Pink backflip on boycott pleases wool industry
1:13 PM January 17

The wool industry has welcomed an admission by US singer Pink that she failed to properly research the practice of sheep mulesing before she made a video condemning the practice.

The singer caused a furore when she called for consumers to boycott Australian wool as part of a campaign by the group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).

Pink has given a television interview saying she was misinformed about the practice.

The president of WoolProducers, Robert Peach, says he is glad Pink has backed away from her earlier comments.

"She's been totally caught out and we appreciate that she's retracted it," he said.

"But in the meantime, it has done the industry some damage.

"We as industry have really taken this whole issue of animal welfare very seriously over a long period of time.

"It's just sad that people like Pink actually don't do the research before they make the sort of statements they do."

Mulesing involves cutting a piece of skin from a sheep’s backside to protect it from deadly fly-strike. Pink is right - it is not pleasant, but it stops sheep being eaten alive by maggot infestations.

Australian farmers say there is no cost-effective alternative yet.

(ETA They are not my words but from another article explaining the answer to your question.)

Are Pink's anti-Bush views being censored?
Singer Pink told Jimmy Kimmel that she hasn't been able to sing or discuss her anti-Bush song on other shows.

Are Pink’s anti-Bush views being censored?

The outspoken rocker — who recently went after her singing sex-symbol peers in her song “Stupid Girls” — is now taking aim at the commander-in-chief, in her controversial song, “Dear Mr. President.” But she says that she’s not allowed to discuss her political views on the radio.

Pink appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” and thanked him for letting her sing and discuss the song, which she says the hasn’t been able to do on the radio or other TV shows.

“Dear Mr. President,” which attacks Bush’s domestic and war policies, is an open letter to the president, she explained.

“Are you hoping President Bush will make a song back to you?” Kimmel joked.

“Yes,” Pink quipped. “Through Eminem.”

Sienna Miller Locks Lips With Mom; Pink Still Likes Ladies

Sienna Miller seems to have a very, er, cozy connection with her mother, Josephine.

The British babe went in for a front-face lip-lock last week when she greeted her mom.

“It was slightly weird,” an onlooker divulged to the Aussie magazine Famous. “Usually you don’t kiss your mom quite so passionately!”

Perhaps Sienna is preparing for her lesbian lover role with Keira Knightley in “The Best Time of Our Lives."

And while punk princess Pink may be married, she still doesn’t rule out the possibility of “Getting the Party Started” with some girl-on-girl good-times.

“I know I’ve talked a lot about the lesbian lover thing in the past, but it all depends now," she told Australia's OK! magazine. "I’m definitely a committed woman.”

“But Carey [her husband] and I always check out chicks together. And then I’ll see a hot guy and go, ‘Oh that boy is so cute’ and he just looks at me like he’s gonna hit me.”

Pink is still wild in her ways.

“I’m a tri-sexual, I’ll try anything once,” she told the mag. “I’m totally open to new experiences. Though compared to how I used to be, I’m pretty mellow these days.”

Sexiness a Must for Today's Lady Singers

She was an "amazing talent," a young singer with a wonderful voice who wrote beautiful songs. But she was no beauty, plus flat-chested and overweight to boot.

Remembering the aspiring star, music executive Jody Gerson still feels terrible about thinking: "She's never going to get signed, even though she's fabulous."

Gerson might feel even worse after Wednesday night's exit of the matronly Melinda Doolittle from "American Idol." In today's music industry, Plain Janes need not apply. Sex appeal was once considered a bonus for a woman; now it's practically a requirement.

Doolittle and the heavyset, gap-toothed LaKisha Jones were widely considered this season's most talented "Idol" contestants. Yet both were eliminated from the final four in favor of Blake Lewis, who makes the teen girls swoon, and the long-locked, 17-year-old looker Jordin Sparks.

A quick check of the Billboard Top 40 turns up a list of candidates for "America's Top Model": Avril Lavigne, blonde stunner Carrie Underwood; tomboyish but sexy Ciara, fashionista Gwen Stefani and hip-swiveling Shakira (on a song featuring bootylicious Beyonce).

The only two in the Top 40 who might not be considered perfect 10s: Pink, who is still svelte and appealing; and multiplatinum Grammy-winner Kelly Clarkson, who got her break only through winning the democratically elected "American Idol."

