Ivanka Trump: Dad Wants Me to Date a Jock

As the Trump Organization's vice president of real-estate development, Ivanka Trump has to follow the advice of the head of the company, Donald Trump.

But her dad's advice on her love life is a another matter. "He has very strong opinions – which I try not to listen to," Trump, 24, who costarred with The Donald on the most recent season of The Apprentice, tells Stuff magazine in its September issue.

The type of guy her father would have her date? "He loves the athletes because he's always wanted to be an athlete," Trump says. "He's into guys' guys. But when he starts talking about it, I stop listening."

Given her father's tough-guy reputation, she likes to take "as long as possible" before introducing him to a beau, although she insists her dad is nothing like his TV persona.

"He's really a laid-back, mellow guy, but people have a level of anxiety prior to meeting him," she says. "I don't think he's much different from any other father. He's protective, but I'm sure there are fathers who are much worse. He hasn't threatened bodily harm to any of the people I've dated. Well, as far as I know."

Trump has some celebrity crushes she wouldn't mind bringing home to Dad. "I love Joaquin Phoenix," she says. "He has a very sexy thing going. I don't go for the typically handsome guy. Although I love Christian Bale; I think he's sort of an Adonis."

For now, though, she's happy with her social life. "I like to have fun with my friends and go out at night, but you're not going to find me dancing on top of tables or see me trashed outside of Bungalow 8."

Finally, asked if The Donald has ever gone to his daughter for advice on his love life, she says, "God, no! I've certainly tried to give it to him, but he's never solicited it."

Jeez, could she be any more airbrushed on that magazine cover?

She seemed quite chubby to me while on The Apprentice, or was that just the really unflattering outfits she wore all the time.....? Either she's lost a lot of weight since then, or she is airbrushed out the wazoo here!
Freckles
I've seen her often on TV and even though she looks gorgeous in that cover photo, I don't think she's anything but funny-lookin' without the massive air-brushing. NOT a pretty girl. But... what can I expect with genes from The Donald and Ivana.

ODD COUPLE?
Page Six

October 2, 2006 -- IVANKA Trump is gorgeous, successful, and . . . dating Lance Armstrong? Though hard to believe, that's the rumor on the West Coast. And Trump, who will be the new spokeswoman for Tiffany as well as working at her father The Donald's firm, has been spending a lot of time in L.A. recently shooting "The Apprentice." Armstrong is also known for having an eye for hot women and was most recently linked with Paris Hilton. A rep for Trump didn't return calls.

FOREVER TRUMP
Page Six

October 27, 2006 -- IVANKA Trump loves her last name, but it doesn't mean she's just another daddy's girl. The Donald's beautiful daughter told ABC in a yet-to-air interview she will always go by the last name Trump, even after she marries, because it makes sense professionally, The Post's Dan Mangan reports. And when Ivanka does get hitched, she wants to have a bunch of little Trumps romping around her luxury apartment. Just don't suggest that anyone other that Ivanka paid for that pad. She gripes to ABC that she was peeved to read two years ago in The Post that her dad laid out the cash for her digs at Trump Park Avenue, when in fact she says she footed the $1.5 mil after haggling with him.

Because every twenty something year old with famously rich parents earn $1.5 mil for a condo the old fashioned way - without help from the parents - WHO is she fooling?

Did she have facial work done-- (thinning of the lips or something?).
She looks pretty lately and she was always an ugly duckling!

BIRTHDAY GIRL
Page Six

October 31, 2006 -- FORGET the Lance Armstrong rumors - Ivanka Trump spent Saturday night with her new man, "That '70s Show" star Topher Grace. The well-upholstered heiress celebrated her 25th birthday in Las Vegas, where spies say Grace was Trump's date. They canoodled on the balcony during dinner at Social House with a group including Grace's former co-star Wilmer Valderrama. Then, at nightclub Pure, they closed the curtains around their private table for a half-hour. The couple "never left each other's sides," said our source.

