I can see how he could be under a lot of stress. The movie is HUGE and it's not all about him, and he is Batman! He was good, but he was more like part of an ensemble. But so what? It's still huge, he's on the European tour and his family does this? With friends like that.... I'm sorry, but if he had beat one of them up, or hurt one in any way, there would be witnesses. Saw her on Dancing With The Stars on Tuesday and the first thing my husband said is, "Is she pregnant?" I didn't see it, but he's a doctor so.... ??? She wasn't bad - singing on the show - certainly better than I expected her to be! I wonder what Papa Joe had to do to get her on that show. It's quite popular with BIG STARS now (to appear when promoting an album).

No way no way no way! You take ONE set of pics on the beach in sweats, then you retire to the offices of your surgeons (and the suites you go to afterwards to recover in private). You take "diet aids" to make sure you don't eat. You have your face and neck lipo'd. You get hair extensions. And you corset your waist in an otherwise full dress. Smile baby. I cannot see her hosting SNL. She has no personality. I don't think she can even put more than two sentences together without pausing. I saw a little of her on Larry King and wondered what she was on. You can't hide that kind of dysfunction when you're working with SNL for a week before the show! I'm so tired of her. She's pretty in the "after" picture, but to make it sound like she worked hard? No way. If she were capable of that, she never would have ballooned in the first place. IMO.

No, I'm the same way. It irks me no end to see the obvious spelling and grammar skills that make it into print. And don't get me started on news anchors who cannot speak properly. I saw a clip somewhere on television last week about a guy who is crossing the country and politely changing grammar and spelling mistakes on people's signs (he asks first). He carries white-out and a lot of markers. One of my least favorite signs is one that sometimes is outside of Macy's. It says, "Macy's let's you (something about saving money and earning points).....". Pisses me off that stuff like that gets through such a huge retail chain's marketing and printing departments.

He's a stunner all right. I still haven't seen that thing he did with Hilary Swank. I would, despite her presence, but from what I understand of the plot - there's too much her and not enough him. I can't face it. We saw it in the theatre and my (very hard to entertain) hubby even liked it. So you may want to reconsider. Not a GREAT movie, but not a bad one either. Neither of us cares for Swank and since it doesn't require much actual acting from Swank, she was okay in it. But Gerard is always a pleasure.

I read that about SNL and the cynic in me cried foul. I saw Janet on Larry King (for as long as I could stand it anyway). Something was wrong. It was like she was in a fog, or couldn't speak, or was completely dense. Made me wonder about her is all...
