launching next month to encourage young women to love themselves and feel comfortable in their own skin. "I don't have anything to prove anymore," says the singer, 29, who once admitted to getting too much Restylane in her lips. "What other people think of me is not my business."' Still, she tells the magazine she likes to get dolled up every once in a while. "If I'm in a mood to go out and feel hot and sexy, I want long hair that I can feel on my back," she says. "But I also like bed head." Although Simpson said she was thrilled to shoot VH1's The Price of Beauty -- which centers on her world travels to discover how other cultures define beauty -- viewers aren't responding. Her show's March debut attracted around 1 million people, getting beat by a show on The History Channel.

socrates171 0 Report post Posted April 8, 2010 They look pretty scary to me is what they look. (Bear in mind that I am not a fan of makeup and think most women look better sans maquillage.) In some images Gwyneth looks a lot like her paternal grandmother, Barbara, who was a very beautiful, and very nice, woman. I wonder what went wrong here. My father coached Barbara and her husband Stuart in the debating team at Hofstra and they were our lawyers until they retired. On a related topic, while I usually try like all getout to avoid even a glimpse of DWTS, sometimes my daughter surfs past it looking for something tolerable and we spot Kate Gosselin, all besequined. With or without makeup, she is extra scary as she blitzkreigs toward her partner (and the camera, i.e. us) like a Panzerkampfwagen II tank - with all of the grace that this implies. princess 1,710 Report post Posted April 14, 2010 Britney's Unretouched Photos From Candie's Ads http://jezebel.com/5516186/britneys-unreto...ne=true&s=i Britney Spears has released the original images from her most recent Candie's photo shoot along with the Photoshopped final ads. According to the Daily Mail Brit wants "to highlight the pressure exerted on women to look perfect." Granted, The Daily Mail doesn't actually quote any official statement from Britney on why she's released the photos, just an unnamed source who says, "Britney is proud of her body — imperfections and all." The photos are credited to Candie's and the photo agency Splash. No matter who specifically put them out there, we're still looking. As helpfully pointed out by the gigantic arrows, in the final images Britney's calves and thighs have been made slimmer, some barely-visible cellulite has been removed from the back of her thighs, and tattoos and bruises have been airbrushed. The Daily Mail calls Britney "brave" for releasing the pics — and she definitely deserves some applause (if this was her doing). But it's worth noting that Britney is still benefiting from some serious vanity lighting in the un-retouched photos, and lighting goes a long way with this stuff (see: Jessica Simpson). And we definitely see more of Britney than in Jessica's semi-obscured, makeup-free photos in Marie Claire; it's great to see stars acknowledging that their perfect image is a fabrication. However, we'll save the "brave" label for the celebrity who demands that only the non-Photoshopped images be released.
theempress 80 Report post Posted April 14, 2010 That's a recent photo shoot? Wow. I think they airbrushed off about twenty pounds. Not that the pre-photoshop photos are all that bad; she just looks human. I saw the ad somewhere recently, and my first thought was that they dug out some old photos for the ad campaign, because it has been many years since she was that thin. princess 1,710 Report post Posted April 16, 2010 people.com Following in the footsteps of Jessica Simpson’s makeup-free Marie Claire cover, Kim Kardashian is baring her famous assets in an all-natural, unretouched photo spread for Harper’s Bazaar. Though her curves have become just as notorious as her dating life, Kim doesn’t see what all the commotion is about. “I don’t get why everyone is always going on about my butt,” says Kim. “I’m Armenian. It’s normal. My butt is probably not as big as you might think, because I have small legs and a small waist, which makes it appear bigger.” In fact, growing up, it wasn’t her notorious behind that caused Kim concern. “I was wearing a C cup by the time I was 11,” the star recalls. “I would go to bed and pray, ‘Please, Lord, don’t let my boobs grow any bigger.’ I hated what was happening.” Now, Kim hopes her confidence can empower other curvy ladies. “The message [of this shoot] is embrace your curves and who you are. I feel proud if young girls look up to me and say, ‘I’m curvy, and I’m proud of it now.’” The other star who bared all for the retouching-free shoot, shot by Amanda de Cadenet, is former model Joy Bryant. Pick up Harper’s Bazaar May issue, on newsstands April 27, or visit harpersbazaar.com to hear more from Kim’s revealing interview.–Andrea DeSimone