Pals Fear For Boozing Ivana

IVANA Trump's friends are increasingly worried about her hard partying, and were shocked when she had to be carried out of Barbara Davis' Carousel Ball (more below) Saturday night in Beverly Hills.

"Ivana is really out of control," said a West Coast pal. "She's drinking and partying more than ever, and we are all really concerned."

The bouncy Czech and her boyfriend, Rossano Rubicondi, had one of their famous fights the day before, and Ivana was still upset as she dressed for the gala.

According to insiders, Trump, 57, had told several people she would go to the Carousel Ball with them - but at the last minute called her agent and longtime pal, William Morris chairman Norman Brokaw, and insisted on going with him and his daughter.

Trump left Rubicondi at the Beverly Hills Hotel. By the time the Brokaws and Trump arrived at the Carousel Ball at the Beverly Hilton, Trump was visibly "out of it."

One red carpet spy said, "She had Norman hold one arm and had his daughter hold her other arm because she was wobbling so much . . . Finally, someone heard Norman say, 'You can't stay here like this, you must go home.' "

A good samaritan who was watching the unsteady Ivana told Brokaw, "I will take care of her and make sure she gets home safely."

"Norman was shocked and looked really embarrassed by the whole event," said a spy. "I don't think he has talked to her since."

Ivana's rep, Catherine Saxton, said, "Ivana just had a bit of a flu bug. Before she was in L.A., she had been in the Czech Republic, St. Tropez, Paris and Palm Beach and somewhere along the way picked up a flu bug. So, on that night, she took some NyQuil before heading to the ball. She went home in a friend's car."

Sources say the former model and first wife of Donald Trump sought treatment for her drinking earlier this year. In August, we reported that an out-of-control Trump was thrown out of Monte Carlo nightclub Jimmy's after a raging fight with Rubicondi.

One Web site reports, "More recently, she has taken to calling friends late at night and leaving rambling, incoherent voice mails."

Ivanka Trump & Topher Grace Cozy Up
WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 01, 2006 07:30AM EST

Ivanka Trump and Topher Grace got close this weekend in Las Vegas, where she celebrated her 25th birthday on Saturday at Pure nightclub.

Trump and Grace – who starred as Eric Forman on FOX's That '70s Show and plays the villainous Venom in the upcoming Spider-Man 3 – danced and cuddled on the VIP bed and even shared a quick kiss during the party, which was also attended by Ryan Cabrera, Chelsea Handler and Maroon 5's Adam Levine.

Trump and Grace, 28, who got into the Halloween spirit by wearing a Teen Wolf mask (though he took it off for the kiss), left holding hands.

Is there a romance brewing? Trump's rep did not return calls, and Grace's told PEOPLE, "I don't comment on Topher's personal life."

Before the birthday bash, Trump, Grace and friends – including Grace's That '70s Show costar Wilmer Valderrama – had dinner at the Las Vegas restaurant Social House, and on Friday, they dined with a few other friends at Bellagio's Fix.

Trump, vice president of development and acquisitions for her father Donald's Trump Organization and a regular on his NBC reality show The Apprentice, recently went on "several dates" with Lance Armstrong, but told PEOPLE early this month, "I have tremendous respect for Lance and all he has accomplished. That said, we are just friends."

A Socialite's Life

Ivanka: "I'm Not Paris!"

Whatever you do, don't accidentally mistake Ivanka Trump for a certain hard-partying blonde heiress. From The Post Chronicle:

The 25-year-old daughter of The Donald was quoted by TeenHollywood.com on Monday as saying she's not part of the heiress community despite a fortunate choice of fathers. "Just being lumped into that heiress category is somewhat annoying," she said, adding "I work my (rear) off. She added that while she knows the glittery Hilton, the two "don't hang out" and have nothing in common other than coming from wealthy parents.
Yeah, that would be annoying.

