Rihanna has revealed that she would love to appear in a movie.

The 'Russian Roulette' singer is also interested in a career in fashion, Now reports.

"I would love to do movies," Rihanna said. "I have actually taken some acting lessons so hopefully one day I will have time to do something like that."

She continued: "There is so much I want to do. [In ten years' time] I'll hopefully be making movies and having something to do with fashion as well as making music. I just want to keep getting better."

Rihanna free to be raunchy at New Year gig

Organizers behind Rihanna's upcoming New Year's Eve gig in the United Arab Emirates have dismissed reports they've ordered the singer to tone down her act.

Tabloid reports suggest the "Umbrella" singer is set to cover up for her concert at the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi to avoid offending any conservative fans.

But bosses at events company Flash, the firm organizing the gig, insist the rumors are "totally inaccurate".

A spokesperson says, "The facts recently reported around Rihanna's Abu Dhabi concert are totally inaccurate. Rihanna is bringing an incredible new stage show to the capital and there's no doubt the event will be fantastic; an ideal way to celebrate the beginning of a new decade."

CABO SAN LUCAS, Mexico -- - She may be extremely busy with her career, but Rihanna is finding quality time to hang with her new beau, Los Angeles Dodger Matt Kemp.

The 21-year-old singer, introduced to Kemp, 25, by friends in November, is currently vacationing with the outfielder at a luxury resort in Cabo San Lucas.

While hanging poolside on Jan. 4, the lovebirds "couldn't keep their hands off of each other," says an eyewitness, adding that once back on their patio the pair "kept kissing while gazing out over the ocean."

"Rihanna wants the world to know that she is happy with Matt," says an insider. So far, things between them are looking good. He certainly kept her "constantly giggling," says an onlooker, when they went shopping at The Grove outdoor mall in L.A. on Dec. 22.

"They've only had a few opportunities to be together, but those times have been fun," says Kemp's agent Dave Stewart.

Adds an insider, "They really like each other."

Lawyer for Matt Kemp's Ex -- Abuse Was Real

The ex-girlfriend of Matt Kemp -- the L.A. Dodger who is currently dating R&B star Rihanna -- is lashing out at Kemp's people, claiming they are lying about a relationship that was abusive and threatening.

David D. Diamond, Felisha Terrell's attorney, tells TMZ he's pissed off that Kemp's agent is now saying Terrell lied in her 2008 restraining order application against Kemp.

Terrell claimed Kemp was verbally abusive and threatening, but both sides ultimately agreed to drop the matter.

When news of the restraining surfaced earlier this week, Kemp's agent told one outlet, "She chose to file a complaint and shortly thereafter, on her own accord, decided to drop it based on the fact that the statements made within were false."

Diamond says his client never lied: "The temporary restraining order was granted because of an actual and real threat. The matter was quietly resolved until Mr. Kemp's agent began making false public statements."

Diamond adds, "...my hope is that Ms. Terrell tells her story, because it is a compelling tale of betrayal, abuse and survival."

Calls to Kemp's agent were not returned.

Rihanna: We Messed Up The 2009 Grammys

RIHANNA understands why organisers didn't ask her to perform at the upcoming Grammy Awards - after her bust-up with ex CHRIS BROWN forced her to pull out of the 2009 event.

Both stars were due to sing at the prestigious ceremony in February 2009 but they cancelled their slots at the last minute after Brown left Rihanna battered and bruised.

The Umbrella hitmaker has since returned to the spotlight by releasing her fourth album, Rated R, in November (09) and fans had called for her to seal her comeback with a slot at the 2010 Grammys.

But Rihanna insists she won't be taking the stage after she and Brown caused the producers so much hassle last year.

She says, "We messed their show up pretty bad last year. They might be a little mad at me."

The 21 year old is expected to attend the event, which takes place in Los Angeles on 31 January (10). She is nominated for two awards for Run This Town, her collaboration with Jay-Z and Kanye West

Rihanna Pays Tribute to Leukemia Victim Jasmina

For Rihanna, Super Bowl weekend in Miami wasn't all fun and games.


Friday night, the singer attended a kickoff party for Pepsi's Refresh Project. The philanthropic drive offers financial support to charitable causes, and Rihanna, 21, is trying to raise money for DKMS Americas, the world's largest non-profit marrow donor center.

It's a cause close to the singer's heart. Last year, she helped spread the word about a New York City mom in need of a transplant, as well as highlighted the need for more African-American donors after watching a video about young leukemia victim, Jasmina Anema.

Tragically, Jasmina, 6, lost her battle with the disease on Jan. 27.

"She was a very free, fun spirited little girl, full of energy, always happy, always energetic," Rihanna said, the Associated Press reports. "I always remember she wouldn't sit still. She was always running around, always had a smile on her face."

In a push for the Pepsi Refresh Project, Rihanna said, "If we win, this would really help us recruit 4,000 individual donors."

Rihanna has revealed that her latest tattoo reminds her to look on the positive side of life.

Previous reports suggested that the tattoo sparked concerns that Rihanna is going "too far" with her body art.

However, the 'Rude Boy' singer insisted that she chose a message which is important to her.

Speaking to The Sun, she explained: "My new one says, 'Never a failure, always a lesson', and is kind of my mantra to life, just a reminder.

"My life is just a crazy rollercoaster every day and whenever I read that it just reassures me."

Rihanna Sued By Trainer

Rihanna is being sued by her personal trainer.

The 'Russian Roulette' singer allegedly owes Cindy Percival $26,144.14 in unpaid wages from 2009, according to a claim filed at Los Angeles County Superior Court by the fitness expert last week.

