It was me!!! Haha.

I mainly chose them because I think Ben is a jerk. And I was hoping. :)

#330240 Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Engagement

His fixation on Beyoncé is weird. His behavior really should get him banned, and if I were Jay-Z I wouldn't want to be associated with him. It reflects poorly on Beyoncé every time he does this, whether or not it should. It also comes across to most people watching (based on Twitter and the "Kanye hates white people" meme) as extremely racist. Also, Kim looked like she was wearing a tacky bath robe at the awards and he kept pushing her as the pinnacle of style. She is trashy, she looks trashy, if he thinks she looks stylish because he picked it for her... Ugh.

There are a lot of celebrities who irritate the crap out of me. Kanye has become someone that is a deal breaker for me. His narcissism is so incredible it is hard to believe. His sense of entitlement... I have literally become a worse human being because of Kanye in that I want something bad to happen to knock him down a lot. I am seriously bummed that Paul McCartney gave him any form of legitimacy because any artistry he possesses has just been completely overtaken by douchiness.

Erin Moran is dead. She had a tough time as an adult, I think.

Throat cancer. No illicit drugs found at her house. Of course, doesn't mean she didn't od on pain meds. Stage 4 cancer, wow.

http://pagesix.com/2...died-of-cancer/

And of course Chachi had to show his ass and make a premature comment about how addiction led to her death -- once a shit, always a shit.

He just stated that, unlike Erin, he never tried drugs or alcohol because he was "raised right." Yeah, he can fuck right off. He better watch that mouth of his -- addiction can come a'knocking at any time, regardless of how well your parents raised you. As a father, he ought to shut his yap and pray to god he never has to see his kids go down that road.

The utter lack of compassion in some people continually astounds me.

3 sides to every story - his, hers & the truth. :-) And they're both assholes, as I think we've agreed.

Seeing gossip that Elon Musk has been interested in Amber for a while now - there was some gossip recently they hooked up (or at least had dinner ;-) in Miami. I thought he was still married (asked for divorce, then stopped proceedings?) Ah, celebs. They're NOT just like us. They're assholes with too much money.

I really hated to hear about Jimmy Carter. Being from Georgia, we have made the trip to Plains and seen the museum, the giant peanut, his childhood home, and current home (although surrounded by a huge fence and the secret service are everywhere). He teaches Sunday school, he builds homes for Habitat for Humanity, he negotiated the treaty between Israel & Egypt that still stands. I'm not a Democrat, so this isn't a political commercial; I just like the man and his wife. It will hurt me when he passes.

Im not going to mourn Billy Grahams death. He was antisemetic, and IMHO did not deserve the praise he got. Not only was he antisemetic but when he was confronted by others he denied saying anything and was believed until nearly a decade later the Nixon tapes were released and he was recorded saying all sorts of vile things about Jewish people.

https://www.google.c...cLawWL/amp.html

Yeah, he was a true scumbag. He can rot in hell where he belongs. Sorry, but not a good person.

I am not going to disagree and will add that his son seems to be carrying on a questionable legacy justifying certain behavior by certain politicians because they fit their agenda.

#337345 Harassment scandal(s) in Hollywood

Are any of yall as pissed off as I am about all these women coming forth asking why are all these women coming forth now? Seriously? You dont remember that opening your mouth was equivalent to career suicide? Or social suicide? And whose to say they didnt bring it up then and was told to stay quiet.

And in my opinion, any woman who slept her way to a promotion was sexually harassed. Sure it was consensual. She may have asked for it, but if you werent in a position of power would she have done it? Men dont flatter yourself. Yes power is attractive, but if it was one you had power over, you are guilty. Period.

Wow.

I feel like the rest of the world is finally hearing all of the stories we have had here for years. I don’t doubt the sheen story for a minute.

Josh Hartnett and his girlfriend (wife?) just had a baby. I'm really curious to see what that kid looks like as she ages. Should make for some interesting speculation.

Am I the only one who thinks they may be keeping the medical records and formal cause of death records sealed at this point to hide a pregnancy?  I'm guessing my fellow ChitChatters had this thought cross their minds too :D

#337422 Divorce in 2018: Who'll do it, soonest?

Posted by Kath on 03 January 2018 - 10:21 AM

These are always so HARD! Which means you made great choices, Kath!!!!

Thanks. I know its silly but I spend waaaay longer than I should, on picking names for this poll each winter.  And it kills, I mean KKKIIIIILLLLLLLLSSS, me when I remove a couple who's been on the list for a few years... and then they have the nerve to divorce! (Just watch: Horse-face Roberts and Danny will finally get around to announcing their split, this year)

So yeah, I take the honour and privilege of creating this annual poll most seriously.  :D

#335534 Brad and Angelina

Posted by Maxiemom on 07 January 2017 - 02:23 PM

Damage his career?  He could walk away from acting and producing today and it probably wouldn't change his quality of life a bit.

I have no dog in this hunt, but Brad is playing this exactly right by remaining silent on the sidelines while Angie hangs herself in the court of public opinion.

Nope. Not George Michael. I'm in denial over this. As I was in denial over his sexuality ;-) My nanny was good friends with his family....

Fuck 2016. I'm not so sure the next 4 years will be an improvement.

I truly miss Ted. He appears to be happy and successful with his art gallery in Palm Springs. He's always been such a naughty little boy. Have you seen the artwork he features?

I wonder if he's found a true love yet?

I wish him nothing but the best. I'm forever grateful for all of the entertaining, thought-provoking blind items he provided. He will always be gossip royalty to us old-timers.

Ted/Bruce, if you're out there, throw us a bone and say hello (and I said bone, not boner. I'm still a naughty little girl too).  :D

Honestly, I really don't care what the cause of death was.  It's really none of my business and it's not going to change the fact that he's gone and isn't coming back.  I'm just happy and thankful that he left such a wonderful legacy in the form of his music, his quiet philanthropy, and the video of him kicking Kim Kardashian off of his stage.

#329956 Who will divorce first?

Posted by Hoyaheel on 06 January 2015 - 07:20 AM

I'm definitely not sexist when it comes to cheating - no woman "stole" your man - he went willingly to her vagina, and I will scorn both of them for cheating.

IF you have a monogamous relationship, then sex outside that relationship is cheating. Period. If you have problems in your relationship, you fix them or you end the relationship before you seek "solace" elsewhere.

Now, if your relationship is governed by different rules -AND you both know what those rules are and agree to them going in, well, all bets are off.....

But since at least 2 of the 3 relationships in this poll started off with cheating, I'm really torn on who to vote for!
