One of the most unlikeable casts ever.
-
We are an acquaintance of her keyboardist, Alex Wright, who used to teach at the small studio where my daughter takes piano lessons. Bummer for all the people who depend on the tour for income, unless there is some way they get paid anyway.
-
I'm starting to wonder if this is a publicity stunt for her ratings-challenged show.
I was thinking the same thing.
-
It never made alot of money. Granted it was only in limited release (100 theaters according to boxofficemojo), but other films in limited release managed to gain traction and gain wider release. That didn't happen with this film. Her performance may have been noteworthy, but it wasn't enough to get it into wider release
Yes, but the gal who played her mom got at least a half dozen awards, and was nominated for an Oscar that year for that performance. (well deserved) I always think the indie/art house films give actors street cred. And she had Batman or whatever movie that was in her crosshairs at the very least. All the more reason I wonder if the unplanned pregnancy contributed to her decision to marry that monster. I don't think her career will ever recover from the joke she has become.
-
Oh my God. I just saw Pieces of April for the first time. How did she go from that performance to the horrible situation she is in today? Who told her she needed GMD to be successful? Very sad.
-
That bitch soooooo took that watch.

I can't stand this woman, but I think that NOT doing the Linda Lovelace biopic would be GOOD for her career. All I can think of when I hear this is: Dana Plato. She too resorted to soft core porn in her desperation, and look how she ended up.
-
And did anyone see the Starbucks pictures on TMZ? Why is her nexk so orange and everything else white?
that would be her "tan"
actually, looks like contouring designed to make her neck/chin look slimmer...not done too well, though
I thought it looked like her tan was wearing off, unevenly. What caught my attention were the bags under her eyes. Detox appears to be taking its toll.

Well more than 90 days in rehab will do that gal good. But....
From Alcoholics Anonymous, Chapter 5Rarely have we seen a person fail who has thoroughly followed our path. Those who do not recover are people who cannot or will not completely give themselves to this simple program, usually men and women who are constitutionally incapable of being honest with themselves. There are such unfortunates. They are not at fault; they seem to have been born that way. They are naturally incapable of grasping and developing a manner of living which demands rigorous honesty. Their chances are less than average. There are those, too, who suffer from grave emotional and mental disorders, but many of them do recover if they have the capacity to be honest.
There are just as many studies that say AA (who follow the 12 Steps program) work as studies that say it doesn't work. As someone who works in the industry that promotes materials that say the 12 steps work, I personally think it depends on the individual person. It's not "giving themselves to the program" - it's accepting you actually have a problem and want to do something about it. I love that AA helps a lot of people, but it is not the do-all answer that they promote. It doesn't work for everyone, even if they do accept they have a problem and are going to do something about it.
Now I think I'll have a drink
Yeah, but I seriously doubt Lindsay thinks she has a problem. Or, she thinks her problems are everyone else's fault. Here is some more evidence of her delusions that she can manuever her way out of this, and isn't taking this seriously:
Lindsay Lohan told her probation officer that continued, inpatient treatment would be a hardship financially, and damaging to her career ... this according to Probation Department docs obtained by TMZ.

Bumping this in anticipation of this morning's circus.... now chant with me: Jay-yul, Jay-yul, JAY-YUL!

I'm actually thinking about heading over there to get a t-shirt, since it is pretty close. But I'm sure everyone else has the same idea.TMZ is reporting that West Coast Choppers in Long Beach is getting shut down "to concentrate on his other bike shop in Austin".
Never thought I'd see the day that WCC got shut down.

JAIL! Then rehab. Back to the original sentence. I don't think it bodes well for her that she skated out of both portions in far less time than was intended. Time to put this gal on the death watch countdown.

