Isn't she on the outs with pretty much all of her in-laws and most of her own family? Dealing with an alcoholic relative is very difficult but I'm not sure alcoholism is the major problem here.

Fun Fact:Years ago my Dad was preparing for his high school reunion and he showed me a picture out of his 1958 Owensboro (KY) High School yearbook and it said: Best Looking, John Depp.Of course it was Johnny's father, and if you picture Johnny with a crew cut at 18, then you know what his dad looked like.Pretty cool.

For the casual fan, the best comparison of Vertigo is more like Elevation than Beautiful Day. It's a dirty, fun rock song that harkens back to the sound of their first album, Boy. The response I've been reading on music site message boards is that people love the song and the energy of the band. Hope that helps.
