  1. What Gwynnie REALLY meant...

"When I was just starting out, someone, Harvey, suggested that we finish a meeting in the bedroom," she reveals. "I left after enthusiastically servicing him. I was pretty shocked that Winona didn't get freaky with him before I did. I could see how someone who didn't know better might worry, 'My career will be ruined if I don’t give this guy a blow job!'" Of course, being Fishsticks, I gave him anal and a golden shower, too; I enjoy being an over-acheiver and besides, mere blow jobs are so unfashionable!

This is awesome!!!!!! Thanks Freckles! :4biggrin:

  2. (Gracenote @ Jul 5 2010, 09:10 PM)

Asked that the court not award financial support to Michael's? That's ugly.

I think that's pretty standard in most high $ divorces though. Doesn't mean it's gonna happen, but I think most of the breadwinners ask that at the beginning of divorce proceedings

Yeah I'm sure it's standard, but it's so disappointing -Tammy is the mother of your children, so why let it get to that- give her the damn money!!! I've been a big fan of Melissa for a very long time and she gave the impression of being a completely caring and loving soul who would never fall prey to this petty nonsense. Plus it appears that Melissa was cheating and if Melissa f*ed up she should own up to it and do the right thing, especially knowing that it will get to the press and your fans will be watching. Melissa cheating suprised me, but only a little because that's show biz, right?!?! Fame seems to get to EVERYONE'S head, why should she be any different :(

It's just a sad story to me, I guess because I expected more from Melissa.

  3. Brittany Murphy's husband mourns

    By Lorenzo Benet, PEOPLE.com

    December 22, 2009 11:53 a.m. EST

Simon Monjack said his "world was destroyed," after losing his wife on Sunday.

Simon Monjack dialed 911, and watched medics attempt to revive his wife

Monjack said it had been a regular day until Murphy's mother called for his attention

Monjack said he and and Murphy were planning to have a child in 2010

A final autopsy report may take up to six weeks, a coroner's spokesperson said

(PEOPLE.com) -- A "devastated" Simon Monjack told PEOPLE his wife Brittany Murphy did not overdose on drugs and did not suffer from an eating disorder.

"These rumors that she was anorexic? It's crazy -- she was slim, but that was her natural physique," Monjack told PEOPLE. "This is what's killing all of us? How did it happen? Her mum, myself and her family -- we want to know why we lost our baby."

During a sometimes tear-filled interview, an exhausted Monjack, 39, who hasn't slept since his mother-in-law found his wife collapsed in the bathroom early Sunday, said all he knows is what doctors told him at the hospital: She died of cardiac arrest, but they won't know details until after an autopsy. (A coroner's spokesperson said the results could take up to six weeks, for toxicology reports to be final.)

"My initial reaction to the autopsy was -- they're going to cut her open -- I couldn't bear it," Monjack said, weeping. "That would break her mother, but we realized we needed to know. I look forward to getting the results."

He added that his wife of three years did suffer from a heart murmur (mitral valve prolapse), which can cause fatigue, dizziness and irregular heartbeats -- but is generally not life threatening. Murphy didn't require medication to treat it, says Monjack.

But on Saturday, he said, his wife was ill, resting in bed all day suffering from laryngitis, which the actress treated with herbal tea, ginger and lemon.

"She was on herbal remedies that wouldn't speed up her heart," Monjack said. "There was nothing here that could endanger her; there was prescription medication in the house for her female time and some cough syrup. That was it."

Asked point-blank if a drug overdose was a possible cause of death, Monjack replied, "I can get rid of that one right now," he said.

Last Saturday, the couple just relaxed in bed, watching three movies as Murphy prepared to cast her vote as a member of the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences. They ordered Brittany's favorite takeout -- Thai food -- and ate soup prepared by Murphy's mother, Sharon, who has lived with them for 3½ years.

"She was tired and a little sad because she was sick," Monjack said about Brittany. "She wore her pink Beverly Hills Hotel robe and monkey pajamas. We saw It's Complicated, Public Enemy and The Princess and the Frog.