When asked whether a female with so-so looks and sex appeal could get a record deal, Gretchen Wilson quickly replied: "They can't."

"I believe that very few will get through and they better be amazing," Wilson said in an interview. "The music is not about just music anymore, it's about the look, the 'it' factor if you will ... it's marketing."

True, looks have always been a part of the music business: Diana Ross played a model in the movie "Mahogany," Marianne Faithfull was considered a beauty, Tina Turner's legs were part of her sex appeal, Olivia Newton-John was the lovely girl-next-door and Stevie Nicks rocked teenage boys with more than just her guitar.

But there also were stars like wild-haired, pudgy Janis Joplin and Barbra Streisand, who challenged beauty standards with her protruding nose. Even curvy Aretha Franklin was known mainly for her one-of-a-kind voice.

Today, it's hard to find a singer larger than a size 6 and without a sexy look all of which are played up with sensuous videos, modeling spreads and provocative magazine covers. Lavigne, who once scoffed at singers who stripped for the cameras, fronts the new issue of Blender topless save for a strategically placed banner that reads "Hell Yeah, I'm Hot!"

The hit reality show "Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search for the Next Doll" is a striking example. In finding a replacement for current lead doll, stunner Nicole Scherzinger, the judging panel which included the cosmetically enhanced rapper Lil' Kim did talk about vocal qualities. But while a few contestants had strong voices, all were taut, toned and sexy, and the focus was more on their dancing and overall desirability. Which is to be expected from the group responsible for the anthem "Don't Cha" (as in, "don't cha wish your girlfriend was hot like me?").

Even singers who are heralded for their talent are gorgeous, like Alicia Keys, Corinne Bailey Rae or Norah Jones. And while critically acclaimed Amy Winehouse may not win any beauty contests, her songs have a raw sexuality that give her that "it" factor.

Dolly Parton, whose buxom figure sometimes overshadowed her talent as a songwriter and singer, said being "a good looking woman certainly can't hurt you any if you're trying to make it."

"But I would like to believe that true and great and pure talent will rise above whatever else," the country legend said in an interview. "But certainly in music these days, the better you look, the more apt you're going to get a contract.

"It's a damn pity, though, that people have to judge real talent on looks."

Gerson says the way female artists look reflects our society, where women are constantly judged on their appearance and oversexualized. But she also says it reflects the way we listen to music these days or don't listen.

"They have to look hot and sexy in these videos," says Gerson, who is credited with helping discover Alicia Keys, among others, and is now executive vice president of the U.S. Creative division of EMI Music Publishing.

"In the days of Aretha Franklin, people saw Aretha maybe a couple of times a year," she said, "but you listened to a record without a visual. You didn't watch it. Everything today, you watch it."

Gerson also agrees with Wilson about the marketing factor. With dwindling profits and budgets, record labels try to maximize artist exposure with clothing deals, cosmetic contracts, movie roles and modeling gigs.

"How many endorsements does Beyonce have? Do you think it's because she's the most talented person on earth or do you think it's because she's gorgeous? I think she's talented but she's also gorgeous," Gerson says. "I think you need the whole package."

And that notion, according to Wilson, "totally sucks."

"My favorite singers in the world were Patsy Cline and Loretta Lynn, and Patsy was a large woman, and Loretta she was never some kind of a supermodel, but they were the greatest female voices in country music, and they changed lives and they made a difference," says Wilson, who, although considered sexy, feels she doesn't fit today's beauty standards.

Where are the Patsy Clines of today? More often than not on smaller, underground labels, which put more of a premium on talent. And with the devolution of today's music industry, Gerson says, small labels may be the best path to success for a woman who doesn't look like a mold of a Barbie doll.

So how would Gerson advise the flat-chested, overweight, amazingly talented singer to chase her dream? Put out her own music and promote herself on the Web.

"As far as we've come as women," Gerson asked, "where are we really?"

Pink and Carey Splitting Up?

The singer wasn’t wearing her wedding ring on Sept. 19 in L.A.
Pink’s marriage may be fading to black.

