Jennifer Hudson's Son's Puppy Pals

Jennifer Hudson's son loves growling like a dog.

The singer-and-actress says seven-month-old David - her first child with fiance David Otunga - enjoys spending time with the family pets and is already trying to mimic them.

She explained: "The baby loves the dogs. He's always trying to play with them and he thinks he's one of them. He even growls like the dogs and I'm like, 'Are you growling?'

"We were just on the plane the other day and he was growling at the broccoli that he was playing with. He was like, 'Arrrrr!' He growls at the other babies and he think that's how you're supposed to communicate."

Jennifer is loving every minute of being a mother and is amazed at how quickly the baby is developing.

The 28-year-old star added to US TV show 'Access Hollywood': "He's great. He's steadily growing. He's crawling now.

"I'm just loving being a mom."

Jennifer Hudson is Weight Watchers’ new celeb spokeswoman, the company announced Thursday morning.

Ads featuring the Oscar and Grammy winner, 28, begin airing this Sunday.

Hudson and fiance David Otunga welcomed their son David Jr. last August. Now, she's even thinner than before she was pregnant, the new issue of Us Weekly reports.

"Her middle, thighs and butt are more toned than ever," pro Harley Pasternak, who leads her through 55-minute, lunge-filled workouts five days a week, tells Us.

"She's excited about her new body," Pasternak adds.

Jenny McCarthy and Sarah Ferguson have also served as Weight Watchers spokespeople.