I wonder if that's why she got the implants--so people could differentiate between the two of them. I guess that would be as good an excuse as any.
Freckles
I am certainly not a fan, but at least she got herself an education, unlike Paris, Lilo, Brit, et al.

Ivanka Trump: I Love My Dad's Hair
SATURDAY JANUARY 27, 2007 06:00 AM EST
People.com

Donald Turmp's right-hand man is a woman. Sure, she's his daughter, but Ivanka Trump is also a Wharton-educated 25-year-old who knows what it takes to work for her dad.

He's been her boss since 2005, and she is currently his vice president of development and acquisitions. The Donald's daughter talks to PEOPLE about the show, the Rosie row and her dad's hair:

Are you qualified to hire and fire people?
I'm in that position in my daily life. Plus, I know my father better than anyone else. If you don't work well with (him), you don't stay long. It's as simple as that.

How do you feel about the Rosie feud?
I defend my father when I think he's right – and in this case, I do. But people are obsessed with this story!

Have you been to the tents on The Apprentice?
Yeah, they're bad! Those people must really want to work at the Trump Organization. If you're living in a tent for six weeks, it's not just about getting your face on television.

Do you like working on TV?
I've been offered tons of shows, (including) The Bachelorette. I'm flattered, but that in no way furthers my objective of being a great real estate developer.

So, we gotta ask – what's your take on your dad's hair?
Maybe I'm just used to it, but I love his hair! I've heard all sorts of crazy things, but I can verify with complete conviction that it's not a hairpiece. It is what it is!

She worked for a year for someone else, to prove she was capable of doing the job, before he would hire her. And she's always quick to say if she screws up, she knows he'll have no problem firing her wink.gif

I think she is beautiful also. I don't like her breast implants, because they seem to make her so topheavy, and her clothes don't look right on her anymore. It's a shame. sad.gif

Ivanka Trump: 'Zero Chance' I'd Join The View
People

Ivanka Trump is shooting down recent reports that she might be the newest co-host to fill one of the empty seats on The View.

"There's zero chance I would do that," The Donald's daughter told Ryan Seacrest during his KIIS FM radio show on Tuesday.

Earlier this week, the New York Post's Page Six reported that Trump was among the candidates being considered to replace Rosie O'Donnell.

"I'm working on the sexiest projects around the world," said Trump, who is the Vice President of real estate development and acquisitions for her father's company. "So to me to be on a television show every single day at a designated period of time just wouldn't work for my schedule."

When Seacrest asked if she'd been offered the position, Trump replied: "I've gotten a lot of requests – let's just leave it at that."

"Have you had a conversation with Barbara Walters?" Seacrest asked her. "Not with Barbara personally, no." She said.

As for Walters's relationship with Donald Trump, which allegedly chilled after the blow-out between him and O'Donnell, Ivanka said it's not an issue for her.

"I think Barbara Walters is terrific. I think she's done a great job. She has had differences with my father," she said. "I think his problems mostly lay with Rosie, and somehow that sort of boiled over. But I think Barbara's great, and the show is much better today than it was."

Despite saying she won't accept a permanent co-hosting job, a temporary gig isn't out of the question.

Asked if she'd consider sitting in on the show for a week, Trump answered: "That could be interesting."

Ivanka Trump to Join Trump Board
Jul 14, 2:52 PM EST

The Associated Press

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. -- Heiress and former runway model Ivanka Trump is joining the board of the gaming company that bears her flamboyant father's name.

"She's been outstanding in everything she has done, and she will be an outstanding board member," Donald Trump told The Press of Atlantic City for Saturday editions.

Ivanka Trump will join the board of Trump Entertainment Resorts Inc.

The 25-year-old already has some experience to draw from: She was her father's sidekick on his reality television show "The Apprentice."

She currently is a vice president with the Trump Organization, which controls Trump hotels, real estate holdings and golf courses, and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, one of the nation's top business schools.

