  1. Everyone's got their "One time, when I was drunk..." stories. Thing is, Sienna's still young enough to think it's cute.

It didn't seem like "one time". It was every time. She said three or four stories that night and all of them included drinking and partying. Granted, it's the only interview I've seen with her. But my opinion went from "oh, poor stupid young girl is staying with the cheat" to "oh, immature stupid drunk dysfunctional stayed with her perfect match".Of course I could just be being a bitchy pesimist today. Hey! Why is my drink half empty! :D

  2. I saw a bit of Sienna on Letterman a few nights ago. I think I see what keeps her and Jude together. I'd never seen an interview with her before. Only seen cute pics of her and quotes from her about "going through a difficult time". In the interview every story was about a drunken night with her and Jude. She mentioned one story when they all got wasted at Jude's folk's house, ended up breaking a chair and then everyone went outside and set the chair on fire as they stood nearby with whiskey (or some other hard alcohol). Then Jude's parents made them leave the next morning. Sounds like they are both a couple of drunks and deserve each other. JMO. :D

  3. Yeah I watched it too. It was kind of depressing how mean she is when her character is such a sweetie. Oh well, that's the joy of being an observer of the celebrities... I can think what I want about them and it will never matter. I'm choosing to believe she was having a hard day and she's actually just like Merideth. :DI noticed the flowy moo-moo too. I'm thinking in a few months she'll be in rehab for an eating disorder. She makes Ally McBeal look fat.

  4. Princess, I think you have a serious problem. :D Although I am enjoying the pics...I just watched the Buffy episode "Go Fish" in which Wentworth was a guest role. He was in about half of it. Very cute even back then (actually, he hasn't aged much at all) but he did brush up on his acting since then. :D

  5. I just got "Good in Bed" a chick-lit book. Haven't started it yet.I really liked the Sue Grafton books. But I like to read fluff most of the time. So I just skip over the Kinsey backstory. I figure it's just so people can read any book not in order for fun, or get into the whole series. I love her landlord Henry. He's adorable. And her sarcastic/dry humor is right up my ally. :D

  6. Ooo MMM1 I really liked both of the books you just started! My Sister's Keeper was kind of depressing, but not as much as you'd think given the topic.I read ShopGirl a long time ago. I remember liking the book. But I hate Claire Danes - won't see anything with her in it.And hazelnut, give it a few years then give the Girl With the Pearl Earrings movie a chance. I loved the book "The Firm" and right after I finished it, I saw it was playing on tv. I sat down to watch it and got about 10 minutes into it when I just had to get up and leave I hated the movie so much. But I saw the movie again years later, and was able to appreciate it more when the book wasn't as fresh in my mind.Anyhow, an author I really like is Sue Grafton. She writes a series of books with the character of Kinsey. Kinsey is a PI and one of my best friends. :D The books are in ABC order with titles like, "A is for Alibi" and "B is for Burglar", etc. The S book comes out in December and I'm so excited I can't sit still! It takes at least a year and usually much more for her to write a new book.

  7. Sienna Miller insists she has received invaluable support since the shock of finding out about her partner Jude Law's infidelity - particularly from Law himself. ...been a really rough Couple of months. But at the end of the day I've got a huge support system ... and Jude have been really supportive of me.

Oh my god she's stupid!! :o You guys need to change those giselle/leo pictures where he's explaining hair and put those quotes on sienna/jude pics. She's got to be stupider then Giselle!

  8. Sometimes I wish I had these star's disipline. I know, I know, eating disorders are a disease... but sometimes I wish I'd get just a little sick. Just enough so that raisins and celery and carrots looked better to me then fishy crackers and take 5 bars and cheese. :D

  9. “In both the United States and Great Britain, where the estranged couple reside, an engagement ring is a conditional gift — no wedding, no ring,”

I didn't know that. I thought the ring was a gift and hers to keep (although good manners would have her give it back).Huh, learn something new everyday.

