Quote "I see how protective she is over her family and her husband. She very much carries the idea that people better not [mess] with my family. She gets fired up. When she gets to that mode, it makes me step back. I was like, 'Okay!' And Tom looks at me and goes, 'See? See? Did you see that?' And I go, "Yeah, I saw that - hell yeah.' It amazes me. " end quote

Everytime I read that part, I see Kat(i)e in a cage in the kitchen, and they are making her perform like an animal. That quote does not even remotely sound normal.

I think it would go more like this:

She gets fired up. When she gets to that mode, it makes me step back. I was like, 'Okay! [Does she know who she's messing with here? He is gonna mess you up, Kate.]' And Tom looks at me and goes, 'See? See? Did you see that? [i am so gonna mess her up later. Bitch needs to learn her place.]' And I go, "Yeah, I saw that - hell yeah. [she'll never know what hit her.]' It amazes me. "

:D Yeah, that's probably more like it. Except now I have the Color Purple scene/voices where Jada is telling Tom to hit Kat(i)e to help keep her in her place.

  3. Tommy Hilfiger Appears On "Oprah" To Clear Up That Urban Legend Finally...

We've all heard that rumor. Tommy told Oprah on her show one time in the 90's that his clothes were meant for the crackers and that he was disgusted that they might have caught on in the black community. Anyone who believed that shit is about as dumb as those who, when they get that e-mail from the guy in Darfur saying they have a million dollars they need you to help them with and ask for your checking account #'s, provides them happily. Anyone who knows anything knows that everyone is Darfur has been brutally murdered. DUH! Anyway, Tommy recently cleared it up for the pinheads out there.

Tommy Hilfiger has never been kicked off Oprah's show ... because he's never even been on Oprah. But today, the preppy designer appeared for the first time with O to refute an ugly urban legend that's been circulating for over a decade.

An e-mail first popped up about ten years ago -- and has recently resurfaced -- which alleges that Hilfiger was booted off the set of "Oprah" when he supposedly admitted that he intended his designs for "upper-class white people," not for Blacks, Jews, Asians or Latinos. Turns out that Hilfiger never said anything of the sort -- anywhere -- and that he wasn't even a guest on the show.

Hilfiger was so floored by the rumors, he tells O, that he paid FBI investigators "a lot of money" to track down the source, though the closest they got was an unnamed college campus. And, in the end, he says, the rumor's ridiculous because, frankly, what he really wants is money "from anyone that will buy my clothes."

At least he's being truthful with that last part. Next on Dr. Phil. a gerbil appears to state than no one from his community has ever been in Richard Gere's asshole.

Wow this is how old I am, when I first heard this tale, it was Liz Clairbourne and Phil Donohue. It was she didn't make the clothes for the ethnic body type and was distressed at how the clothes looked on blacks.

  4. Joy is the best, I catch the view maybe once a month, but mainly thru youtube when there some hub-bub; she looks like she's counting down to when they just lose it and start physically attacking each other.

I think it was today's show, but they made EH and Rosie sit next to each other. Is that to punish both or trick the viewer into thinking all is right on the show? Probably both. :)

  5. Tuesday's show featured a segment about the Iraqi prisoner-abuse scandal during which O'Donnell snapped at an impassioned Hasselbeck, "You have to stop. You can ask a question, but you can't just blather on your opinion

That is right, because the only opinion that matters and is correct is Rosie's. <_<

Just for argument sake and to preface my statement -I'm no fan of either, but EH went on and on (5mins or so) and Rory Kennedy couldn't get full answers in. As a viewer I just wanted the interview to go on and the pissing match to stop.

I think in this case, Rosie was doing her job as moderator and trying to get the interview going.

  6. I've always found her attitude to be complex towards her fame. She almost acts as if she isn't interested in the whole realm, and considering that she wasn't an actress when she was discovered, this makes sense. She is a decent actress, although it may just be because the character's attitude was so close to her own. I feel like this could also be a kind of defense mechanism toward the business because I am sure she has had some people question her abilities. I don't think she has much "training".

I think she shows emotion better than many and she has a lot of raw ability.

Thank you, intent can be lost especially when you don't have their voice in your head to hear the quote as they say.

  7. Does she have a pr person? She does not do good interviews. I don't watch Lost, so I'm not sure how big a deal it would be for her to leave, but this is the fourth interview of her's I stumbled across, in all four she sounds ungrateful. First two were about how beautiful she is and how Christian she is and men looking at her make her uncomfortable. Last two repeats of the fan being so intrusive to her life.

    Is she a fan favorite?
