  1. Ya know, I'm really friggin' tired of her. She's always quick to play the victim and she comes across as extremely insecure and needy, as well as a major drama queen (above and beyond what's typical for Hollywood.) I have a feeling that if the world could see her behind closed doors she wouldn't be viewed so sympathetically. The fact is, b/c they weren't married he didn't officially have legal rights to his daughter. It doesn't matter whether they had their own un-official agreement to share custody, the fact remains, unless the law acknowledges him as the father, he doesn't have rights. I don't blame him a bit for wanting to be legally acknowledged, I wouldn't trust her to not have a hissy-fit and deny him the ability to see his own daughter. He's seeking shared custody, not sole. I'd' want to make sure I have the law behind me too.

Unfortunately, I think this pisses Halle off because she saw him as a sperm donor and doesn't want to share. These stories coming out now about her daughter being "traumatized" when she visits her father are a farce. She may throw a fit, but she's 2 (3?) and that's typical of toddlers when they leave Mommy, they're in that attachment phase. It doesn't make him a bad father, and I'm sure she calms down as soon as she's with him. Not to mention, kids are smart, and they pick up on tension, and if Mommy is agitated around Daddy, or when talking about Daddy, she probably is too.

    I'm team Aubry on this.

  2. WORLD EXCLUSIVE AUDIO: Mel Gibson's Explosive Racist Rant -- Listen To It Here from Radar Online.

Something about that tape sounds off- it's like, one second he's screaming and then another second his voice is very even sounding, and even when he's yelling his voice sounds almost even. While I don't doubt Mel is this big of an a-hole, it just seems off. I wonder if it's been heavily edited or something to put together the most provocative parts.

  3. I also think Stern had a valid point, however crassly he phrased it. I find it interesting that nearly everyone commenting on Oscar fashion talked about how great she looked, as if saying anything else would unleash a firestorm of disapproval. The young lady has a positive attitude and carries herself with pride, and that's great, but she is at a very unhealthy weight, and that is true regardless of whether she is an actress, an accountant or a pediatrician. I think that maintaining a healthy weight and conforming to distorted Hollywood concepts of an attractive body weight are two entirely different concepts. I do think that there is some room in the entertainment industry for women with curves, sass and personality -- albeit not enough. Speaking of which, I thought Queen Latifah looked absolutely gorgeous.

I think Ms. Sidibe ought to lose some weight for the sake of her health, first and foremost. Should I don my flame-proof suit for writing that?

I agree; and quite frankly, I've found the coverage over her rather patronizing, and if I was her I'd be insulted. I watched many of the fashion reviews and anytime she came up, they over-praised her the way you would a 3-year old's bad drawing in order to build their "self-esteem," when in all reality you know it's bad. I would love to see Hollywood put more real people in movies, but in this case I feel it's being done in such a way as to be insulting to Gabourey. The push behind her seems to be more about making her the token fat girl, as if Hollywood is saying "Look at us, we support big girls too," while in the meantime any role she'll be offered will be limited to a "fat girl" role and will never be mainstream.

I hate how the media and Hollywood push this in an effort to be PC, all the while not really changing their thinking regarding the "ideal" body type. It's all an effort to appear PC, not truly promote a normal body size.

  4. I think Juliet will come into play in the alternate time line. Before she died, she said something about going for coffee and then her last thought to Sawyer was that "it worked." I think she saw the alternative time before she died where she meets up with Sawyer again (over coffee?) If you notice in the alternative time line when they don't crash, things are still different, as though the changes in personality they acquired on the island were there, without them realizing it. It's been speculated that the survivors are able to alter their destinies; they just haven't done it yet and needed to go back to present day to do so. Either way, I LOVE this show and how it keeps you guessing.

  5. Kevin Costner Scared Of Swine Flu

Kevin Costner is terrified his children will catch swine flu.

The 54-year-old actor - who is currently touring Germany with his country band Kevin Costner and Modern West - has banned his family from travelling with him to keep them safe from the potentially fatal virus.

Kevin - who has six children, Annie, 25, Lily, 23, Joe, 21, Liam, 13, Cayden, two, eight-month-old Hayes, with three different women - said: "It is unusual that my family is not there, because they usually are always there.

"But I have been worried about swine flu, and didn't want my small children with me this time on this trip."

The 'Dances with Wolves' star also revealed how his wife, German model Christine Baumgartner, encouraged him to fulfill his dream of playing his music in Germany.

He is quoted by website tz-online.de as saying: "I wanted to bring my music to the people. And since my ancestors emigrated to America in the 17th century, I wanted to close the circle and return to Germany.

    "Christine has given me confidence."