Before joining the board, Ivanka Trump must get a license from the state Casino Control Commission. The agency is expected to grant her preliminary approval as soon as Wednesday.

Casino regulators will conduct a background check to make sure she has done nothing that would disqualify her from holding a gambling license.

Ivanka Trump Aims to 'Have Fun' With Her Looks

Life's great for Ivanka Trump, who admits there are real advantages to "being young, blonde and, if you will, looking a certain way."

"I'm 26," the devoted daughter of the Donald and his ex, Ivana Trump, tells The New York Times in a new profile, "and I tell myself, 'Why not have a little fun with that?' "

But mostly, the paper reports, Trump is about work. "Real estate is my life," she tells the paper. "It is my day job, if you will. But it consumes my nights and weekends, too."

"As a principal of this company," she says of the family's Trump Organization, "I negotiate all the deals I'm working on. If people think I'm just the boss's daughter, they're deceived."

Nor should anyone think, despite the family's extensive residential holdings, that Ivanka lives rent-free – in fact, she's busy paying down the mortgage on her $1.5 million apartment at Trump Park Avenue.

Being in the Public Eye
The Times notes that Ivanka has successfully avoided the type of scandal that seems to have followed another 26-year-old heiress, Paris Hilton, but the paper can only get Trump to admit to a relationship with real-estate heir and publisher Jared Kushner. Beyond that, there's no comment.

"There are enough stories about my family," she says. "We have all been in the public eye. And we understand the process."

Finally, when it comes to the reports that Trump's face and figure have been surgically altered to help in her "looking a certain way," she responds that the Trumps have a thick skin when it comes to their images. "I grew up watching my father on Saturday Night Live," she says. "You may remember, in some of those skits, they had him dressed up like a chicken."

IVANA-FIANCE ROW DRAWS COPS
Page Six

March 28, 2008 -- FRIENDS of Ivana Trump are crossing their fingers and praying the bouncy Czech and her Italian stallion, Rossano Rubicondi, can stop fighting long enough to actually get married on April 12.

The combative couple were bickering so badly the night of March 17, St. Patrick's Day, that Palm Beach police received a 911 call at 11:23 p.m. and responded to Ivana's mansion on Jungle Road.

"There was a disturbance," a police spokeswoman told Page Six. "No one was arrested."

A Florida source said Rubicondi, 35, who is 24 years younger than Donald Trump's first wife, was briefly handcuffed by the cops, who released him after talking to his tired and emotional fiancιe.

"The whole thing is ridiculous," said one friend of the couple. "They've been fighting ever since they met each other, and the only reason anyone can imagine for why they are getting married is for the publicity."

OK! magazine is said to have bought exclusive rights to the wedding photos for $1 million. Guests have been warned that all cellphones and cameras must be checked at the reception desk. To make sure the photos are stunning, all the women have been told to wear pastel gowns - but not pink or yellow - and men are instructed to wear white suits, white shirts, and white ties.

Other sources said the two were still fighting over the prenuptial agreement that Ivana wants the penniless Rossano to sign to protect her considerable assets, which include a townhouse on East 64th Street, houses in St. Tropez, a chic flat on London's Eaton Square and the Palm Beach estate.

Donald Trump, who has written extensively on the necessity for prenups, reportedly assigned one of his lawyers to draft the document, and will "go nuts" if it isn't signed soon, we're told.

The Donald is quasi-hosting the event at his Mar-a-Lago club, with a rehearsal dinner around the swimming pool the night before, and the reception in the ballroom for 550 guests, including Robin Leach, Dr. Ruth Westheimer, Rick and Kathy Hilton and Neil Sedaka, who will perform, as well as a troupe from Cirque du Soleil.

Ivana, who selected six gowns from the couture shows in Paris in February, will be given away by her sons, Donald Jr. and Eric. Her maid of honor is daughter Ivanka, but there will be 24 other bridesmaids and an equal number of groomsmen.