  10. From E online:Nick Carter Suing Madby Sarah Hall Jul 21, 2005, 4:00 PM PTNick Carter wants a former roommate of his sister's to quit playin' games with his legal status. The Backstreet Boy, 25, has threatened to file suit against one Kathryn Kelly, after he was named in a lawsuit Kelly filed against Carter's sister, Bobby Jean, alleging that the younger Carter had battered former roomie Kelly on several occasions in April. In addition to B.J., Kelly fingered both Nick Carter and his father, Robert, in her court documents, claiming that they had not properly supervised 23-year-old B.J., who was purportedly employed by her father as her brother's assistant at the time of the alleged attacks. According to Kelly's lawsuit, filed earlier this month in Los Angeles Superior Court, her grapples with B.J. Carter caused her "serious physical injury." On Apr. 14, B.J. "stabbed Kelly with a knife in her thumb, leg and arms," according to the court filing. One week later, she "punched, choked, pinned and forcefully struck Kelly multiple times." Kelly's lawsuit claims B.J. Carter has a lengthy history with alcoholism, substance abuse and domestic violence and cites her three prior convictions for assault and battery and felony assault with a deadly weapon. She is seeking unspecified compensatory, punitive and exemplary damages. Apparently, Kelly also feel that B.J.'s popster big brother should share some of the blame for not sticking around and keeping an eye on his little sis. Unfortunately for her, Carter doesn't see it that way. Carter's attorney, Martin Singer, called Kelly's claims "frivolous and fictional" and accused her of trying to capitalize on Carter's fame. "The claims filed against Nick Carter by the accuser are absolutely without merit," Singer said in a statement. "It is obvious that the only reason Nick Carter was named in this lawsuit was so that she could get publicity, since her lawsuit does not contain any claim that Nick Carter personally engaged in any wrongful conduct harming the accuser. We are confident that the court will promptly dispose of these frivolous and fictional claims against Nick Carter." Carter's rep, Juliette Harris, chimed in, denying that the Backstreeter had any connection to Kelly and pointing out that Carter does not engage in business dealings with his family. "Nick Carter has nothing to do with the accuser and has been named in her suit because of his fame," Harris said. "After the case is completed he plans on filing for sanctions against her and her counsel to stop her and others like her from attempting to capitalize on his name. Additionally, there are no business relationships between Nick and any of the Carters therefore no associations should be made." Kelly's attorney, Bryan Altman, told Los Angeles' City News Service: "We don't have a practice of commenting on opposing counsel's PR spins on behalf of their client." He also said that more details about the alleged attacks would come out. "We feel comfortable and confident enough in what our client has told us that she is the victim here," Kelly said, "and we stand behind her 100 percent." Carter has likely had his fill of the legal system for the time being. Last month, he pleaded guilty to a charge of drunken driving and was fined $1,200, ordered to serve three months in an alcohol program and placed on three years' informal probation. Carter and the rest of the Backstreet Boys kick off their nationwide summer tour Friday in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Julia Roberts Draws Attention with Expired Tags

Oscar-winning actress Julia Roberts shocked residents of Santa Monica, California when she was spotted driving through the coastal town with out of date license plates. The Erin Brockovich star, who owns a home in nearby Venice, ran various errands around Santa Monica yesterday, without her husband Danny Moder or their baby twins Hazel and Phinnaeus by her side. And while she could boast that she was doing her part for the environment by carrying out her chores in an eco-friendly silver Toyota Prius, onlookers couldn't help but notice that her plates clearly displayed an April 2005 expiry date. A local resident scoffs, "It's ridiculous! While I understand it's quite normal to be a few days late, three months is just crazy. If an everyday person with a 9-5 can remember to get it done within a timely fashion, a movie star with a staff to help remind her certainly should be able to." According to California law, a driver whose registration is expired by more than a month but less than a year is liable to pay an extra 60 per cent on top of the standard registration fee.

I find this funny. Were the residents really "shocked"? I never look at people's license plates. And there's been twice when my plates have shown expired. One was when I forgot to put the little sticker on, and another when someone stole my sticker (pulled it right off my license plate, bastards). Julia Roberts bugs me a bit - but I still find this article funny.

  12. "This is what happens when you take the Law into your own hands"-Leno, talking about the Jude Law / Nanny affair. He also said that Jude and Sienna broke up. But he said the other day that Pam and Tommy were getting married again and Tommy in a statement said no they weren't. So I guess Leno jumps the gun on gossip for the sake of a joke once in awhile.

  13. How long did he cheat with the nanny? How long ago did it end? Why is the nanny choosing now to discuss it?If he is crass enough to cheat - you'd think he'd be crass enough to have her sign papers not to talk about him. Nannies usually sign papers saying they won't discuss the stars they're working for... he should have dotted the i's and crossed the t's on that legal document.

Despite what she describes as a delayed case of postpartum depression after the June 13, 2004, birth of her and husband David Arquette's daughter Coco, Courteney Cox says she'd like to have another child.

"I went through a really hard time – not right after the baby, but when (Coco) turned 6 months," Cox, 41, tells USA Today. "I couldn't sleep. My heart was racing. And I got really depressed. I went to the doctor and found out my hormones had been pummeled."

Taking the steroid hormone progesterone helped Cox get through her difficulties, as did support from such close friends as Jennifer Aniston, who lives nearby in Malibu, and Brooke Shields, who famously suffered and conquered her own bouts with postpartum depression.

Having now shed her vulnerable feelings of what she terms "smallness" – and dealt with such strange suicidal urges as driving off a cliff, she says – Cox reveals that she and Arquette are hoping for a sibling for their daughter, whose expanding vocabulary now includes the words "lion," "flower" and "bellybutton."

As Cox tells the newspaper: "I look at Coco and say, 'I'm blessed. Why mess with this? Should I take any chances?' But we've got to try for a boy. We've got to have a little (boy) Arquette in the family."

  15. And another thing: not everyone is looking for a committed relationship. Even non-movie stars don't mind a fling, short-term affair.

I think a man started this rumor. :D
I guess I can't hide the fact that I do think as a man.
It's okay. We forgive you for it. :DSo anyone found any online polls if she should/will take him back or not? What's winning?

  16. i think this whole drama might help her career. you know, the whole "I'M A SURVIVOR!!!" scenario. she'll next choose an underground or independent type of film and will get praised for it. maybe even win an award. and she'll be boosted into a whole different kind of status.

Awesome! Can you plan my life out like that too? I'd like to skip the cheating fiance, but I'll take the fame and fortune. :D
