saturday wedding for Stella?Macca is rumour backer peoplenews.com<strong>After weeks of speculation, it looks like that Stella McCartney and Alasdhair Willis are to marry this weekend. Probably. Arrangements for the wedding have been kept under haut couture wraps since the couple announced their engagement, but it will almost certainly take place on the Scottish island of Bute</strong>. Despite helicopter landing pads being marked out in the grounds of Mount Stuart House, the mansion where it had been rumoured the wedding or reception would be held, management are denying there is anything going on. 'She is simply a friend of Lord Bute's wife Serena, whom she knows through the fashion world,' a spokesman said of Stella's recent visit. 'It was not to do with the wedding.'<strong>Locals are dubious, however, having noted with some trepidation the block bookings being made in local hotels.</strong> 'Everybody is talking about it,' said one islander. 'There is no smoke without fire.' This was certainly true of the wedding of Paul McCartney and Heather Mills , when the owners of Castle Leslie swore blind preparations for the celebrity bash were in fact for a conference. A fair indication that Stella may be on the verge of wedlock came with news that Macca and missus have flown in from New York, and the former Beatle has reportedly asked for his diary to be kept free for the weekend. The groom-to-be's father, Robert Willis, speaking from his Teeside home of the weekend wedding rumour, said: 'We are still here and we would expect to be there if it was taking place.' Aha, but that's just what everybody would expect! She's a wily one, that Stella.<em>Will be interesting to see what part Heather Mills plays in Stella's wedding, if she even comes.</em>

McCartney To Make Animated Film

imdb.com

Rock legend Sir Paul McCartney is moving one step closer to his life-long ambition of making a feature-length animation film. The former Beatles frontman, 61, has created three animated musical shorts in Paul McCartney: The Music And Animation Collection - fulfilling a dream the he's had since his days in the 60s pop phenomenon. McCartney says, "My ambition in the 60s was to make a feature. I don't know why I wanted to but I just loved it so much. It is a passion." The multi-millionaire entertainer began pursuing the hobby more than 20 years ago and has been involved in every aspect of creating the story and look of the animated films. He has collaborated with director Geoff Dunbar for the collection. McCartney explains his loves of Disney films, "You could lose yourself in it, it's a magical world, really. I just always loved that stuff as a kid." The champion of animal rights also credits Disney films Bambi and Lady And The Tramp for teaching people the importance of animal welfare. He says, "He taught us against cruelty to animals. He made us sympathize so much with animals. He gave us a compassion for animals."

histar.comPaul McCartney now says that some of the classic Beatles tunes were inspired by drug use. While Paul says he tried heroin just once when he was just handed something and smoked it, he says he did do cocaine for about a year around the time of 'Sgt. Pepper.' McCartney says that "Got to Get You Into My Life" was about pot. The song "Day Tripper" is about LSD, as was "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds," and not a drawing of the Peanuts character Lucy as John Lennon also claimed.