The couple were joined by Murphy's companion, a pet Maltese named Clara, a Christmas gift last year from Monjack that Murphy named after her favorite silent screen star, Clara Bow. "One of the saddest things is that Clara has looked everywhere for Brittany and can't find her," said Monjack.

Monjack, a photographer, first met Murphy on a photo shoot when she was 13 after she moved to Hollywood with her mother, Sharon. They began dating after being reintroduced at Murphy's 28th birthday party and married a year later.

"So many people have their views of us, but they never met us or sat down with us," he said. "I'm not perfect, but I don't think anyone is ... I am feeling beyond devastated. I was in love with Brittany and Brittany with me."

The couple had plans for 2010: Brittany would continue to work, but she wanted to get pregnant.

"She was an only child," said Monjack. "She wanted a baby. Her big dream next year was to have a child, and we talked about how he or she would look. She'd say, 'They'd better have your eyes and lips and my hair.' "

But Monjack did concede his wife was trying to get heavier. "She tried to gain weight but had one of those metabolisms -- a high metabolism -- but enjoyed food as much as anyone. I wish I could show all the receipts from the take out restaurants," he said.

"We are faced with this ridiculous reality that people out there believe she felt, 'Oh, poor me, I'm fat, I'm thin.' Brittany didn't see beauty as a physical thing, which I'm bloody lucky for," he said with a laugh. "I know there was a disparity in how we looked and I'm no movie star, but she always saw the person."

Monjack said he has been upset by some of the published reports.

"It's horrible -- the death of a beautiful young woman, a Hollywood icon; it has to be explained. It just can't be a tragic accident," he said, trying to explain the headlines. "We don't want to accept that a beautiful young wife and daughter woke up one morning and died a tragic death."

But he's most worried about his mother-in-law. "I don't know if she will ever recover, and I know when she reads all this nonsense about her son-in-law and her deceased daughter, her heart is breaking. She has lived with us and saw the love and support. I hope she stays -- I can't imagine my life without Sharon -- she's my link to Brittany."

Monjack said Brittany's family arrived in town Monday and that funeral plans are pending.

Wow, he really got me with this- I'm a little teary. In all honesty, I feel terrible for him. I mean- they were married for a while now and both acted very happy and in love, so something must have been there. But then I remember that he had that incident on the airplane recently, and realize that they were probably both messed up druggy liars... it is still sad though, druggy or not he lost his wife :(

  4. Pink Turns To Scientology?

Pop star Pink has reportedly turned to Scientology to help her move on after her split from husband Carey Hart.

The pair's two-year marriage ended earlier this year, and friends reveal the singer has sought comfort from pal Juliette Lewis, who is introducing her to the controversial religion, which is popular with superstars such as Beck, Lisa Marie Presley, Tom Cruise and John Travolta.

A source tells Star magazine, "Pink is in the beginning stages of checking out the religion, but she has taken to it and she wants to get more involved."

OHMYGOD NO!!!!!!!!! I just can't believe that the woman who wrote "Stupid Girls" would even consider something so stupid!!!! I will not believe it, I need further proof. And if it is true, she was singing about herself all along!!!

  5. I like him and his humor, but it really didn't go over too well at the MTV awards. I think because this was the year of the Disney virgins, the "edgy" Brand was just too much for the show. Honestly it wasn't him that sucked as much as the show itself... just uncomfortable to watch.

Oh, and Russell- Americans don't really like being told by the rest of the world how to vote. That left a sour taste in many mouths, including my own and I AM for Obama!

  6. All this talk about Nicole Kidman's baby got me thinking- Nicole will get big bucks for the People baby pics, right? Well I recently saw a pic of Halle Berry & her man and I realized I've still not seen a pic of her baby!!! That is a disgrace, why have we not seen Halle's baby yet? I think there was even a BI about someone being pissed that there was no biding war over her baby pics and it's because she's black. You gotta admit there is probably truth to that and that is just terrible- I am just as excited to see her baby as any of the others. She is a huge star and any supposed lack of interest in her baby is pathetic, and I blame the rags, not us fans! <_<

  7. Simpson's Rep Denies 'Drunk' Radio Interview

A representative for Ashlee Simpson has denied claims the star was drunk during a radio interview on Tuesday, saying she was "simply just tired."