Hmmm...yeah, I'm sure that's why he doesn't want his wife and kids with him- he's concerned for their safety. Somehow I'm skeptical.

  6. I don't know what went down in the Tom/ Bridget relationship and I don't particularly care for Bridget, but if I were her, those comments would really piss me off. The way Giselle says she wants him to have a "great relationship with his mom" as if that is something she allows rather than a given; almost as if she WERE the mom instead of step-mom. The 100% mine comment would really rub me the wrong way as well. I'm sure she meant nothing by it, but still, it sounds a bit overly possessive. It's great to have a close relationship, but Bridget IS ultimately the mom.

  7. from Radar magazine...

Our girl Megan sure gets around.

Spies say foxy Megan Fox enjoyed a secret rendezvous with Twilight hunk Robert Pattinson last week at the Palihouse Hotel in West Hollywood, according to bauer-griffin.com.

Sources say they were seen together late at night at the hotel's bar/bistro on March 3rd. The next day, Megan was back in the bar -- again with Pattinson!

Megan recently moved out of Brian Austin Green's house after a long relationship, but the two are still hangin' together, so who knows what's really going on!

    and from Ted

    Dear Ted:

Is it true that Megan Fox is after Rob Pattinson after all? I was reading Lainey's article and it said Meg was in his group partying recently. She also said Rob was having Secret Service-level security while in Vancouver to keep the nuts away. Do you know anymore?

    —Joanna

    Dear Fox-Trot:

I think Meg would scare the living hell out of Rob. But yes, more to come on Fox-Green later today as I'm told she isn't hunting down any men right now, including R. As for Rob, he's getting back to the grind for New Moon. I'll keep you updated if anything juicy happens up north.

I have to agree with Ted on this, I just don't see it. But it does remind me of the blind item people thought was her about a fake breakup and new relationship for publicity. I can't help but wonder if her publicists aren't planting these stories to garner attention. It wouldn't suprise me to find out she's showing up at the same places without him knowing it as well. As soon as any girl is linked to RP there is bound to be a lot of press. I feel sorry for him as I think those desperate enough for attention (*cough Paris *cough) are going to be lining up to be mentioned in the same sentence as he is.

  8. What is the general consensus on the Pattinson Facebookgate? I know it's a few months ago, but are people generally thinking that they're real?

guessed I missed that scandal; what was it about? Regardless, whenever you ask if something real in Hollywood, the safe answer is almost always no... ;)

  9. Body of child found - may be Julian King

    October 27, 2008

    FROM STNG WIRE REPORTS

The body of a male child was found Monday morning in a white suburban on the West Side, and authorities were investigating whether it was Julian King, the 7-year-old nephew of Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Hudson.

Officials from the Medical Examiner's Office have been called to the scene at 1313 S. Kolin Ave. after receiving a report of a black male child being found in an SUV.

The body of a boy was found in the 1300 block of South Kolin Ave. Authorities say the body could be that of 7-year-old Julian King.

    (NBC5)

Julian went missing from the crime scene Friday where the bodies of the mother and brother of Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Hudson were found in their home in the 7000 block of South Yale Avenue.

A white Chevrolet Suburban SUV was also found on the scene, according to media reports, police declined to comment on those reports as of 8:20 a.m.

About 3 p.m. Friday, the bodies of 57-year-old Darnell Donerson, Jennifer Hudson’s mother and 29-year-old Jason Hudson, her brother, were found at the 7000 block of South Yale, inside their home, police said. The shooting is believed to be domestic-related. Neighbors said they heard gunshots between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. Friday morning, authorities said.

A family member found the bodies. The mother was found on the living room floor; the brother was found in a bedroom. The crime didn’t appear to be a robbery, police said, and the door to the home was not locked when the family member arrived.

After the two bodies were found, missing from the crime scene was Donerson’s grandson, 7-year-old Julian, who was possibly taken from the house in the Englewood neighborhood, Chicago police said. He was in a white 1994 Chevrolet Suburban SUV with Illinois license plate X584859, police said.

    Wentworth Area detectives are investigating.

Wow, that's so sad; I don't normally support capital punishment, but this sicko needs to be removed from this planet. And over a car???