Happy Days tv dad Tom Bosley has died at age 83.
Tom Bosley has passed away at the age of 83 in his Palm Springs California home from complications of a staph infection.
Tom Bosley first started his acting career in 1963 when he co starred with screen beauty Natalie Wood in the classic film "Love With A Proper Stranger." Tom Bosely is best known as his long running role as Howard Cunningham on the comedy show 'Happy Days."
Tom began his role as the famous Mr. C the father of Richie and Joanie Cunningham, he was always the supportive, understanding ,kind go to for advice role model on the show. He was liked and respected by his former cast members and will be greatly missed by many.
I forgot he was in Love With a Proper Stranger! He was so endearing as the nice guy/blind date she rejects. You almost rooted for him.

Bummer. I liked Ty. These people are morons.

Lindsay Lohan -- Escape Story Is BS
10/14/2010 7:00 AM PDT by TMZ Staff
Lindsay Lohan's lawyer says the story that Lindsay somehow tried to "escape" rehab to get a soda is "absurd and untrue."
Shawn Chapman Holley tells TMZ, she spoke with Lindsay's counselors yesterday and there was absolutely no mention made of any attempt by Lindsay to cross the line.
Holley adds, "The counselor gave Lindsay an unqualified glowing report on her progress."
TMZ first reported ... Lindsay is at the Betty Ford Clinic. We've independently confirmed ... there's a soda machine in Lindsay's ward, allowing her to walk a matter of feet in order to satisfy a caffeine fix.
Define "glowing."

aRRG! I was hoping this was bumped for yet another divorce announcement this week!!!

This from today's eonline/Awful Truth. I thought it pretty clearly pointed to Gwynnie and the pink Ralph Lauren dress she wore when she accepted her Oscar for Shakespeare in Love. She was supposed to have screwed Harvey Weinstein to get the part, non?
"
Dear Ted:
No names of course, but to your knowledge, have any "casting couch" castings resulted in a Best Actress Oscar win? (Or, to be fair, Best Actor?) I still have a hard time thinking of the most famous and respected actresses out there participate, but as you always say, it is Hollywood.

Dear Bingo:
Yes, and a very famous one directly resulted several years ago. Think pink."
WHoa! Awesome dirt!

Perez' callout for the IRS to audit Hohan kind of makes me laugh, but boy is that mean. You KNOW she doesn't report that income she gets from selling pap opportunities, and she could go to jail for a long time for that.
Well, that IS how Al Capone ultimately went down....
Yeah, and I hardly expect TMZ or Radar to send a 1099....
-
wonder how much she got paid for these ~exclusive~ photos
I don't know that she'll ever be able to be considered a "serious actress" again. Getting in bed with the paps as much as she does..... I would think it would be hard to get rid of that stigma.

Now I'm no drug addict by any stretch (and not only because I'm deathly afraid of needles), but isn't the tournequet placed ABOVE the vein that you're looking to raise? I can't imagine that routine lab work and heroin injections would be any different in regard to tournequet placement.
I was thinking the same thing.

Suri Cruise is one high class flier, the celebu-tot was snapped getting off a private jet in the Czech Republic.
One of the most genuine photos I've seen of her. She has ponytail head.
-
It dawned on me that she never gave that million dollar "post jail" interview. This relapse cost her a hell of a lot. I'm warming up my email fingers... as soon as I hear of any legit news organizations willing to pay for an interview now, I'm going to let them know that I'll boycott their stations/publications.
Biggest Loser - Families
in Television Chatter
Posted · Report reply
Thought I'd provide an update in case anyone is interested: weight is still off for both Darrell and Andrea. Others in the family have also lost weight (wife/mother Karolee, cousins, etc) and their lifestyles have changed for the better. Andrea is still with the production assistant she met while there, they appear to be very serious and he is a really nice guy who gave up show biz to be with her. I wince while watching this season, because Darrell said the footage does NOT exaggerate the intensity of the workouts. And it took MONTHS for Andrea to get her car. We gave her a hard time when we saw her about wining a foreign-made car; anyone who knows anything about Michigan knows that she probably gets some jabbing for driving one there. They are all very, very happy and consider BL, hard as it was, to be an enormous blessing.
