The Jonas Brothers singer, 34, filed on Tuesday in Miami for a dissolution of marriage from the actress, 27, documents obtained by PEOPLE confirm. The filing claims "the marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken." Jonas and Turner have a prenup in place, per the divorce filing. Reps for the pair did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment on the split. The filing comes days after PEOPLE reported Jonas had retained a divorce lawyer, despite continuing to wear his wedding band. The couple first connected through Instagram DMs in 2016.

My corrupting uncle introduced me to Jimmy Buffett music in 1985, took me to my first Buffett concert in 1988. His death (4 year battle with Merkel cell carcinoma, rare skin cancer) hit me hard. I had a LOT of family and friends text me over the weekend to see how I was doing, which is funny (I introduced Buffett's music to all my friends, took so many people to their first concerts) Listened to a lot of Buffett music this weekend, happy I got to enjoy the music for so long. 💗💔

The newest person to go on is musical legend Jimmy Buffett. So far, it has not been said yet what sickness was on his plate. He was 76. I love the following duets that Jimmy did in country music. "Margaritaville" with Alan Jackson "Hey Good Lookin'" with George Strait, Alan Jackson, Clint Black, Kenny Chesney, and Toby Keith "Trip Around The Sun" with Martina McBride (I play this every year on my birthday.) I am seeing it said that legendary singer Sinead O Conner has gone forward due to mental disease issues. She was 56. Another recent departure is legendary singer Tony Bennett. He was almost 97 years old. His birthday is August 3rd. God bless you and their families always!!! Holly P.S. I never knew that Sinead was from Ireland.