By the way, just want to give Ivanka ups for bidding on the dinner with Trace Adkins on the final Celebrity Apprentice. I'm heartbroken he lost, but I have a feeling his charity is getting hit with donations big time from people who feel like I do (I gave a donation).

Our social snitch told us, "It's embarrassing. He has nothing better to do than to remind us to vote for him on the hour every hour to win and is taking it so seriously." POST A MUST-READ FOR IVANKA

June 18, 2008 --

IVANKA Trump says that as kids, she and her brothers Donald Jr. and Eric learned the tawdry details of their parents' scandalous divorce by reading The Post. The gorgeous blonde tells next month's Town & Country they found out Donald was caught carrying on with model Marla Maples from this newspaper. "We'd come home from school having read [about] them on the cover of The Post," she reveals. The most jolting possibly being: "Marla Boasts to Pals about Donald: BEST SEX I EVER HAD." Ivanka also takes a dig at her peers who don't work for a living: "I'm not the type to be eating bonbons all day. I just can't imagine anything worse than spending my day figuring out what I was going to wear that night." Meanwhile, she flew commercial to Aspen last weekend for the Annual Food & Wine Classic, but had an unexpected one-night layover in Salt Lake City due to storms. She slept at the Quality Inn and ate at Little Caesars for dinner with her $18 stipend from the airline.

Man accused of stalking Ivanka Trump arrested

A 27-year-old man accused of stalking Ivanka Trump has been arrested in Reno.

Police said Justin Massler of Reno was arrested Tuesday on a New York warrant alleging he used the Internet to stalk the daughter of Donald and Ivana Trump.

Ivanka Trump, 28, is the co-host of "Celebrity Apprentice" and a vice president at her father's real estate company.

Massler described himself in a blog posting as "a celebrity stalker who is obsessed with Ivanka Trump" and has a longing to see her.

"He has been doing postings all over the Internet. (He has done) nothing physical or face to face," Reno police Lt. Mike Whan told The Associated Press.

His mother, Randee Massler of Reno, said he has a history of mental illness.

"He never harmed anyone and hasn't done anything other than write articles on the Internet," she told the Reno Gazette-Journal. "He's like a 10-year-old who has a crush on a movie star."

He remained Thursday without bail in the Washoe County Jail in Reno.

Whan said it was not immediately clear whether Massler planned to waive or fight extradition.

New York police Detective William Winning said he did not have any immediate information on the case.

Obsessed fan asks author to help 'win over' Ivanka Trump

An obsessed fan who is charged with harassing Ivanka Trump online is convinced he can "win her over" - once he is out of the "doghouse," according to a new report.

Justin Massler set up a fan blog about the businesswoman and in a post earlier this year, revealed he had attempted to telepathically connect with her.

Massler was subsequently detained by cops in Reno, Nevada after an arrest warrant was issued in New York, where Trump lives.

The man appeared at Manhattan Criminal Court on Thursday, April 1 and was charged with six crimes, including stalking in the third degree.

He was subsequently released on $16,000 bail, and ordered to stay away from the daughter of TV tycoon Donald Trump.

But after just three days out of prison, Massler allegedly sent a bizarre email to bestselling author Tucker Max, urging Max to "talk him up" to Trump.

In the message, sent on Sunday and obtained by the New York Daily News, Massler allegedly wrote, "Obviously right now, she is probably not that into me since she filed the stalking charges and I'm in the doghouse with her, but later on I'm going to try and recover and then actually win her over.

"Talk me up, perhaps saying, 'Oh yeah, he's a cool guy who just has insanity problems at times, but if he recovered from insanity, he would be cool.'

"I would be the first deranged stalker to later end up (with) the exact chick who originally sought to have him put in jail."

Meanwhile, Massler's mom Randee has apologized to the Trumps for any distress her troubled son has caused: "He wrote nasty things and crossed the line. I can feel for Ivanka Trump and her family. If he caused her to be afraid, I'm very sorry for that."
