    Daniel Craig

I wouldn't say he's unattractive facially by any means (and he has a great body) but I like the fact he's so different from the other slicker Bonds. It means that Bond can be reinvented and anybody can have a crack at playing the character and be successful. I like him as Bond. The blonde hair is a real change and Craig keeps the concept diverse and more interesting.

    Cool. She rocks.

Good on her. You shouldn't be forced to do nude scenes just to spice up a film for the sake of it. If nudity is there it should be within the context of the film and only if agreed. I think a lot of actresses feel pressurised into doing it because they're made to feel prudish and frigid if they don't. So they go along with it and try and be artistic about it all and then still feel awful after. Because they've been forced to do something they really weren't all that keen on doing in the first place. I also think women's bodies have become so sexualised in modern Western culture that it's almost overriding against anything else. If men don't have to take their clothes off during a film why should women have to just to suit studios? I'm not being militant about it, the body is a beautiful thing and anybody that wants to, fine. But I do think there is pressure on women especially to suit a perceived male audience. I still think the hardest thing about the situation is on the very basic human level that people forget - that your parents at some stage will be watching, and your Uncle Adam and your teenage cousins. Honestly, would you want them to know how you'd look having sex? Truly? It's kind of embarrassing and uncomfortable, esp. if you have a big family. I think that'd squick a lot of people out.

    Celebrity Acts of Dumbness

If she'd have told him down the phone a mandarin orange had just appeared from her ear and was attempting to talk to her in Gaelic she'd have had his attention for three hours never mind one.

    Jamie Foxx

If he's a giant asshole (the Vick comments, stupid, stupid) then so be it but it has to be said he's one of the snappiest dressers around. Love the little glittery touches too even if they are clip-ons! Lol, whassup with that! Equality and all, men should be able to wear clip-ons if women can. :S

You're not meant to, or maybe someone actually wanted people to. Either way, it's not a 'full' picture is it.

    Fashion Industry News

Interesting question. While the fashion industry has a lot to do with women's fixation with being thin, they aren't solely to blame. I can see why they'd want their living mannequins to look like toothpicks - the clothes hang better and become something that anyone could envision. Or something like that. BUT, this "ideal" image is perpetuated by the television and film industry, along with the print media. It's one thing to have stick thin models for fashion shows. It's quite another to trumpet that form as the ideal for everyone else. I truly feel that if magazines, films and television would use real-sized people, then we'd see the fashion industry as an artsy showcase and not a measure of what we think we should be. Well said. Word with a cherry on top. And it's not just a girl's problem either (although it would appear to be mostly). There are some rail thin boys in the European haute couture campaigns. The clothes are just as skinny fit and although some are naturally thin (because they are at the teenage stage where they often are before they perhaps bulk up in their twenties) it's still quite shocking to see boys with bony necks and collarbones poking out and minute waists. The dilemma raises its head every once in awhile in a ruffled feathers way in the UK press but then sinks back below the waves once the Spring/Summer runway campaigns end because the models wear less revealing clothes for the Fall/Winter shows and the ripples of concern seem to die away. There was a poll in one of the UK tabs recently that said 'should runway models have to provide a doctor's certificate before they do shows?'. Well over 80% voted yes. Maybe it's not such a bad idea.

    Usher

Me too and I don't care about these people at all. Still, there is something so twisted about this entire deal.... I'd just love to know the details. I'd just love to pull his ears. It's all I think about when I see pictures of him, pulling his ears and making raspberry noises! He's just got one of those inviting baby faces that demands having his ears pulled!

    Pink

Hmm, I'm not a major fan but I've always liked Pink's attitude and style. Maybe she wanted to give marriage a go but found it wasn't for her. I am always hesitant to believe someone is on the verge of splitting just because they weren't wearing their ring or their Special Chain or some other visual drivel concocted by US Weekly and Life & Shite, etc. But, it's also pretty much the kiss of death these days when your rep says 'everything's fine' - a lot of the time when that is actually said (instead of 'no comment') people do end up splitting. So, I guess we'll see.

    Halle Berry

Aww, no way, this is so nasty. How does a crank manage to get to the stage where they are threatening violence on someone they don't even know? And oh wow, it's hardly the world's first mixed-race baby and regardless, it should be celebrated whatever its race. A new baby is a wonderful thing. It's just sad and appalling that people can be so rotten at what should be a happy time for her.

    Owen Wilson

Word. I think Owen is a good guy who is very human and has his issues like most of us. Sadly, drugs are often a feature of many a good person's life that they just get caught up in. I have always enjoyed his movies, found him likeable, affable and quite grounded. Maybe he did lose his heart to this Kate Hudson but so what, it happens. Maybe it's all a story to cover the real issues. There seems to be some rumours coming out now (and a blind item) that suggest he might be bisexual (or during his younger years, maybe not so much now), also hinted by Ted a week or two ago - though the actual chump on his back sounds to be depression (maybe manic/hereditary) coupled with Hollywood pressure/expectation and perhaps getting older, or a combination of lots of issues. He may see people happy and settled but can't do it himself for one reason or other. Maybe he has driven this woman away. We'll likely never know for sure. If he talks later on he'll probably be coached into what to say very carefully. But he seems quite a sensitive person and maybe not very strong, but still likeable. I think people want to see him get better. I liked your story. I could see him doing something like that easily, he does seem a sweet guy. He has that look about his face where you can see a twinkle that you know is genuine.