Although the singer’s hubby of 21 months, motocross star Carey Hart, 32, told the Las Vegas Review-Journal in August that “everything’s fine” between the two of them, Us has learned that the couple’s itching to ditch their union. “We’re just not getting along anymore. We each need our space. We need our distance. It’s not like it was when we first started,” Pink, 28, was heard telling a tableful of friends on September 14 at West Hollywood hot spot Eleven.

from Dlisted:

Pink was overheard telling her friends that her marriage to Carey Hart may be over. UsWeekly reports that Pink told her girlfriends, "I'M SICK OF THE DICK. BRING ON THE CLIT!" No....she said, “We’re just not getting along anymore. We each need our space. We need our distance. It’s not like it was when we first started."

A friend of Carey's confirms this by saying the couple are getting divorced. This source said, "Carey is tired of her always accusing him of cheating, and he’s fed up with the constant arguing. He says he cannot deal with her anymore. It’s his decision to put an end to this. They are 100 percent getting a divorce.”

Pink's spokeswhore said it ain't true.

I never trusted Pink's relationship to Carey. She has clit-sucking lips and you can't tell me otherwise. That tongue was made to lift, separate and tickle.

I shouldn't be saying this though. Pink scares me. I just know she's a member of one of those scary, lesbian gangs Bill O'Reilly was talking about.

Pink IS gay, so I don't know why she even bothered to get hitched!

Hmm, I'm not a major fan but I've always liked Pink's attitude and style. Maybe she wanted to give marriage a go but found it wasn't for her.

I am always hesitant to believe someone is on the verge of splitting just because they weren't wearing their ring or their Special Chain or some other visual drivel concocted by US Weekly and Life & Shite, etc. But, it's also pretty much the kiss of death these days when your rep says 'everything's fine' - a lot of the time when that is actually said (instead of 'no comment') people do end up splitting. ohmy.gif

So, I guess we'll see.

Pink Gives Hubby Lapdance

Pink gave husband Carey Hart a lap dance in a California bar, dispelling rumors their marriage is in trouble.

She sang 'Killing Me Softly' and Janice Joplin's hit 'Bobby McGee' at a Venice Beach karaoke bar while treating motocross star husband to her sexy moves on Sunday night.

A source told gossip website TMZ.com: "They looked very happy and very much in love. People are saying their marriage is on the rocks, but it certainly looked good from where I was sitting."

Pink was reportedly overheard telling friends at Hollywood restaurant Eleven recently that she wanted time apart from Carey after just 21 months of marriage.

A source said: "Pink was out with a table full of friends and telling them that her and Carey just wasn't working anymore.

"She told them, 'We're just not getting along anymore. We each need our space. We need our distance. It's not like it was when we first started.' "

When asked about their marriage last month, Carey, 32, said "everything's fine".

A representative for Pink, 28, said rumors the couple are splitting up were "complete bulls**t."

Hart Breaks Pink’s Heart
http://www.mollygood.com/pink/hart-breaks-...heart-20071022/

Pop musician Pink and her husband, extreme-sport-something-or-other Carey Hart, are encountering difficult times in their marriage. Sources say the troubles are due in large part to the agreement the couple made that allows Hart to have sex with other women while Pink is away at work, and apparently things like that can sour.

Apparently…she took a “Don’t ask, don’t tell” policy and agreed to let him have his fun when she’s away on tour. But she’s changed her mind now that her biological clock has started ticking. “Divorce is just around the corner,” says our mole. “Carey has this one blonde in particular that he takes everywhere, even public appearances. But Pink knew what she was getting into!”

Though we’ve almost no experience with the subject, we’re inclined to think that if one ever has to tell one’s wife, “You knew what you were getting into,” chances are she probably didn’t.

PINK LYRICS

"Dear Mr. President"
(feat. Indigo Girls)

Dear Mr. President,
Come take a walk with me.
Let's pretend we're just two people and
You're not better than me.
I'd like to ask you some questions if we can speak honestly.

What do you feel when you see all the homeless on the street?
Who do you pray for at night before you go to sleep?
What do you feel when you look in the mirror?
Are you proud?

How do you sleep while the rest of us cry?
How do you dream when a mother has no chance to say goodbye?
How do you walk with your head held high?
Can you even look me in the eye
And tell me why?

Dear Mr. President,
Were you a lonely boy?
Are you a lonely boy?
Are you a lonely boy?
How can you say
No child is left behind?
We're not dumb and we're not blind.
They're all sitting in your cells
While you pave the road to hell.

What kind of father would take his own daughter's rights away?
And what kind of father might hate his own daughter if she were gay?
I can only imagine what the first lady has to say
You've come a long way from whiskey and cocaine.

