The more Gwyneth tells me about her personal life, the more I love her. For the same reasons Lainey does, I imagine. Sure, I think she's pretentious. Doesn't mean she doesn't know what she's talking about, and she entertains me, which (as an actress and whatever hell else she is these days) is what she is paid to do. So.....
I esp love that she doesn't do a prepubescent brazilian wax!!!
http://www.laineygossip.com/Is-Gwyneth-Pal...-70s-bush/26660
Wait, did I read that right? Are we really expected to think her friends all pinned her down at trimmed her bush at a dinner party?? Seriously??
I'm kind of concerned what they did with the trimmings.

Anyone else following along with what's going on via TMZ?? Someone is starting to crack....
Most recent post by TMZ:
TMZ
Lindsay Lohan is in BIG TROUBLE ... She's thumbing her nose at prosecutors and flying to California tonight ... presumably to enter a rehab facility that is not part of her plea deal.
Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ ... Lindsay is about to board a private jet in NYC.
TMZ broke the story ... Lindsay's lawyer and prosecutors agreed she would enter the Seafield Center rehab facility in Westhampton Beach, New York. She's required to show up by tomorrow morning.
But as we reported earlier, Lindsay was freaked out because Seafield won't allow her to smoke. We're told she may be headed for Morningside Recovery in Newport Beach, CA ... which does allow smoking.
Problem is .... prosecutors did NOT sign off on Morningside. What's more ... we've learned NO ONE from Lindsay's camp has contacted either the L.A. City Attorney or the Santa Monica City Attorney to get the change of plans approved.
In short ... by not entering Seafield ... Lindsay has violated her plea deal. Lindsay's lawyers are in court tomorrow along with prosecutors, where her attorneys are required to show proof of enrollment in Seafield. It's a good bet the judge is going to be pissed, and a better bet prosecutors will be pissed.
If the judge believes Lindsay has violated the deal, he can throw her in jail for 90 days.
Oh good gawd, just throw her drug addled, entitled ass in the clinker already! I still think the judge will wimp out and go easy on her. If such disregard of the court's authority happened in my central CA county, she'd be remanded in a nano-second without a goodbye to enabling mama Dina, without a confer with her attorney, without even getting her things from her car.
I actually held out hope for her because I thought she was a talented actress who wasn't too far gone, but I'm over that line of thought now.

Just read on TMZ that Lindsay Lohan is planning to go to Coachella right before entering rehab. That sounds like an awesome idea!
How many times can the LA criminal justice system bend over and take it from this loser!? The best "locked facility" she could have is jail - let her detox and then ship her to a rehab.

Had to post of a pic of us girls at the show, but I blurred out our faces. I'm the one in the black & white dress. If I've ever had a Sex & The City moment in my life, this was it
How much fun are you having!!! Nice to hear the designers seem down to earth and friendly. And regarding your blurred faces... after a few cocktails, my friends all look like that too! :4biggrin:

Jessica Chastain
Love the old Hollywood look.
At last! Someone who knows how to wear a neutral colored, strapless dress (that fits).

That Masterpiece Classic/Downton Abbey thing is confusing, but yes, it's in Comcast under "Masterpiece Classic."

I am so mad I can't watch this show! It's not On Demand, and I don't subscribe to netflix or hulu. And I'm not going to buy the seasons on DVD. I also tried to find it online but had no luck. I know I would love it, too.
So basically I just came into this thread to shake my virtual fist at all of you. Bah!
Can you squeeze TiVo into your budget? We have cable thru Comcast, so have access to OnDemand, but TiVo is hands down superior to OnDemand. You can even program it from your computer. PBS also has reruns at odd hours of the day and night and they have affiliate channels on cable, so if you watch PBS on channel 9 say, you can get the same programming on say, channel 189, at a different time. Oh! Another thought - maybe your public library has previous seasons on DVD you can check out.

