  1. I basically watch the show for Lisa and Malik - for some reason I'm not into the adults.

Yes, that story line is hilarious too. The girl who plays Lisa nails that part. But I think they all do, even the guy who plays Lisa's creepy brother -- the last episode even gave him a bit of humanity. Love this show.

  2. I'm already seeing the mean gossip jokes that now we'll see an engagement from Jennifer Aniston as a desperate attempt to draw attention to herself, a "race to the alter." I do think that is what is going on, but I think Angelina can't stand the fact that Jennifer is moving on, and SHE is the one trying to make sure she marries Brad before Jennifer gets married. These two make me want to puke.

Lindsay Lohan Is a Redhead Again

    people.com

New work, new hair … is Lindsay Lohan actually staging a comeback?

The actress returned to her roots Thursday, entering a Los Angeles salon with blonde hair and leaving with red. Lohan rose to fame as a redhead, sporting the locks in her early hits like The Parent Trap and Mean Girls. After her trip to the salon, Lohan ran errands with sis Ali — who happened to cut her hair earlier this week.

Lohan has changed hair colors a lot in recent years, generally bouncing between brunette and bright blonde. So perhaps her return to red signifies yet another change; last week, she told Matt Lauer that partying “isn’t my thing anymore,” and last month, a Los Angeles judge told her she “seems to be getting [her] life back on track.”

OMG, she must have been reading our posts and finally listened!! :D

MUCH better. But that still isn't her hair, is it? Seems I've seen some bad extensions hanging from that bloated head of hers.

  4. I didn't see it. How bad was it?

Gawker review & commenters said that a couple skits were ok (consensus that Real Housewives of Disney was the best) but that her acting was terrible, she was reading cue cards all the time - not well - but they also panned the writing and said it was clear none of the SNL writers wanted to give her good material. So......

Hmm. Although I must say, that pretty much describes nearly every SNL episode I've bothered to watch in the last 10 years. (I'm old-school snobby: Chevy Chase, Lorraine Newman, Gilda Radner, Garrett Morris, etc -- when I was in junior high)

  5. Is anyone else watching this? It's smart and hilarious. And for those of you who are watching: I LOVE the direction they are going with George and Dallas. They do an EXCELLENT job, both writers and the actor, of humanizing Dallas despite her over-the-top stereotype.

  6. If ... their only 2 choices are Megan Fox and Lindsay,

This. THIS IS WHAT'S WRONG WITH HOLLYWOOD. There are LITERALLY hundreds of women (and probably even men!) who could pull that role off better than Lohan or Fox. So why are these the people we're hearing about?

I don't think Lifetime should do it at all.

If it's between Fox and Lohan, I agree. And I tell you for certain I would not watch it. -_-

I really think this is another case of a producer using Hohan to pump up visibility in his project, ala Lovelace, but has absolutely no intention of actually hiring her for the job. Lindsay can't shake that coke-gravel voice, so how is she going to play the (at least outwardly) refined Liz?

  7. 1. "A tipster emailed us that this actress, who is trying to whip herself into shape in rehab, was using on-set doctors to get multiple prescriptions for pain pills. The docs kept quitting because their feared for the licenses, but the producers kept finding more MDs to give her whatever she wanted. Things got so bad that she was even having unnecessary dental work just so she could get the attendant prescription." [Gawker]

    Not so very blind, eh?

So PR is trying to get us to believe it's Red Bull & whip-its. I've heard Adderall as well. But in truth probably the pain pills?

Also a Gawker commenter noted she's a longtime AA attendee and her sponsor died in November? I can't imagine what that kind of loss (on top of a divorce) would do to an addict- esp if she's had the same sponsor for a number of years?

(lots of Gawker commenters - I swear they must be so young - commenting how weird and awful it is that Demi was out partying with her daughter Rumer. When my mom and I were single and in grad school - we used to go out together all the time. We share friends. We're still mother and daughter - and when I was growing up, she definitely was a MOTHER and not my best friend - but I'm an adult, she's an adult - and we LIKE each other. We enjoy spending time together. We value the same qualities in our friends - so some of our friends are the same, all age ranges. This is not weird to us. What's strange to me is all the ageism being expressed.....)