How do you sleep while the rest of us cry?
How do you dream when a mother has no chance to say goodbye?
How do you walk with your head held high?
Can you even look me in the eye?

Let me tell you 'bout hard work
Minimum wage with a baby on the way
Let me tell you 'bout hard work
Rebuilding your house after the bombs took them away
Let me tell you 'bout hard work
Building a bed out of a cardboard box
Let me tell you 'bout hard work
Hard work
Hard work
You don't know nothing 'bout hard work
Hard work
Hard work
Oh

How do you sleep at night?
How do you walk with your head held high?
Dear Mr. President,
You'd never take a walk with me.

Pink Makes Out with Mystery Woman

Pink who has been plagued by rumors her relationship with her motocross star husband Carey Hart is on the rocks - is allegedly so tired of her husband’s dalliances with other women she decided to hit back by “making out” with a mystery woman at Santa Monica’s Viceroy Hotel.

A source told Australia’s New Weekly magazine: “She was flirting the way you’d expect her to flirt with a man, cuddling and being overly affectionate.” - “They were making out.”

Pink’s representative has strongly denied the star is having a lesbian fling, and insists Pink was just enjoying a night out with her friends.

Carey was reportedly seen dirty dancing with a mystery brunette on a drunken night out without his wife. A source said: “He was having a great time. Pink wouldn’t have been happy!”

The reports have surfaced just weeks after it was claimed Pink was regretting agreeing to an open marriage. A source said: “Divorce is just around the corner. Gallop poll: Pink's all horsefeathers
Tuesday, January 22nd 2008, 4:00 AM

Pink is working with PETA.
Members of New York's Horse & Carriage Association are cracking their whips at Pink now that the rocker has accused them of animal cruelty in a billboard campaign with People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.

The singer told us last week that "these horses aren't taken care of at all. Their hooves are made for grass and they're forced to walk on concrete, and there're fumes from all the Mercedes, which the horses suck in all day long."

Carriage-owner rep Carolyn Daly bridled at Pink's charge that the asphalt hurts the horses' hooves. "They have specialized shoes for concrete," said Daly, adding that their equine partners get a four-month vacation at a Pennsylvania farm.

"We haven't had one animal cruelty violation from the three agencies that oversee us," said Daly, who derided the "ignorant comments of a B-list pop star. A true 'Stupid Girl' is one who talks publicly about something she knows nothing about."

Hansom cab driver Ian McKeever said he's never witnessed a driver abusing a horse — and would intervene if he did.

McKeever, whose horse Roger has appeared on "Sex and the City," argues, "My horse is more famous than [Pink] is!"

Pink & Carey Hart Divorcing

The marriage of pop singer Pink and her husband of two years, motocross racer and former The Surreal Life star Carey Hart, has ended, the singer's publicist, Michele Schweitzer, tells PEOPLE.

"Pink and Carey Hart have separated. This decision was made by best friends with a huge amount of love and respect for one another," says Schweitzer, adding, "While the marriage is over, their friendship has never been stronger."

Pink, 28, and Hart, 32, met at the 2001 X Games and broke up for a time in 2003, but the split was well behind them in 2005, when the singer popped the question to her beau as he sped around the track during a competition in Mammoth Lakes, Calif.

They married in January 2006 at a non-denominational ceremony in Costa Rica. Among the 100 guests was Lisa Marie Presley.

In August 2007, amid reports that the marriage was on the rocks, Hart dismissed the stories as "just a bunch of trash talk."

Not surprised. She probably finally figured out he had a dick or vice versa. It's pretty funny that they say they have a lot of respect for each other? Didn't he fuck every chick in sight while he was married to her ass? That's true love for you. Oh well, try not to cry too loud or your co-workers will stare.

The Thrill Is Gone Between Pink and Carey Hart

According to Pink's publicist, Michele Schweitzer, the pop star and her husband have amicably separated. Schweitzer told People magazine, "While the marriage is over, their friendship has never been stronger." That sucks. I like Pink because she seems like a good time, if not a little too much of a good time. Rumors had surfaced last summer, that the couple was going through a rough patch, but Hart referred to those rumblings as "just a bunch of trash talk." The couple were together for about two years before this announcement of their separation was made.

And, if I remember correctly, Carey had planned on tattooing his wife's name down his ring finger, which is just making me nod my head. People, Hollywood, marriages and tattoos just don't mix. It never works.