Naomi Campbell
Brutally Mugged in Paris
TMZ
Naomi Campbell reportedly suffered a torn ligament in her leg when she was mugged on a street in Paris. The supermodel was hailing a cab when she was attacked and robbed by multiple assailants reports the NY Post. The attack -- which occurred more than a month ago -- left Campbell in a wheelchair and crutches. The Post says Campbell's boyfriend, Vladimir Doronin, has upped her security since the incident.
When called for comment about the incident, Campbell told the paper, "I am sorry, I do not talk to press, but I am fine."
Can't believe she didn't beat the attackers ass right there on the street
Oh, poor Naomi! (Not!) Can't believe she didn't hit them with a cell phone. I mean, if it's good enough for assaulting your hired help, it's certainly good enough for thugs!

Is it just me, or does Lenny Kravitz look like he'd rather be having a root canal than being photographed with, sitting next to or having Demi dance over him? And what's with Kiebler and Clooney - are they still together?

Ooh - American Lightning sounds good!
I just finished the new Philippa Gregory book, Kingmaker's Daughter - about Anne Neville (daughter of Warwick the Kingmaker and eventual wife to Richard) I like her books a lot but the War of the Roses era books are so full of characters; I'm easily confused. I knew Tudor era names pretty well so those books weren't as confusing to me. But I'm learning (I know it's fiction but her historical research is good - and it's pretty easy to tell where she's making fictitious leaps....)
Next up is the newest Lindsay Davis, Master of God (ancient Rome....)
I saw you mentioned that you read an excerpt of "Pacific Coast Trail" in Vogue - I read an excerpt of "American Lightning" in Vanity Fair and that's what got me interested in the book. Excerpts magazines are a good way to promote something that might otherwise be overlooked. Now I'm interested in the author's other books.

"American Lightning - Terror, Mystery, the Birth of Hollywood and Crime of the Century" about the 1910 bombing of the LA Times building by organized labor. It's non-fiction and has a strong element of emerging Hollywood and the influence of films, specifically DW Griffiths. It's actually an entertaining and easy read, despite the heavy-sounding description.

English Toffee? You can make it on one sheet/cookie pan, flat; or you can break it into pieces. I think it would ship well because it's hard and since you break it off to eat anyway, if it cracks in shipping, it's still good. I'm sure no matter what you bake and ship, it will be appreciated. Godspeed your father to a safe return home.

Morgan Fairchild Has Definitely Overdone The Filler Says Plastic Surgeon
By Debbie Emery - Radar Reporter
Iconic actress Morgan Fairchild was the object of a generation of men's affection during the 70s and 80s, and it appears that she is determined to keep her youthful glow alive for as long as possible.
Now 62, the former blonde bombshell looks all plumped up after getting too many fat injections into her cheeks and lips, opines celebrity plastic surgeon Dr. Anthony Youn.
"A little filling is a good thing, a lot of filling makes a person look like a Cabbage Patch doll," the surgeon, who has not treated the star, told RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview.
While the Flamingo Road star certainly looks puffy and swollen, she can still prevent her complete transformation into a living doll if she lets go of her cosmetic surgery compulsion.
"I hope she stops before she gets there," revealed Dr. Youn, adding: "I also suspect that she may have undergone a facelift, which appears very well-done and natural-looking."
For more scoop on celebrity plastic surgery, visit Dr. Youn's blog at CelebCosmeticSurgery.com, and pick up his eye-opening memoir, In Stitches, which is available on Amazon.com.
Aaack! I thought it was Kathy Hilton at first!

Lindsay Lohan
EMERGENCY INTERVENTION
Cops Called
TMZ
Cops just showed up at Lindsay Lohan's Beverly Hills home after Michael Lohan and others tried to stage an intervention to get Lindsay Lohan into treatment at the Betty Ford Center ... TMZ has learned.
Michael Lohan and several others showed up at Lindsay's house Friday afternoon ... believing she has fallen off the wagon ... and they believe that's why she has become a no show for post-production work on her upcoming movie, "The Canyons."
Michael tells TMZ ... Lindsay's entire team is on board with the intervention, though we cannot confirm that.
We're told Lindsay was at the house when Michael and team arrived, but someone claiming to be her boyfriend shooed them away. The "boyfriend" told TMZ Lindsay was inside and any problems Lindsay has will not be solved by her father.
Someone called the cops to report a trespassing call. Cops are currently on scene.
Fallen off the wagon?! She never even get on the loading dock for the wagon!

