I don't care how well she's photoshopped, the thought of viewing her naked, drug-addled body is gross.

I think he probably does schlep around on the side, but I really have nothing but contempt for the girls he beds who then go after pay-off. Really though, these two need to step away from the Twitter, the photos of they take of themselves in the mirror and just live their lives.

We watch it! Far too much product placement (yeah, I know Loreal, Piper Lime, Garnier Fructis and whoever are all sponsors, but STILL!), but I like the 90-minute format. It's interesting to hear Heidi and the judges talk about the designs and designers and I like the interaction with the stylists (and I think that stylist with the handlebar mustache - part Village People, part Folsom St. leather bar - is dreamy). None of the designers really stand out though, at least for their designs. For their whining and tantrums, yes. For their clothes, not so much.

We have bamboo in our entryway and hallway and like the look. It can scratch and we had some discoloration when the hot water heater broke, but the planks were easily replaceable. Our dog and a cat don't have any issues with slip sliding paws on the surface either. We also have a condo - I think the buffering might have something to do with what's below the flooring and between the upper and lower units. Oh, and Windex works the best for keeping it clean.

Was there a BI about something like this? That someone famous or in power or whatever, fathered a child? My guess the beans were about to spill, so he put on his big boy pants and told Maria. At least the Little Terminator (or Terminatress) will never be on the welfare rolls and should be well cared for financially.

I heard some teaser tonight from "The View" and Barbara Walters said Sheen needed get his circumstances handled "for the sake of his children." It really irked me because with all these interviews, entertainment TV and gossip websites, his kids will always be able to see the destruction and downfall of their likely mentally ill father, so there is no "for the sake of his children" anymore. I can't even watch it - I saw one of his interviews last week and felt like I needed to hose off. What a weird world we are now, watching this descent into madness.

Lindsay's was once a very promising actress, but her underage drinking, drug use, hubris and non-stop partying brought her down. All with the help of her creepy mom and to a lesser degree, her dad. Dina's contributions to Lindsay's downfall are what keep me from totally slamming Lindsay because I actually feel some pity for the girl.

I think there's a reason that Halle Berry - who is very lovely on the outside - has never really been lucky in love... and I think that reason is HALLE BERRY! How many men just walk away from the babies, pay no support and don't really want anything to do with them? Lots! And Gabriel wants joint custody (!) - she should be happy and if she was a good woman, she'd embrace that for her daughter's sake, suck it up and be friendly with her baby's daddy and let him be a daddy. And one more rant. When she accepted her Oscar, her annoying speech made it sound like she was the first woman of color to be recognized by the Academy "...And it's for every nameless, faceless woman of color that now has a chance because this door tonight has been opened. Thank you. I'm so honored. I'm so honored. And I thank the Academy for choosing me to be the vessel for which His blessing might flow. ..." She totally ignored the fact that African American actress Hattie McDaniel (born to former slaves) won the Oscar for best supporting actress in Gone With the Wind. Sorry. Halle Berry just gets on my nerves. Rant over.

TMZ must have misunderstood something. It doesn't make sense that a 1-day delay would mess up the DA's case. If they want to try and prove a burglary, then yeah, they need to prove she went into the store with the intention to steal. But that's very difficult to prove - even if they caught her walking out the door with the necklace, all she has to say is the theft was an impetuous act and unless she had some sort of burglary tool (like something to remove security tags). They can charge her with misdemeanor petty theft. But the kicker is, if someone is convicted of a petty theft and if they get caught doing it again, the charge is petty theft with a prior, and THAT'S a felony. The girl has skated through 90% of lies to the court, probation violations, drug use, etc. She's heading on a path to the Anna Nicole Smith school of Out of Control.

"Celebrity Rehab" Hands down, it touches on all that is vulgar: fame mongering celebs who are willing to milk their addictions for a spot in the limelight; Dr. Drew Pinsky, who seems to cater to these fools (and I used to think Dr. Drew was really sharp and hunky, too. He's still hunky, but his mega dose of cheesiness on CR obliterates that) and the fact that most of these loser celebs never stop using or continue to use after the show is over.

Dawn Holland sounds like quite the manipulator. She and Lindsay were both recovering addicts when she plastered her own face on TMZ and any other news show that would listen to her crab about how Lindsay injured her. Boo hoo. And as recovering addicts, aren't they supposed to be honest and take responsibility for their actions? Last I heard, a subpoena is not an invitation, but a demand to appear. Hopefully the Lohans have paid Dawn Holland enough to drop the charges so that she can post bail for failure to appear on that summons.