The 23-year-old appeared on Washington D.C.'s Hot 99.5 Kane in the Morning show, but attracted attention because she appeared to have trouble speaking and slurred her words.

But her spokesperson is adamant Simpson's behavior was due to her busy promotional schedule.

A representative for the star says, "Ashlee was absolutely not intoxicated this morning on Hot 99.5.

"She has been working extremely hard traveling across the country to promote her upcoming new album by performing at night and waking up very early the next day to do radio interviews in the morning -- like any of us would be -- she was simply just tired

OH- well since they say she "ABSOLUTELY was not intoxicated"... now I'll believe it!

Oh, and that tatoo- she's gonna regret that someday!!!

  8. from Perez

    Over Already!

Eddie Murphy and his new wife Tracey Edmonds have split up, People magazine reports on their new cover.

The pair got married just two weeks ago!!!!

We have a feeling this may something to do with money (or lack of it).

Murphy and Edmonds tied the knot on New Year’s Day on a private island near Bora Bora in French Polynesia. However, the marriage was not legally binding. Only residents can legally get married there.

The pair later said that they were planning on having a legally binding ceremony upon returning to the U.S.

    That never happened!

Eddie probably didn't offer her enough money in the pre-nup.

    And now…they're over!

Knowing Tracey, she will probably sell her story to OK! magazine. Bitch loves the spotlight and the money.

Perez really annoyed me with this one- he doesn't realize that she could probably buy and sell Eddie Murphy a few times over?!?!?!? Come on dude- I am one of your few supporters here, do your gossip homework!!

Also, that wedding picture a few posts up? About as phony looking as can be. Maybe the whole BS wedding thing was just to take the heat off him for denying the Spice Baby???

  9. Wow- I hate to say this, but I think she looks much better with the blond hair. This look totally wipes out the "prettiness" that her new nose achieved. Now with that dark hair back, all I see is that poor schlumpy little sister wanna-be rocker screwing up "You Make me Wanna La La" at that football game, or doing that sad lip sync jig on Sat Nite Live!!!! The new nose and blonde hair kinda made me forget it for a while.

    Sorry Ash. :)

  10. Has Eddie finally acknowledged paternity of Mel B's child and begun to pay child support? He is a cad.

    AGREED!!!!!!!!!

He had some nerve to deny that poor child strongly when it is quite clear that there was a good possibility it was his- just a real dirtbag move buddy. <_< I always liked him until that baby spice fiasco. She seems like a nut as well, but no excuse for that shady behavior when a child is involved!

  11. I hear you iluvgossip. I really liked the remake of Halloween as well. I think I liked I liked it because it was semi-remake instead of a word for word exact same remake which probably would have sucked. This was almost like a whole new movie but with hints of the original.

That's exactly right- it adds to the story instead of being a word-for-word copy. It gives you more instead of just being a re-hash. Perhaps if all remakes did that, they wouldn't have such a bad reputation. Although, as I'm sure was the point of starting this thread, some films just can't be improved upon.

Then again, I'm sure there are plenty of original Halloween fanatics that wouldn't give the new one a chance.

  12. Last month, a Nassau County Family Court judge ordered Michael and Dina to see a family therapist as part of an ongoing custody war over their two children, Ali, 13 and Dakota, 11. The couple was also ordered to stop speaking negatively of each other in front of their kids and undergo counseling at a hearing on Monday.

I think speaking negatively about each other to the press is the same thing as doing it in front of the kids. They are gonna hear it, and even worse- from their friends or from the television!!

  13. I might get booed for this, but... I really liked Rob Zombie's Halloween remake

    *runs and hides*

I really like the original, and I love it's authentic 70's feel. But the re-make adds to the story, it delves deeper into Michael's childhood. I don't want to give too much away so I'll leave it at that, but does anyone agree with me? Anyone?
