  1. "You know what? At some point, one of these men has to put it back in his pants and zip up the zipper," she said during a discussion of bin Laden's latest audio tape

Now she's trying to make us believe she knows what's behind a man's zipper? :D

  2. Thanks for the photo..And shit...I ain't laughing...but drooling quite a bit!  :P

Down boy ;) Seriously, are they real? Were there no mirrors anywhere while she was getting dressed? I don't get how she could go out looking so silly, unless she wanted to be photographed? Is she going for an eccentric rep?

  3. Could these be two Separate groups?? any thoughts.

I'm a little confused too, but at the end, it looked like one from the front of the plane and one from the back, HID as the others went by with the teddy bear. So maybe three groups? I need to watch this without distractions!!

  4. On her Broadway ambitions, the source adds, "She wants to take some chances. Julia doesn't to be known simply as a movie star - she wants to be known as the consummate actress. She wants her kids to be able to look back on her career as something more than just the star of Pretty Woman."

Okay, I'm the ultimate cynic, I admit it. But this also sounds (to me) like the beginning of a very slick PR scheme to make sure that her Broadway reviews are gentle on her, you know, so she can make her graceful exit from showbiz. If they start now, it will be widely known by the time she performs in the play, and she'll be seen differently IMO. They'll go easier on her than if they thought she was going to make lots more movies. Then, when the kids go to school, she can change her mind. She's a girl afterall. ;)

  5. Happy to find this thread :)When I first heard about it, I was happy that she was treated EQUALLY and refused admittance after they were closed and while they were preparing for a private function. Who does she think she is anyway? She can't plan her day? Call ahead? She can't respect anyone else and their business? But when she upped it to racism, I realized she'd finally lost it. She doesn't want to be treated equally, color or no. She expects to be elevated and if she's not? It's because of her color and not because the store was closed, they were otherwise occupied with someone obviously important enough to the store that a private function was planned. I'm sad that Hermes apologized. Then again, because they DID apologize, she should just drop it. But no, she upped the ante. I predict this is the beginning of the last straw for her. Maybe she'll turn to Scientology?

  6. Maybe it's like when you take a picture of a haircut into your hairdresser to show what kind of hair you want? I don't think she wanted to look like Kate Winslet. She wanted to look like the digitally-altered KW. It's like saying "I want this cut but a little longer in back, a little fuller here..." But I do worry about the young kids who have no idea who they are on the inside and don't even try to find out until the outside looks like someone they want to be on the outside. Garbled post LOL.

  7. <blockquote data-ipsQuote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="MMM1" data-cite="MMM1"><div><p>So the show is getting bad reviews?? MC was the show really that bad??</p></div></blockquote>No, it was great. The script probably wasn't the greatest - Peter Allen wrote wonderful songs, but I never really cared for his brand of showmanship. Also, aside from being discovered by Judy Garland and being married to Liza Minelli, his personal life was portrayed as ordinary. (IMO) However, Hugh Jackman rocked! I knew about the reviews before I went (basically they're saying that the script sucked but Jackman was worth the price of admission). Hugh mastered every nuance of Peter Allen's onstage persona. In fact, I'd venture to say that I <em>preferred</em> Jackman's version to the real deal.

  8. Cy, I saw him on Broadway about two weeks ago. He gave an unbelievable performance. I was truly stunned at his talent. &nbsp;I also had the pleasure of being there while they were raising money for AIDS. What this meant was that the cast remained onstage after curtain and auctioned off various items. Hugh's t-shirt (complete with sweaty DNA) went for $6,000. I think the towel went for $2k. Then, for $500, the first ten in line down front could get their picture taken with him AND an autograph. My son and I were almost trampled in a stampede as we headed for the exit.

  10. Well, she's a <font size="3">BIG</font> girl They need to cover her up. I'm also amazed at her face. Of course, it's lit really, really well, but I suspect they used those tape things that give you an instant facelift. Yeah, okay okay - meow.

  11. <blockquote data-ipsQuote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Zion" data-cite="Zion"><div><p>Martha was here at my place of employment the other day. I'll have to ask around and see if she was nice or not.</p></div></blockquote>Was she looking for a job?