But it just might work for me and my boyfriend. Let the great experiment begin!

P!nk and Hart -- It's Not You, It's Work
TMZ

The P!nk-Carey Hart split, TMZ has learned, is a story as old as wage labor: Their careers just plain got in the way.

Sources close to Carey Hart tell TMZ that the motocrosser is telling people that he and his ex still love each other and "will remain best friends." The downfall of the marriage came as a result of careers getting in the way. P!nk has headed back to the studio to work on her music, while Carey is busy opening new nightclubs.

TMZ has also learned that Hart is opening the first of his new brainchildren -- a spot called "Wasted Space" -- at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas in May. The club will be a live music venue that will feature new rock bands -- and music legends.

OK!

Pink is back on her own now that she announced her split from motocross racer hubby Carey Hart.

I spoke to the Who Knew singer, 28, less than a month after she tied the knot in 2006.

How did you know Carey was the one?
I always joke with him and say I tried to kick him out of my life eight times and he never went anywhere so I asked him to marry me. He’s very consistent and very, very good to me.

What was your wedding like?
It was gor-geous! It was so much fun, everyone was sort of well-behaved for our group until my dad threw me in the ocean. It was beautiful, Carey’s vows made every single person there cry and I was just really, really happy. It was just awesome.

How was your honeymoon?
We went snowboarding in Mammoth Lakes, California, which is where we got engaged. We took the doggies -- which was fun except that they had diarrhea and we were cleaning up dog poop for the first three days of my honeymoon, which was wonderful. We have two bulldogs and two rescued junkyard mutts. The bulldogs are Foxy and Elvis and the rescue babies are Bailey and Nanny. We went snowboarding, then came back, dropped the dogs off and went to Fiji. We read to each other, played Scrabble and drank cava. It was awesome.

Did you ever consider changing your name to Pink Hart?
Everyone thinks I should, but no.

How has your relationship changed now that you’re married?
It’s really not. We’ve been together for four-and-a-half years. I met him right at the beginning of Missundazstood, so we’ve been on tour our entire relationship. I haven’t seen him since the honeymoon. I’ve been premiering my new video and single Stupid Girls, and out there laughing a lot and defending and explaining that there are intelligent life forms on this planet. (Laughs)

Anything that surprises you about married life compared to your expectations?
Not really. It’s only been three weeks and we haven’t spent a lot of time together, but we’re so down and we’re so cool with each other. It’s just easy for us. We’re really fond of each other.

Are there children in your future?
I hope so, but no time soon. (laughs) I’m not ready.

What color will their names be?
No funny names. Carey is very adamant about that because he feels like he has a girls’ name and he got up a lot because of it. All my weird names he’s already thrown out. (Laughs)

Stay strong, Pink.

Rascal Flatts Offers Pink Some Southern Comfort
PEOPLE

Rascal Flatts lead singer Gary LeVox is reaching out to his pal Pink after it was confirmed to PEOPLE that she is splitting with her motocross husband Carey Hart after two years of marriage.

"It's just sad and I feel terrible," LeVox tells PEOPLE. "If she needs some love she can come to us at Rascal Flatts camp."

The Grammy award-winning band is friends with the "Get This Party Started" singer. The artists have tried to collaborate on a song in the past but have not been able to do so yet.

"We were going to [work together] on this last album, a song called "Help Me Remember," but Pink was in Europe. Our schedules never worked out," LeVox explained at the J.C. Penney's launch of the American Living clothing line Tuesday in New York.

In the meantime, LeVox is offering the 28-year-old some southern comfort, saying, "She can give us a call anytime."

Pink: "Break Up Is Not About Cheating, Anger or Fighting"
Wednesday February 20, 2008

Pink wants the world to know that even though she filed for divorce yesterday, she still loves Carey Hart.

"The most important thing for you all to know, is that Carey and I love each other so so much," Pink blogged on her official site Wednesday — a day after her rep announced that the two had parted ways after two years of marriage.

"This break up is not about cheating, anger, or fighting," she continued. "I know it sounds like cliche bulls***, but we are best friends, and we will continue to be.

"He is a good man," she wrote. "One never knows the future, but mine and Careys' just might involve beach babies and sunshine one day. Just not right now.

"All I know at this point, is that I want to make the best album I can, and Carey wants to do the best possible job he can with everything he has going on," she wrote.

