FUN-loving Hollywood star Kate Hudson kicked up her heels at the Gramercy Park Hotel's Rose Bar the other night. The blonde showed up for a Velvet Revolver concert, hosted by Nur Khan and One Music, with out her current boyfriend, Owen Wilson. Kate Hudson recently enjoyed a night out in NYC sans her boyfriend, Owen Wilson, when she hit up the Gramercy Park Hotel's Rose Bar for a Velvet Revolver Concert. The event was hosted by Nur Khan and One Music and it sounds like Kate picked up an admirer along the way.

Hudson "spent the evening chatting" with one older guy, our spy reports, "and was lifting up her leg to show off her black pumps."

But it doesn't sound like she had any interest in any long-term company, since she later headed over to Pink Elephant on West 27th Street to dance the rest of the night away. If I have to ever be a single mom, this is FO SHO the way I want to do it. I don't understand why all of those other ladies make themselves miserable with all their welfare and two jobs. They should just learn how to kick back once in a while and party like Kate! Woo hoo!

Hudson was overheard complaining to friends at party promoter Danny A's birthday party at Marquee about her tumultuous relationship with the "frat pack" actor. "She said that if he didn't step up and make time for her, then she was over it," reports our source. "A few days after that, she broke up with him over the phone." On July 30, the two lovebirds – who were first photographed together July 13 – flew on a private jet to Muskoka, Canada, where Kurt Russell and mom Goldie Hawn own a home. Most of the Hudson/Hawn/Russell clan was there (only her brother Oliver and his wife, Erinn, were absent), but Shepard wasn’t shy about socializing.

Kate Hudson: Dating as a Single Mom Is 'Different'

Her relationships with husband Chris Robinson and ex-boyfriend Owen Wilson now behind her, Kate Hudson says she's ready to face the dating scene as a single mom.

 

"Dating becomes very different," the actress, 28, tells Harper's Bazaar for its September issue (on sale Aug. 21). "You realize after you have had children that you'll never love anything more than your child. ... So it makes the new sort of single-mom dating process very different. It's like growing up. It's adult."

 

Hudson is mom to 3-year-old son, Ryder, with Robinson.

 

Since splitting from Robinson, the actress has dated Wilson, her You, Me and Dupree costar, but the relationship ended in June. Last month, Hudson was spotted with Punk'd star Dax Shepard in Southern California and have been linked since a shirtless Shepard escorted Hudson to dinner in Malibu.

 

But Hudson says she is still learning about romance. "A friend of mine said the greatest thing to me," she tells the magazine. "When it comes to relationships, unfortunately you've just got to be a grown-up. It doesn't mean you can't make mistakes; it doesn't mean you can't be a kid. ... But when it comes to the work of it, you just have to grow up... And when you do the work, it provides so much more room to be silly and make mistakes again."

 

Hudson says she doesn't consider her nearly six year marriage to Robinson a mistake – but says divorce is "really, really hard."
