  1. Me too! I'm spending a lot of time in airports so that's where I'm getting most of my books. For my flight to London I was in the mood for something chick-litty so I got Queen of Babble. I hated it, I'm not sure that I've ever seen/read a more annoying main character in my life.

    PETA

I agree 100% with this comment. PETA should use more of their money on education rather than billboards of naked celebrities and red paint to throw on people.
  3. Thank Soho! I just finished Honeymoon and loved it. I'm going to go find those 2 books you mentioned asap.
  4. I read Jackie Collins' latest and it was HORRIBLE, one of the worst books I have ever read. I was so disappointed too because I was really looking forward to trying to identify who she was talking about. Her whole books used to be like blind items about hollywoods power players. Now they just suck!I finished The Lovely Bones at the beach last week and I have to agree with what some have posted here. The first half was great, I must have cried 4 times in the first 100 pages, then it sort of lost it's way a bit. I still liked it though and would recommend it just for the first half. Now I'm reading Honeymoon by James Patterson and it has me hooked.
  5. I just finished Make Him Look Good by Alisa Valdes-Rodriguez. Chick lit-y, crass and a quick read. Now I'm finally reading The Lovely Bones. This is exactly how I feel! Plus I love hardcovers so I end up spending a ton of money on books.
  6. I'm with Soho, Jennifer Weiner writes fantastic books! I read Good in Bed last year and I'm currently reading In her Shoes. So far though, my favorite chick-lit book is Playing with Boys by Alisa Valdes-Rodriguez.