How Pink tried to save her marriage

Pink desperately wanted her marriage to Carey Hart to work — even until the very end. “She recently booked a seven-day vacation at The Kahala Hotel & Resort in Honolulu for the week of February 28,” an insider tells In Touch. “She asked for their most romantic beachfront suite.” But Pink, 28, canceled the $3,000-a-night romantic retreat with Carey. “Pink’s second honeymoon trip could have turned into her heartbreak holiday,” a friend reveals. Sadly, Carey, 32, and Pink’s separation was a long time in the making. A dancer on the singer’s summer 2007 tour tells In Touch that Pink “seemed very unhappy while on the road because she was just so fed up with her marriage.” Another friend adds, “They started talking divorce within a few months of their wedding and then they surprised everyone by deciding to work it out instead. But their split surprised no one.” “This breakup is not about cheating, anger, or fighting,” Pink wrote to fans on her official blog on February 20. Pink and Carey were married on January 7, 2006, in Costa Rica, but rumors have circulated of Carey spending time with other women, an insider tells In Touch. Pink was spotted walking with her dad in NYC on February 24.

Carey Hart: Pink Is the 'Love of My Life'
By Mark Gray

He may be in the middle of a divorce, but Carey Hart has nothing but good things to say about estranged wife Pink.

"Above and beyond everything, we are the best of friends and she is the love of my life," he told PEOPLE in Las Vegas Monday night, breaking his silence about their separation (announced last month). "We talk all the time."

The freestyle motocross star, speaking at the grand opening of Ago restaurant inside the Hard Rock Hotel, declined to comment further. Instead, the 32-year-old spent the remainder of the evening chatting with a small group of male friends inside he eatery, sipping red wine and taking a few pictures.

The hotel has become something of a safe haven for Hart, a Las Vegas native. This summer, he's slated to open a new bar, Wasted Space, inside the complex.

"It's about rock and roll decadence," he said. "It's everything a rock and roll bar should be – dark, gritty, comfortable with plenty of booze and a lot of loud, rocking-out music."

Hart met Pink at the 2001 X Games. They split for a time in 2003, but tied the knot with a non-denominational ceremony in Costa Rica in January 2006.

The singer, 28, has also been quick to defend her ex, calling him a "good man." She also insisted that their breakup is "not about cheating, anger or fighting."

Carey Hart Calls Pink the Love of His Life
OK!

They may have broken up, but don't expect a contentious divorce between Pink and Carey Hart. It seems like the two will follow in the amicable footsteps of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis.

“We’re the best of friends and we plan on remaining that way. She’s the love of my life," the motorcross racer tells Extra at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, reinforcing the couple's initial statement that "while the marriage is over, their friendship has never been stronger."

Such good friends they are that you can expect the Grammy-winning rocker to be front and center at the opening of Wasted Space, Carey's new club on The Strip. Pink will definitely be there to perform, the 32-year-old says.

“Of course. We are the best of friends. She will be there,” he confirms.

Carey's comments follow his ex's equally fond words over their relationship. Writing on her website following the break-up, the 28-year-old assured fans the divorce "not about cheating, anger or fighting" and that "Carey and I love each other so so much."

Pink also didn't rule out a possible reunion in the future.

"One never knows the future, but mine and Carey's just might involve beach babies and sunshine one day. Just not right now."

Pink’s Lap Dance

Although she only announced her split with husband Carey Hart two weeks ago, Pink appears to have moved on. Sitting on the lap of a new man last night, Pink, 28, seemed to be really enjoying herself at Hollywood's infamous Metal Skool at the Key Club. The duo got superclose and exchanged numbers at the end of the night, in between her performances with the band.

Pink Celebrates Single Life By Rocking Out

Pink 'celebrated' her marriage split with a raucous night out in Hollywood on Monday. The "Trouble" singer, who recently announced she had separated from her husband of two years Carey Hart, was spotted partying with longtime collaborator Butch Walker at one of her favorite Los Angeles haunts, the Key Club.

And Pink was not in the mood to mourn her marriage - she got the party started when she jumped onstage to join rockers Metal Skool, who perform at the venue every Monday night.

It isn't the first time Pink has joined the group onstage - she teamed up with the tribute act onstage in 2006.

One fans tells In Touch magazine, "She sang laying on the floor because she seemed too drunk to stand."

