If Lindsay gets any real mental health help at UCLA and is compliant with her treatment, AND combines that with the personal-accountability bent 12 Steps, the LAST thing she's going to want to release is her psychotic ramblings that surely blame everyone else in the world for her mess. that being said, I'm sure she'll make money on this, but I'm with Maxie: she won't use it to pay her UCLA bill.

What she wants time for is the friggin' INTERVIEW that she's going to make big money on. come on, Judge Revel, make her go STRAIGHT to rehab and kill that deal. And when do we start the boycott of the entity that pays for that crap?

I don't think I've seen anyone disagree with the sentence! I would like to see her serve the 23 days though, so less than 2 weeks is very disappointing.

I got Lasik about 8 years ago, and it is great for all the reasons already stated (especially the swimming part). It took about a month before I stopped pounding on my bedside table upon awakening to feel for my glasses. The only caveat: if you are genetically predisposed to need reading glasses at some point, Lasik does not stop this and in fact appears to accelerate the process. I know it has happened to me and to a co-worker who got the Lasik about a year after I did. (We are both in our 40s, so it's not like we had readers hanging from our neck during our swinging single days). I highly recommend it: I wore glasses from the time I was 9 years old, so I love it.

considering she's already gotten visitors, she's clearly getting special treatment. Way to enable, guys! More than ever I hope this girl tanks bigtime when she gets out. She's an obnoxious, entitled bitch, and I'm sick of people giving her "sympathy" because she had bad parenting and "a disease" (and before I get nasty IMs, I do believe it is a disease, but it has a TREATMENT which requires you to quit being an obnoxious, entitled bitch.) She's old enough to know better.

For anyone else who didn't know the definition under this context: Troll: One who purposely and deliberately (that purpose usually being self-amusement) starts an argument in a manner which attacks others on a forum without in any way listening to the arguments proposed by his or her peers. He will spark of such an argument via the use of ad hominem attacks (i.e. 'you're nothing but a fanboy' is a popular phrase) with no substance or relevence to back them up as well as straw man arguments, which he uses to simply avoid addressing the essence of the issue. Geez, I was thinking it should include a clarification that certain PR firm employees are paid to troll. Surely Oksana has hired someone to manage her reputation by now.

As long as her "support" system encourages and allows her to continue to drink, abuse drugs and not take responsibility (ahem, Dina Lohan, I am talking to you) this won't be her wake up call at all. I'm really not sure what would need to happen for Dina to acknowledge that "this child", which is how she always refers to 24yo Lindsay, can't keep living the way she has been. I think she has a chance if she disappears for a year and comes back lucid and calm. The Linda Lovelace film is, in my opinion, a huge mistake.

I'm not at all surprised she is getting the meds. The two weeks part kind of pisses me off, though. Now to see what kind of rehab she ends up in. She really needs to be in one that does NOT allow her off-site, unsupervised jaunts. As far as I'm concerned, her shopping is as much an addiction as anything else she does, and I'm serious.

Again, I don't see any pro-Mel here. But I refuse to forgive opportunistic, gold-digging, extortionist ways because she alleges she was hit. She's a pig too.

Completely on board with these sentiments. Thanks for putting it out there ladies. Yup, me too. They both give me the heebie jeebies. Mel's manopause came with a heavy price.

I'm with BobbyD on this one. I don't think a couple weeks in jail followed by a mere three months of inpatient rehab are going to help this girl. As much as I think he is a complete fame whore, I think Dr. Drew is right when he says she needs at least a year. She'll be partying hard again by Christmas. She clearly still thinks she is a victim, and you can only blame toxic parents for so long. I think her future is more along the lines of the Leif Garrett story.

Okay, now to see if she actually serves more than 2 hours.

She won't show up. I predict she got herself checked into a hospital.

I don't follow Melissa Etheridge at all, but from the little I do know about her, this seems inconsistent with her behavior and reputation. Maybe there is more to the story.

Well said, Dixie. The fact that she made the tapes is bad enough, because there was clearly a motive behind it, and extortion makes the most sense. The fact that she denies leaking them makes her even more disgusting. I crack up at her comments on one of the tapes "you've ruined my reputation." Wow.

So Shapiro says he'll represent her as long as she serves her time? Very funny! Great publicity ploy, Robert. NEXT! Oh man, it just occurred to me. He's got something up his sleeve. He must be negotiating with the sheriff's to either get her out immediately or get special treatment. Otherwise, she would NOT be in bed with him.

No one is saying she deserved to be hit, at least I'm not getting that. I'd love to know what happened between her and Timothy Dalton. I'll bet there is quite a story there. I'm guessing he dodged a bullet, and money was involved.