Lindsay is such a fool she'd sign up thinking Drinking With The Stars would be the best gig ever! :4biggrin: I'm Team Nobody on this Lindsay v. Betty Ford Staffer thing. The staffer should have kept her pie hole shut. And Lindsay shouldn't be drinking. Losers all around. Lindsay was a darn good actress... for about a minute. Then she spiraled down (with a fair amount of assistance from the people who gave birth to her - I cringe to call them "parents") into the deep hole of Too-Much, Too Soon, Too Entitled.

I'll be your dance partner (you lead) on this one. Neither of them are that great as an actor to have the public believe they were actually a couple. No surprises about the split.

She looks much better than before. But it's a sad irony that with all the money and plastic surgery she has, her t-shirt has two holes in the underarm.

If you get a chance, try and watch the making of Boardwalk Empire. It's about 30-minutes and I'm sure HBO has it somewhere in it's lineup again or even online. The behind the scenes story of how Scorsese became involved, who Nucky is based on, the intricacies of the other characters and how the actors got into their character roles is really fascinating. I liked the part of how NJ wouldn't let the crew film on the Boardwalk, so Scorcese built a set in Brooklyn, based on old photos of the Atlantic City Boardwalk at the beginning of the 20th century.

I kind of do, and I kind of don't love that he gave her his mom's engagement ring. I do, because of the sentimentality - his mom loved him so much and he was just a child when she died. I don't because her marriage was sad - Prince Charles was in love with Camilla before, during and after the marriage to Diana, but he couldn't marry Camilla; the Queen was jealous of the attention and love the public gave Diana and of course, her tragic end. I'm not so sure I'd want that particular engagement ring to start a marriage into the monarchy.

Oh, I think she's a "natural ass" alright! :2cool: To her credit, she looks a whole lot better without all the makeup. What cracks me up though, is that she got her "celeb" status in a dullsville sex tape. Now she walks around with the mistaken attitude that she is a lady with some ounce of class. "Class" rhymes with "ass." Coincidence? I think not. :4biggrin: She's a total ass.

i am totally Team Mondo -- I am concerned about the previews though where they talk about "this was the closest..." To me, it isn't even close -- I would have taken Michael C over either Andy or Gretchen. Andy got in because he is very avant garde and Gretchen got in, well, I am not sure why she got in unless its because she makes good television. As for Michael C, I feel bad that he appeared to more concerned about telling his parents about his loss then he was about the actual loss. As for his lover "outing him to his parent" I think I pick a new lover. (Granted, there is no way to know the dynamics of that relationship, but I think it couldn't have done anything but make a bad situation worse.) Can't wait to see the bitch that is Ivy on the reunion show. His boyfriend was also pretty quick to point out to Tim (and a bezillion TV viewers) that Michael C.'s parents were not very supportive of him till he got on the show and how troubled his home life was. I thought Michael C. was sweet and he should dump the boyfriend, dump the parents, and start all over with someone who cares about him.

So sorry to hear about your book club member's ordeal. Sincere wishes for a strong recovery on all levels! Don't know if I'd call it challenging, but I've been enjoying "Girls Like Us" by Sheila Weller. It's about Carole King, Joni Mitchell and Carly Simon, but is not a cut & dried bio of the three women. Where it would have been very easy to make this a 3-part bio, the author divides each section into a 4 or 5 year time span, and the narrative describes the lives of these women during that time, from their girlhood insecurities, family lives, and how their music shaped their lives (and obviously the lives of others). It's a glimpse back to the days when women weren't always so accepted in the music industry, to the wild and free times of the LA scene in the 1960's, to.... I'm not sure yet, because I'm still reading it. The author describes it in her acknowledgments as "three women, three moments, one journey." I'm enjoying it very much and my boyfriend is anxious to read it when I'm done. In the back of the book, the author poses questions and topics for discussion, too.

Twitter is an excellent way for Ashton and Demi to address the cheating issues. It's a one-way volley of their words; no challenges, rebukes, claims or other issues come back at them. They have no explaining to do. The more they Tweet and post those dumb ass twee photos, the more it seems there is some truth to those accusations.

I was thinking the same thing. I thought she was injecting in her leg! Just had the idea for a perverted puzzle game: Kate Moss, Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan - find the hidden needle marks.

Oh yeah, good idea because family and friends have all been so helpful, supportive and healthy for her so far in her life.

Jail is not good for anybody but Michael Lohan, who uses it for his own purposes of getting attention.