In the law suit, Cindy claims she was hired by the singer to perform "exclusive personal training services" at a rate of $1,500-a-day but wasn't paid for a few weeks work between September and October.

In addition, the trainer is also seeking $2,644.14 in travel expenses to cover the costs of her travel around Europe to work with the 22-year-old star.

Rihanna has previously spoken about her exercise regime, admitting she always needs a trainer to motivate her in her work-out sessions.

She said: "I stay in shape with a lot of hard work and a lot of running on the treadmill. Cardio is the key. I have a personal trainer who travels with me if we have a big event coming up. I work out every day but I need a trainer to motivate me - I don't find it much fun working out on my own."

Rihanna 'Meets Matt Kemp's Family'

Rihanna has reportedly met rumoured boyfriend Matt Kemp's family in Arizona.

According to E! Online, the 'Russian Roulette' star jetted to the US following her performance at Germany's Echo Awards in order to attend Kemp's charity gala Ante Up For Autism.

"Matt was happy she came. It was an awesome show of support," claimed one insider.

"Rihanna fit right in as if they all knew each other. It was comfortable."

Kemp's family and other baseball stars were reportedly among the 150 guests who attended the function on Saturday night, which raised $170,000 for the cause.

Rihanna and LA Dodgers player Kemp sparked speculation that they are dating in January after they were photographed holidaying together in Mexico. However, Kemp - who reportedly organised a celebration for the singer's 22nd birthday last month - has previously insisted that the pair are "just good friends".

Rihanna Still Reaching Out to Chris Brown?

RIHANNA is still in contact with ex-boyfriend Chis Brown, it has been claimed.

The Rude Boy singer — who was left battered and bruised following a 2009 altercation with Brown — is trying to stay friendly with the Run It hitmaker so she can “truly heal”.

“Ri feels like she won’t truly heal,” a source told American tabloid the National Enquirer.

“Rihanna still talks to Chris. There’s some kind of need there, still.”

The source adds that Rihanna’s current squeeze, Los Angeles Dodgers star Matt Kemp, isn’t happy with that the star is talking to her violent former flame.

“Matt has a temper,” said the insider. ““He knows people who are friends with Chris, and they’ve told him that if he ever sees Rihanna on the street, he’d better run the other way.”

Chris Brown appeals for fans' help

Chris Brown is asking fans to help put his music back on the radio, insisting stations across America are denying him airplay.

Brown has been working to rebuild his image ever since his infamous fight with Rihanna last year, issuing a public apology for his behavior and carrying out community service for the attack.

But the "Kiss Kiss" hit maker admits he's struggling to make his comeback and feels there's "nothing else" he can do to atone for the incident.

In a message uploaded to SayNow.com, Brown says, "I ain't (sic) never really did this but right now I need all of my fans' help. It's crazy because a lot of radio stations aren't playing my records. They're not being that supportive and I wouldn't expect them to. It's on the fans and what you guys do in your power to bring me back because that's all I need. Nothing else will do that except for the fans.

"There's nothing else that I can do. I'm doing everything that I need to do. I'm doing me as a person and I'm a better guy.

"My singing and my music I do it for you guys and everything else but it won't be possible if I'm not relevant on the radio and it wouldn't be possible for me to be an artist if I don't have any support. Rihanna has asked Matt Kemp to move in with her.

The 'Russian Roulette' singer delighted the 25-year-old Los Angeles Dodgers baseball star when she suggested he came to live in her Hollywood mansion, just months after they started dating.

A source said: "Matt is very happy to be moving in with Rihanna.

"He knew it was only a matter of time before Rihanna moved him in. He wants to make her happy.

"He had boxes of his things brought over in mid-March. He's training in Arizona now, but when he's back he'll be at her place."

However, Matt is said to be being cautious about the move and is not currently planning to put his own Los Angeles property on the market.

The insider told America's Star magazine: "He's keeping his house, to see how things go. But they are so in love."

Rihanna and Matt - who were first romantically linked in January after they holidayed together in Mexico - have always played down their relationship and claimed they are "just friends".

However, the sportsman recently introduced the 22-year-old singer to his family when she attended an Ante Up for Autism charity fundraiser he was involved with.

Rihanna's team have apparently stepped up her security after a barrage of saucy fan mail was sent to the star from a mystery admirer.

According to MTV, the 'Rude Boy' singer's boyfriend Matt Kemp is "shocked" by the letters.

A source claimed: "Matt has asked Rihanna's team to be extra cautious since she was sent two very steamy letters.

She said, "He's my boyfriend. ... It's new and it's fun and it's nothing too serious. I don't want anything nuts that's gonna take up so much of my energy and time in a bad way."

Kemp is the singer's first serious boyfriend since she split up with R&B star Chris Brown in 2009. Brown was charged with assaulting the singer during a fight after a pre-Grammy Awards party.

Katy Perry has heaped the pressure on best pal Rihanna - she's asked the "Umbrella" singer to organize her bachelorette party.

Rihanna was in the throes of announcing her summer tour with Kesha when Perry dropped the bombshell and gave her pal the task of coming up with a wild bash to celebrate her upcoming wedding to British funnyman Russell Brand.

During an interview with Ryan Seacrest, the R&B star says, "She put that on me last week and now I have to come up with something cool 'cos she's getting married in India, so I'm like, 'OK and now what do I do to match that for a bachelorette party?'"

But she has a bit of planning time: "That's at the end of the year, so we've got some time to plan that."
