    Miley Cyrus

Oh, as a parent of teenage daughters, I can attest that she probably had no problem at all dressing "older than she is", and most likely wasn't exactly adverse to using the stripper pole... an event I wasn't aware of. Don't you remember being 16 and wanting to appear grown up because, after all, you knew EVERYTHING? And our society (movies, tv shows, even exercise videos) tells us that kind of over-sexualized stuff is totally cool. I do agree, however, that some of the decsions on her performances may be out of the hands of Miley or Billy Ray. I'd like to think Billy Ray would want the stripper pole out of the act, but who knows? Madonna and Britney do the S&M themed stuff all the time, right or wrong. And going too far, too fast with your boyfriend? Pfft. Welcome to my parenting world. I guess in conclusion I'd just say she's acting her age, just in the public eye. I even had to laugh that she cancelled her Twitter account, allegedly at the prompting of the new boyfriend. Uh huh, my daughters would do that.

    Biggest Loser - Families

I do have to say, however, that I worry about my husband's relatives. They are super nice people, but you never know how the edits go. I can't imagine they'd be scandalous, but I do know of a situation at home that does provide potential for drama. So I'll let you know when the show premiers so you guys can cheer them on.

    Biggest Loser - Families

I definitely think they are weighed in prior to what is filmed. The order is far too convenient to the drama of the situation to be random. But I still love this show. My favorite part is the end when they re-visit the person who was cut during that particular episode. I was so happy to see that Julio has already lost 105 punds.

    Biggest Loser - Families

Remember how I mentioned a ways back that some family members were close to being cast on this show but later were cut? Well, just found out... they are on the ranch now. Best kept secret in the family, the west coast contingency was completely in the dark until now. I'm really excited for them.

    Biggest Loser - Families

time to bump this again. I just love this show. For the first time ever, I totally think the producers are monkeying around to keep Tracey. I missed the first hour... what was up with her not working out???

    Survivor #19- Samoa

I agree that the producers are nudging Russell along -- that was obvious from the previews even before the episodes started. Which is why I stopped watching after the first episode. See ya guys in the snark sections.

    TAR - Amazing Race

Hoya, I had the same thoughts about the wasabi challenge. I would have sucked that thing down in less than one minute and been happy to have my sinuses cleared.

    TAR - Amazing Race

I like Zev, but that is probably because my daughter has Asperger's, so I have a soft spot for him for that reason. He was the one that noted that the poker player chicks did NOT exude the warm, caring attitude of "counselors to homeless kids." Good observation. And those two look like they are being set up to be the villains of the season. Probably rightfully so. I cannot stand Miss America and her husband. Can't put a finger on why, but the hissy fit with the ducks probably contributed. Although MANY of the players had hissy fits over that. I liked that better than the sushi challenge. I LOVED that Zev realized early on that remaining calm was the key. I felt sorry for the audience members in the sushi challenge. I'll bet they got way more than they bargained for, and some of the teams were inconsiderate.

This is so crazy, it must be true.

    Eric Dane & Rebecca Gayheart

Here you go: She looks a bit like like Mrs. Robinson! She does look a bit like Anne Bancroft there. I don't think she looks "awful." How old is she now anyway? My heart goes out to her with bitches like Lainey dropping "vehicular manslaughter" as clue to junkie BVs. Lainey, if karma exists, you are in for a pile of shit.

Megan Fox & Brian Austin Green

I think Megan Fox is the Poor man's something-or-other, so this Odette chick must be the dregs.

Megan Fox & Brian Austin Green

Oh, PUHLEEZE. Isn's she the one who was quoted as saying she doesn't need to be talented because she is "hot"?

You nailed it, Silliness. I was thinking she looks like a cheap Barbie doll.

Megan Fox & Brian Austin Green

Oh yeah. I'm sure you've gotten lucky more than once, big guy. And I'll also bet that little video will mysteriously find its way to the web soon. By the way, does anyone else feel like Megan Fox is getting shoved in our faces lately? I was beginning to think I was the only one who felt that way. I don't get her at all. Me either!

I think that sounds so sick and perverted. You are right, Maxiemom. That sounds like the foreplay to the casting couch.

    What are you reading?

I'm reading American Wife, and I'm reading a great tween novel called Esperanza Rising with my daughter. It is excellent, and my daughter is mystified that she is reading a book with me that brings tears to my eyes at the end of many chapters.

    Celebrity Acts of Dumbness

Funny that I don't remember the brand! But essentially it is Kyra dancing orgasmically around her kitchen with a glass of orange juice. As bad as that sounds, she actually pulls it off with just enough of a campy vibe.

    Celebrity Acts of Dumbness

The appearance of Kyra in that orange juice commercial was telling. But at least they are doing what they need to do (working!) rather than whining, so good for them.

    Celebrity Acts of Dumbness

The one that caught my eye was the individual investor named Richard Spring, who is listed as an investment analyst. He's either stupid or very, very greedy and got what he deserves.

And if I were her, I'd play down the fact that Shanon's reaction to losing weight was to join the Roller Derby.

    Biggest Loser - Families

I'm hoping we don't see much of Helen. Surely the producers know she's not popular. If they think she'll appeal to the baby boomers, they seem to have forgotten that most of us are parents who would have insisted that our kids take advantage of the opportunity to stay on the ranch. Ron may have been manipulative, but his instincts to work toward keeping his son in the game were far more in line with what people admire. I don't find Helen appealing in any way, and I'm roughly her age. Has anyone seen Michelle in any endorsements? I work out at 24 Hour Fitness, and Ali is still EVERYWHERE in that place. I haven't seen Michelle anywhere.
