  1. They seem to overlook a lot of things out there in the land of the fruits and nuts. They pay a fine and get on with their merry lives. Lets hope this time they do the right thing legally.

They sure do.. Hopefully Barbara Walters does not come calling and his practiced sad face does not bail him out. AND I hope she does not stick around.

  2. aren't they both just 19 or 20 ?? Thats young !

I am a guidance counselor in a highschool and you would be shocked at the number of young girls that are abused by their boyfriends. Girls that do not fit any profile. It has nothing to do with race. I work in an affulent city/town, where the homes are worth millions, parents provide a comfortable lifestyle, there is even a few celebrities in town (not big names) and guess what it happens. It is a very sad situation. I think that abuse is sad period but when you see it in such young people you are just dumbstruck.

  3. Great performance!! Congrats to Rourke! And for someone who said he wasn't good at public speaking (when he was at the podium accepting the Golden Globe), he was surprisingly eloquent.

I almost gagged when he won. Talk about not fucking worthy. There was the competition looking all put together and then their was him all sluring and tripping. It looked like he needed a fucking bath.

Clearly, you didn't see "The Wrestler." He's extraordinary in it. The award is well deserved.

Then he should have bathed... Sorry. Someone honors you with a nominee and this is your 2nd chance at hollywood then act like you appreciate it.

  4. `Slumdog Millionaire' wins top honor at Globes

    By DAVID GERMAIN, AP

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. – "Slumdog Millionaire" has lived up to its underdog theme at the Golden Globes, sweeping all four of its categories, including best drama and director for Danny Boyle.

Kate Winslet has won two Globes all on her own, best dramatic actress for "Revolutionary Road" and supporting actress for "The Reader." "The Wrestler" also has two, dramatic actor for Mickey Rourke and best song for Bruce Springsteen.

"Slumdog Millionaire" also won best screenplay and musical score, firming up its prospects for the Academy Awards.

Featuring a generally unknown cast in a story set on the streets of Mumbai, "Slumdog Millionaire" knocked off four other nominated films featuring such stars as Brad Pitt, Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio.

How gracious is this woman? My God after every award each speech was so perfect. She was truly worthy of winning.

  6. After seeing this holiday??? greeting from Hef I just had to shake my head. How utterly crass and tacky. You would think someone would have come up with a classier picture. I am embarrassed for Hef.

What i don't get is why have sex with twins - I mean they look alike so why bother! AND seriously what the eff is wrong with those girls? I think that making out with a girl for the sole purpose of the guy getting his rocks off is so beneth being a woman but to make out with your own sister - SHUDDERS!

  7. I can't read all of this because I am new to twilight (what can I say I am a late bloomer) and I don't want any spoilers. I am waiting for the library to call me about book two. Anyhoo.. Have any of you been following all the buzz with the movie. NOW I am wondering something. I get that the book is about vampires and therefore "dark" but why are all the characters dressing rather goth and dark for the press junkets... Is this how they normally are or is someone telling them, dress dark and look wasted. Some of them look like they stepped out of Hot Topic...

the best example that comes to mind is colin farrel - when he does press, he is always in jeans, boots and botton down top or t-shirt... Never any suits or fancy attire - that is just him.

Are these actors just like that or what.. I tell you that is the one thing that is keeping me from getting excited about the movie.

    Thanks

  8. I really like this girl.. like if she is in it - I am bound to watch it ..

BUT I don't understand her new role - Rachel Getting Married - it is based on a girl that goes to her sisters wedding but leading up to it she has to check into rehab....

Wasn't this done - I beleive Sandra Bullock was in it?

  9. We have all these crazy celebs that lather on the fake tan to the point where they look oragne for the sake of looking golden or even healthy.. Along comes someone that is golden if you will and they make her white.. AS IF Loreal did not have enough white models...

  10.

Oprah pisses me off sometimes. I'm a vegan (partially by choice, mostly because of food allergies), alcohol-free (allergic) and gluten-free (because I have celiac disease and would be dead right now otherwise) and I can tell you that there is still plenty of "good stuff" for me to eat.

    <_<

To be fair, the "good stuff" wasn't a direct Oprah quote or from her blog--it happens to be the word choice of the Daily News staff writer describing the diet.

I do just love that Oprah is like so many normal women--makes me feel better that if Oprah, with her billions, STILL struggles with her weight, I don't feel so bad about my own struggles. This is probably the only thing I will admit to liking about Oprah

    TRUE VERY VERY TRUE...

The other thing that I like about her is that when she does not know something she states it, she is not one of these people that will run her mouth when she has no idea what the heck she is talking about. I watch her show (thanks to my pregnant friend for hooking me in) and topics come up and if she is not too in the know she shrugs and says I never heard of that before...

    LOVE THAT

I would love for ONE of the host (JUST ONE) to say HMM I don't know every once in a while instead of just running thier mouth for the sake of talking:)

    K

  11. Freckles.. I totally expect that from celebs but from real people that is odd. I had a daughter with my best friend ten years ago. Since then I have gotten remarried and would NEVER think to bring her dad along.

BUT hey to each their own.

  12. Can anyone please explain to the ONE human being that is clueless - WHY Shannen Doherty is SUCH a biatch and why is she so hated and why no one wants to work with her. I don't get it. I never followed her so I have no clue..

    Anyone

    Thanks

  13. O Hoya WE have so much in common. I "met" him on day in NYC. I was going into Zabars and he was coming out - did NOT hold the door for me, where like it closed in my face. YET I still wanted to make out with him:( IF my husband ever did that he would get HELL but yet I wanted to make out with John AFTER he didnt' hold my door - and didn't even say sorry..

I don't care if I am a New Yorker, that was still rude... yet I would still make out with him...

  14. Well I became interested in it when I saw the commerical to the movie. I figured out by the commerical what the "thing" is. That is what made me go "hmmm I wonder how he (the author) will make this work". SO I picked it up just to see how he will make "this" scary, but let me tell you I am 100 pages in and scared as hell.

HOWEVER on a side note - the jungle, the woods, camping, etc naturally scares me. SO you can make a horror movie about a scary racoon in the woods and I am dying:)

Also it is a fast read. I am 100 pages in and so far the "thing" has not even started to "attack" but so far a lot has alreayd happend and it has nothing to do with the "thing".
