More along the same vein.... Sir Paul McCartney has reportedly told Heather Mills she will make nothing from their impending divorce -- as he didn't earn any money during their four year marriage. The former Beatle has issued his estranged wife's lawyers with the statement, and is hoping Mills will not fight the divorce in a courtroom -- as he claims she would "end up with nothing." McCartney, whose amassed fortune is rumored to be around $585 million, made his money before marrying Mills in 2002. He says he made a financial loss until 2006, after embarking on several world tours, according to British newspaper Daily Mirror. British lawyer Caitlin Jenkins says, "It's a good tactic for Sir Paul -- but also quite a high-risk strategy. "Only about 10 percent of contested divorce cases go down this route. "Sir Paul is trying to persuade Heather's team to advise her to come to an agreement -- by suggesting she could end up with nothing if the divorce goes to court. "In essence, Sir Paul is showing her how bad it could be for her." SF Gate: Daily Dish

I was stuck in the waiting room at my car dealer this morning and someone had the tv tuned to NBC. I was subjected to Al Roker's interview of Star Jones Reynolds on the Today show. It was a rehash of what she said on Larry King, playing the martyr and victim. Ad nauseum. It reminded me of that song by Dan Hicks and his Hot Licks: How can I miss you when you won't go away? I keep telling you day after day, But you won't listen, you always stay and stay, How can I miss you when you won't go away?

NY POST: so you're 64 old boy *****BTW, the problem with his relationship with Heather Mills wasn't an age disparity as some have posted here. I think that if he had hooked up with a younger woman who was more interested in making him happy than making a name and a buck for herself, it would have worked out better than the mess he's in now.

People.com Despite a U.S. television report, Heather Mills McCartney has not gained full custody of Beatrice, her 2-year-old daughter with estranged husband Sir Paul McCartney, reps for both Heather and Sir Paul tell PEOPLE. The TV show Extra reported Tuesday that Michele Elyzabeth, described as Heather's publicist, said Heather had gone to court in London on Friday and received an order granting her full custody, with visitation rights for Sir Paul. Sir Paul's U.K. publicist, Stuart Bell, tells PEOPLE the claim is "total rubbish."

LIZ SMITH Here's what one might hope is the last word on the Paul McCartney-Heather Mills marriage breakup, which could eventually benefit her by being the biggest nonroyal divorce settlement in English history. (Heather is rumored in line to receive approximately $100 million for four years of wedlock.) While the McCartneys say their marriage is ending because of "the constant intrusion of the media into our personal lives," and one wants to simply utter the words "Oh, pul-eeze!," here's a cautionary retort from colorful character and tabloid editor Piers Morgan. Mr. Morgan tells the London Spy: "I feel a bit responsible because I actually introduced Paul and Heather at the Mirror's Pride of Britain Awards in 1999. Paul was sat next to me and asked who Heather was when she got up to make a typically feisty speech. "I could have saved him a lot of aggravation if I'd just replied, 'Oh, that's Heather Mills, a right tricky piece of work who will make your comfy little life a complete misery.' " Incidentally, Heather is suffering the breakup these days from a wheelchair. Having lost a leg some years ago in a traffic accident, she recently underwent special surgery on what is left of her injured leg.

PAGE SIX Heather Mills, the soon-to-be ex-bride of Paul McCartney, has gone into hiding - in Slovenia. She flew there over the week end - minus the wedding ring given to her four years ago by McCartney, the Daily Mirror of London reported. Mills, who recently underwent surgery on her amputated leg, hobbled through London's Gatwick airport on Saturday with the aid of a crutch, dragging an oversize suitcase. Alone and grimacing in pain, she turned down offers of help and refused to use a courtesy wheelchair. "She was pale and gaunt, with barely enough strength to hold herself upright," reported a fellow passenger. After landing in Ljubljana, Mills drove off in a rusty old Fiat with a female friend. McCartney, who reportedly hasn't seen Mills since their split, has been caring for their 2-year-old daughter. Hopefully, he got a few laughs out of an open letter written to him by the man Mills was about to marry before she met McCartney. Filmmaker Chris Terrell recalled how six days before their planned nuptials, Mills went to the airport to pick up a wedding guest - "and that was the last time I saw her."

NY POST..PAGE 6 PAUL McCartney may have to fork over hundreds of millions of dollars to get Heather Mills out of his hair, but there's one thing he won't part with - their 2-year-old daughter Beatrice. The just-separated Beatle is "determined" to be the one who raises the couple's toddler, a source close to the rocker tells London's Daily Mail, adding, "He did a wonderful job with his other children - none of whom are spoiled brats." But Mills, who's currently caring for the little girl, is just as headstrong about bringing up Beatrice herself. Looks like it'll be a long and winding road to family court. link

    Colin Farrell

Daily MailFarrell's failed seduction4 May 2005At the age of 70 she may have thought her days of being romanced by Hollywood heart-throbs were behind her.But Dame Eileen Atkins says Colin Farrell - some 42 years her junior - spent more than two hours trying to seduce her.Dame Eileen, one of the creators of the classic television series Upstairs Downstairs, revealed in an interview yesterday that she was propositioned by the actor just a few months ago.Asked about her sex life on the ITV chat show Loose Women, she said: 'I was doing a movie and three weeks before my 70th birthday, a simply stunningly gorgeous big film star aged 28 years old, came into my hotel room for sex without strings.'I spent two and a half hours saying No. But it was pure bliss and it made me sail through my 70th birthday without a care in the world.'Asked whether she was tempted, she said: 'Of course I was!'She told how she followed the advice of another respected British actress, her friend Sian Phillips, and kept saying 'this is deeply inappropriate'. Dame Eileen added: 'It cheered me up fantastically. I said No in the end because he said, "The reason you won't do it is because your body isn't as good as it was when you were young isn't it? That's why you're saying No. I don't care about that. I don't care".'But I'm too proud of how I looked when I was younger. My body is still the same weight, but it's all distributed in a different way!' The actress, who was made a Dame in June 2001, intended to spare Mr Farrell the embarrassment of having his rejection made public. But her agent said later: 'I can confirm that it is Colin Farrell that made an advance.'Dame Eileen and Farrell will be seen together in the film Ask The Dust, which is due for release later this year.
