When you add a member to your ignore list, any posts they make will be hidden from your view until you specify that you wish to read them again. Very handy if you find a particular member’s posts are irrelevant to you and you do not wish to even bother reading them. FYI, you may not be able to ignore members if they are quoted in another’s member’s posts that you have not blocked. To add members to your ignore list: Got to “My Controls”, then click “Manage Ignored Users” Type in the name of the member you wish to ignore in the field entitled “Add new users to your list” and click “Update Ignored Users” button at the bottom. - or - You may also click the “find user” button to locate the correct name of a member. Once you select the member’s name from the pull down menu and click “insert member into form” it will insert the name into the user name field for you. Then you will need to click “Update Ignored Users” at the bottom. Once you have a member on the ignore list, you will see them listed above the “Add New users to your list” fields. To remove a member from your ignore list (so you can start seeing their posts again), simply click “remove”.

Thanks, Princess. I must say ignore has worked very well...I will also say that most of us agree that it seems a shame that there are people who come here who have to have us resort to this. We all should be free to post things without worrying about snarking on beloved celebs and getting directly attacked/threatened for it. Everyone of us snark on celebs here and there's not a clique or a group of people teaming up against people. And no, I'm not the leader of evil group of snarkers hellbent on destroying our beloved celebs. Most of us share the love of snark with one another and we compliment one another especially if it's a good ass rant or funny ass comment...This place has snarkers that have been so cool with each other all the years I have been here. I hope we can continue that. :) I will say, I do dig this place...and the people who snark here as well.

I agree BobbyD. :)

I would also just add that I also don't think people who like particular celebrities for whatever reason should get personally attacked for stating those opinions, either. (I'm not saying I'm always good at this myself...but I am trying. And fortunately I haven't met any Paris Hilton fans here yet. Phew!) But I think that can be unpleasant, too.

I think the best thing is for everyone to focus on attacking the celebrities themselves, not the posters who hate (or love) them. I think we're usually pretty good at that, right?

Group hugs! :) And snarks!