And it seems Walker is not only her producer and songwriting partner - he's her new man.

Key Club regulars spotted the pair "making out" and "looking very together", according to In Touch.

P!nk To the Rescue!
Posted Mar 18th 2008 12:08PM by TMZ Staff

Recently singled singer P!nk tried her darndest to save a stray pup yesterday on an L.A. freeway.

Unfortunately, the animal was so frightened it ran away from the modern-day hero and down a freeway ramp. Why would the poor canine be so frightened by P!nk? She's so, er, soft and tender.

Here's hoping the little doggie scampered off to safety -- and doesn't wind up dead in her pool.

Pardon? Why would they say something so nasty? Did a dog ever end up dead in Pink's pool? Did a person ever end up dead in Pink's pool? If so, I never heard about it.

Anyway, hurrah for Pink. I'm so glad she stopped and tried to save that dog. She may be crude and abrasive and whatever else but she's got a good heart.

Her song to the President with the Indigo Girls is one of my faves of last year.

P!nk's Painful Tribute to Departed Doggie
Posted Feb 9th 2007 1:15PM by TMZ Staff

P!nk will never forget her recently departed pooch -- especially since she inked his furry little face on her arm!

In late January, the singer returned home and found her beloved bulldog, Elvis, drowned in her backyard pool. The dog often took a dip but somehow didn't survive his last one.

The devastated songstress is an animal lover and supporter of PETA. Her body art memorial marks tattoo number 22. Elvis was a gift from Lisa Marie Presley.

Yes, Pink's dog drowned in her pool: http://gaycityusa.blogspot.com/2007/01/pin...ns-in-pool.html

Yikes! Thanks BobbyD, I did not hear about that. How weird for that dog, I've never even heard of such a thing and I've had dogs and pools all of my life.

Anyway, that makes what the previous writer said even worse! She stops to save a stray dog on the freeway and she has to take shit from some asshole about her tragically dead dog? Fuck him! (Or her, as the case may be)

PRICE FOR PINK

Page Six

March 27, 2008 -- PINK has agreed to pay an artist for appropriating his work without permission for a music video. Last year, Page Six reported that Vladimir Kush was suing Pink for featuring his painting "Contes Erotiques" in the video for her "U + Ur Hand." Kush told us yesterday: "I'm an artist and do not enjoy the litigation process, but if someone is wrongfully taking from my creations, I must defend my art."

Pink Hooked On Working Out

Pop star PINK is so hooked on working out when she's touring that her road crew worry that she's too pumped.

The Trouble singer admits her band and crew bosses staged an intervention on her last tour - because they thought she was hitting the gym too often.

She tells Allure magazine, "I'm very dedicated to staying in shape when I'm on tour. In fact, last year my crew staged an intervention to try to get me to stop going to the gym so much.

"I just get so into it. I love to sweat and I love to feel like a beast."

And she hates the idea of hitting 150 pounds, like she did over New Year three years ago.

She adds, "I didn't notice until I saw photos... I was like, 'Who is that? Is that me?'

"So I went to Big Bear Lake (California) with a friend for a month to study Muay Thai, which is a martial art that's similar to kick boxing."

Pink Goes Organic
By WENN

Pop star Pink has gone green after falling in love with cooking and gardening in Tuscany, Italy. The "Trouble" singer took a cooking course in Italy in 2006, but it was a trip through her chef teacher's garden that really turned her on to living off the land.

She says, "I've put in several raised beds of vegetables: swiss chard, kale, onions, tomatoes, grapes, broccoli, carrots. I'm even going to make my own wine. I love to be dirty, to get in the mud. And I can eat fresh, organic dishes every day."

And the pop star is always careful with what she eats - her diet consists of greens, fish and the occasional cheese treat: "I allow myself one piece of cheese with one cracker a day."

Pink Moves In With Guitarist Morse?
By WENN

Pink is moving on fast after her split from husband Carey Hart. She has reportedly moved in with new beau Todd Morse.

The pair prompted reports they were dating when they were recently spotted frolicking in the sea together in California. Recent sightings of Pink with the rocker -- a member of Juliette Lewis' band -- appear to have confirmed their dating status.

Now sources tell Star magazine Morse "is living in her Malibu home, and they are having a blast."

They add, "She is totally infatuated with him. He's very confident and cool and a lot of fun to hang out with."