That's all very interesting. And the fact that the author brought enough evidence forward in a previous murder to incarcerate guilty people who were not originally suspects, gives him a lot more credibility. But if the DNA didn't match OJ's, wouldn't there be a partial match of paternal DNA? If it was Jason's DNA, wouldn't there be some match to OJ's?

And if baby is ever the subject of gossip, may her (his?) baby-soft skin become super-human thick (but still baby soft ) Congratulations on your Little Chitchatter!Woot! May your baby live long and surrounded by gossip!

I don't know how many of you are familar with Kevin and Bean of KROQ out here in LA, but they unleashed a pretty interesting story:
Apparently Kanye wentthrough Kim's closet and got rid of hundreds of thousands dollars worth of clothes. Kim has them up for sale on eBay with a notice that 10% of the proceeds are being donated to a charity.
The charity is the church started by her mom.
That's very interesting! Here's some follow-up links on this:
Kim's eBay shop, "Kim's Closet" - On Kim's clothing, she states that sizing varies from designer to designer, so she suggests using a Google search to determine fit (because she can't be bothered to measure the garment herself?). Of course, she does allude the the garment being a size "S" and I'm sorry, but in what world is her curvaceous figure a "S" in way, shape or form?
Piers Morgan interview - yes, my mom co-founded this church.
The organization is registered with the IRS but doesn't have to file a return because it's a church. The Kardashians are so friggin' annoying - anything they touch is slimey.

I'm still trying to grasp that someone bought the trailer, along with antiques and memorabilia for only $50K and then lent it out to be used by a notorious drug user and general ne'er-do-well. No insurance to cover it? No binding contract to cover any loses?

Why would Hollywood's highest paid actress need to make out in a car with her director? Couldn't they afford a room somewhere? It's not like her looks are easily discernible to the general public or hotel staff. Also, how does someone follow you in a moving car and continue to follow you outside of the car and take photos? The timing of this 'scandal,' before the release of the movie (with the cheatin' star, the scorned wife and the philandering director all involved with the flick) is very convenient.

Actually, this is alot of bullshit.
The Coroner's office knows exactly how she died -- she drowned. Death is not undetermined.
The razor's edge they are pinning "undetermined" on is the assertion that that they do not know how she got in the water -- she could have fallen over the side of the boat drunk, she could have jumped, she could have been pushed. Whatever.
As an interesting question if Wagner is not a "person of interest" does that mean that Walken is -- I mean by process of elimination he would have to be, wouldn't he?
Again, this a whole lot of bullshit and a monumental waste of LAPD's resources. If they did not have enough to file and prosecute charges back then, they sure as hell won't now--
of course, this is all MOHO
It's the "manner of death" that is (now) undetermined. Changing the box on the dc from "accidental" to "undetermined" or even "pending" this late in the game is certainly not the norm. I suppose the case could have been reopened by a new detective to the unit, hence the change of the manner of death, but it's still kind of odd.

Unless the "screaming fights over other women" were women Vanessa was seeing, I don't see how the headline, "Johnny's Broken Heart," is all that accurate. Maybe he and Amber had a fling, but if I were to guess they were a couple by looking at that photo of them, I'd say not - zero chemistry IMHO.

I'm glad she's getting out of a relationship that by all appearances seem to have brainwashed her and drained any life from her face. Still, I wonder why her family allowed it to go on so long? Was the money that lucrative for her? I think Suri kept her rather sane.
Lindsay Lohan still broke and a mess

Apparently Morningside was "careless with prescription drugs." No wonder Lindsay wanted to go there. Here's the February 2012 Orange County Register article about the suspension, updated March 19, 2012.