  10. HEFNER'S CRUMBLING HAREM

JUST as Page Six predicted a month ago, Hugh Hefner's sham-like world is falling apart. His youngest "girlfriend," Kendra Wilkinson, has been hooking up with Philadelphia Eagle Hank Baskett. Now, it seems his "No. 1" gal pal is looking for an out, too. Tongues wagged when Holly Madison was pictured with notorious ladies' man Criss Angel, and now she tells Us magazine her relationship with Hef will end. "I want to be with somebody who I can be married to, and have kids," she says, noting that Hefner, 82 - who is still legally married to Kimberley Conrad, 45, mother of two of his four children - nixed nuptials. In fact, he told Us, "That's not much in the cards for me." As for Madison's fling with Angel, Hefner smirked, "One hopes . . . that when she starts dating, she'll have better taste." Only Bridget Marquardt, who is married to a man in Ohio, has stayed loyal while developing a show for the Travel Channel.

Bridget's married??? I watch that show all the time, how did I miss that tidbit?

  11. This is a face without Botox (and looks kind of like what Angelina will look in 15 years, without the aid of plastic surgery...)

    Linda Hamilton

While I applaud her for not going the plastic surgery route, there is nothing wrong with using a little anti-wrinkle serum, moisturizer and SPF- she looks 75!

  12. "Contractions started kicking in. I sat there with her, right between her legs. We got tribal on it, we danced to it! I was DJ-ing this Brazilian music."

The last place I would want my husband to be is between my legs, playing tribal music no less. I guess everyone's version of a peaceful birth is different. Wonder what the Scientologists would say about this...

  13.

I guess the consensus is that this is a showmance designed to promote something? I'm not disagreeing at all, I was just wondering how much Kate gets paid. Is it per date, or is she on retainer. I'm not calling her a hooker, more like that movie where a nerdy kid pays the most popular girl in school for a couple of dates so he can be popular as well (I forget the name of the movie). This happens so much to certain celebs, that I realized they must be getting paid to do this.

Nice work if you can get it.

I think you are referring to "Can't Buy Me Love," which starred the one and only Dr. McDreamy (Patrick Dempsey, pre-nosejob). Love that movie, love a lot of 80's movies!

Funny you mention it; that movie was just on a week or so ago and I hadn't seen it in awhile (well before Grey's.) When I saw Patrick my first thought was "Holy Nose Job Batman!"

  14. Kirstie Alley’s diet woes

    The Scoop

Kirstie Alley’s plans to market her weight loss part deux are well underway.

The “Fat Actress” star has gained back nearly half the weight which she lost on her Jenny Craig diet (that’s the same weight loss that landed her on “Oprah” in a bathing suit) and will share her new slimming secrets in 2009, reports In Touch.

“I’m developing (the diet plan),” Alley told the magazine. “I want to create something new that will help millions of people end the never-ending fatty roller-coaster ride.”

She lost 75 pounds in 2006 and put 30 back on in just five months. A source for the magazine said Kirstie gained the weight by eating regularly at Pinkberry frozen-dessert restaurants and a Chinese restaurant. “I’ve been a kid in a candy store,” Alley said.

Uhhh, here's a diet plan for you- stop eating at Pinkberry frozen dessert restaurants and eating Chinese food. No need for an entire book for that.

  15. . Ashlee Simpson, Bittersweet World, 47,000. This is Simpson's third straight album to debut in the top five, though this opening sales tally represents a sharp drop-off from her previous two releases. Autobiography opened at #1 in 2004 with sales of 398,000 (a tally more than eight times her current figure). I Am Me bowed at #1 the following year with sales of 220,000. The market has tapered off since those days, but so too has Simpson's career momentum. "Little Miss Obsessive" debuts at #51 on Hot Digital Songs. "Boys" bows at #107.

  16. I know I defend her a lot - and I will continue to ( I also defended Lindsay a lot and look where it got me ;) ) but the article does not go with the pictures. Honestly it could have been written for Tiger Beat.

I agree with Donnie Deutch that this is one big publicity spin on their part. However, if Annie Liebovitz, probably the most recognizable name in photography asked you to do pose a certain way, I would think "well she knows what she is doing".

I really don't like the picture of her in the sheet. Basically because it looks as if she has just had sex - complete with the missing clothes, marred lipstick and tousled hair. And she look 12......UGH! Artistic yes, if Annie was going for the Lolita look. (which she probably was - and succeeded!)

But the other two don't bother me as much. The one with her Dad, although slightly disturbing, probably didn't feel that way on the shoot. And the last one - looks like a teenager.... doing teenagery things.

Here is a link to the article: Vanity Fair - Miley Cyrus Article

I don't like that picture of her in the sheet either, but mainly b/c her coloring is off and I think she looks like a sexed up version of Linda Blair in The Excorcist

  17. I've visited that site, it's pretty fun :)

"Vince Vaughn is never serious and he is as prejudice as they come."

I was just reading through this site (which is very interesting by the way) and came across this quote. I wonder if he is the answer to the blind item about the prejudice celebrity.