But on-set doctors? When is the last time Demi worked?

  8. If it's on the cover of People, it must be sanctioned by their PR. Ah well. I really liked them as a couple - and, by Hollywood/celeb standards, they lasted pretty long too.

Wonder who he'll start dating? Lainey says - he has a type (Kate Moss, Winona Ryder, vanessa Paradis - all thin, lanky even, and quirky.....Blake Lively is NOT his type ;-)

so we can expect to see Angelina take another stab at this one?

  9. From ok magazine online. Clearly this is going to be one A+ flick.

    -----

LINDSAY LOHAN is facing tough competition to play Hollywood legend DAME ELIZABETH TAYLOR on U.S. TV - MEGAN FOX is also in the running for the role.

Fans of the Cat On A Hot Tin Roof icon were surprised when the troubled Mean Girls star was named as one of the frontrunners to play her in the Lifetime network biopic, which will focus on Taylor's love affair with Richard Burton.

Now executive producer Larry Thompson has revealed he has also been in talks with Fox about the sought-after part.

He tells E! News, "I've been talking to Lindsay Lohan directly, and with her reps, and have been in conversations with other actresses, including Megan Fox.

"It's a very serious selection. It's like casting for Hollywood royalty."

Yup, a Lifetime movie. I guess Melissa Gilbert wasn't available.

  10. Interesting...

Lohan Playboy Sales are on Fire

Article talks about how many reorders have been made, how they are sold out all over the place.

at the bottom of the TMZ homepage is a link to THIS article (lumped in with dozens of other links)

Lindsay Lohan's Playboy Debut Falls Flat With Consumers, Retailers Say

    Hmmmmm.........................

Completely believe the Foxnews.com article in this case. No way are the sales out of control. She just doesn't command that kind of attention. Probably would have once upon a time....but not now.

Yeah, I believe the Fox News story too. Makes more sense than when I read the OTHER version earlier and thought "WHY??".

  11. Breaking News: Demi Moore Ends Marriage to Ashton Kutcher

    US Weekly

Margin Call actress Moore adds in her statement: "This is a trying time for me and my family, and so I would ask for the same compassion and privacy that you would give to anyone going through a similar situation."

Compassion and privacy does not = AP Press releases and Twitter feeds!

Maybe the pathetic bikini photo tweets will stop now.

  12. California jail system is a mess right now. As long as you are not a felon or violent crime, you'll get out within hours as long as under 90 day sentence (I think that's right...). Have a friend that works in San Diego county jail (local county jail, not state or federal prison). From their prospective, they are emptying everyone out to make room for all the state prison population that is about to be funneled in because of state budget cuts. Guards are freaking out, because you're going to have the job market flooded by a bunch of people with jail records that would have a hard enough time getting a job even in a good economy. After a few months of not being able to pay bills, they'll get into trouble again and end up back in jail. Then the state prison population that got transfered to local county jail are going to be pissed because they no longer have access to TVs, worse food, only outdoor time once a week instead of daily, etc. so they'll have more riots once the transfer happens because their benefits just got taken away. No one is happy right now, and in another few months everyone in the system thinks things are about to go wild....

    Scary stuff, Princess.

  13. Best part of the whole thing: when the judge said she looked into another women's shelter and they said they didn't want Linsday around because "they think you are a bad example to women trying to get back on their feet". The look on Lindsay's face was AWESOME!!!

anyone have a pic of this? I really need to see it.

TMZ has the video, it is in the sentencing phase.

  14. Yawn. Wake me when her punishment actually sticks......

It will be interesting. The judge made reference to the fact that jail time is hard to impose. I cannot believe that Lindsay will be able to finish those 16 hours, PER WEEK, prior to the hearing. Then what? It was enjoyable watching the judge slap down Shawn Holley's incredibly lame praise of Hohan's "progress."