    Matthew McConaughey

I wonder... This sounds so close in detail to that blind item about the male actor and (I think) male model (?) he took back to a room in NYC, had their fun and when the guy tried to be affectionate with McBongo he screamed at him and was really weird about it. I guess the moral is, don't get involved with him if you're after some lovin'. Cause you ain't gonna get! If true, what a douche. Everyone should just refuse to put out for him.

    Sienna Miller

I could actually believe her that she's not quite the sleeparound she's made out to be in the press absolutely all the time and that they may exaggerate that once too many times. But I do think she loves to party.

    David Schwimmer

I mean, his opinions are his own and fine, if that's how he feels, but isn't the point that most foods you eat put 20 lbs on you (hence that's why they have calorie counts on them) and you kind of, umm, have to exercise most foods off? We do have a lot of fried food but there is an enormous selection of food in the UK, my god you can't move for sushi bars, Indian and Thai restaurants, Italian, Chinese and everything in between, many of these places combining these dishes with some British item or influence (fusion of one kind or other). The selection is vast. You don't have to stick to Battie's Pie Shop, David! Like a lot of soundbytes he may have been tongue-in-cheek and it's quoted as sounding nastier than it actually is.

    Owen Wilson

Why do "their people" find it so difficult to be honest - ever? It's such a head-scratcher for me, that one. I mean I really feel for the guy, I do. But reading what his PR has just come out with it's like, what's next? Just be honest you know, admit he's having a fucking hard time, we don't mind. But oh no, he didn't commit suicide or slash his wrists (that'll be the next press release) or take pills and the police are idiots and he actually fell over when he was mowed down by a mob of squirrels brandishing pop guns and band aids, and that's why it was first reported he had bandages on his wrists because THEY MADE HIM DO IT!!!. You can see them backpeddling already. By the next press release I'm fully expecting Owen was just taken into hospital with "exhaustion". Jeesus wept. We can cope with the truth, really.

    Owen Wilson

I don't know anything about that guy's blog or whether he's full of shit or not, but this line really pissed me off. It's not only not TOTALLY Kate's fault, it's not even a little bit her fault. I don't care if she was a complete bitch to him, sucked face with that Dax guy right in front of Owen, or what. No one is responsible for someone else's suicide attempt, period. The suicide attempt is 100% Owen's fault. He is the only one responsible for it. Exactly. It's your own choice. Nobody else should be put on the spot, no matter what they do. We don't even really know what his reasons were but it is certainly not her fault but I think people just say these things without thinking. She shouldn't be made to feel even the tiniest bit responsible, another guy would not have cared - or been crushed but not dreamed of taking his life. It comes down to who YOU are not someone else or their decisions.

I love Wet For Went, she's an absolute sweetheart who is the model of what a great fan should be. She's just totally cool with whatever he wants to be and she runs a great site. She should be on this board and share the Wentworth love.

    Matt Damon and Wife

me as well.. really great flick. I just love Matt in general. seems like a decent guy... oh please don't let anyone on this board ruin that for me.. please... I think you can breathe easily. Even Datalounge don't think he's gay. Not decent = gay? On another note, there is a blind item that has been rumoured to be about him and it does involve cheating and very serious cheating, to the extent of pitter patter but as with all those guesses they could be guessing totally way off with the actual person. I say just enjoy the man as an actor and don't worry about the gossip if it upsets you. You'll always hear gossip about any celebrity, it's inevitable. You need a thick skin to visit any gossip board or be involved with celebrity gossip though. It doesn't mean it's true but it might get talked about. As long as they entertain on film then the rest is all speculation anyway.

    Sienna Miller

LOL Hey! Don't knock those hippos - they were very light on their feet. I don't know where the fashion icon appellation came from - other than the British press just decided to christen her one. All I could ever see was a cheap imitation of Kate Moss' style. That "bohemian chic" look or whatever they called it. And seriously, if you're the low-rent version of junkie-queen Kate Moss, is it really worth it? Sometimes they are just given a tag by the press and they have no say over it. I'm not sure she set out from her house every day thinking "Do I look Boho chic enough?". She just gets dressed as she likes and the papers sort of hone in on the look. When you think about it they actually invent a lot and the celebrities have little say over that. Weird how it works sometimes. I'm not even convinced she's slutting around with half the people she's supposed to be (although she's probably no saint, fair enough) but more that someone wants her to look that way. They can get away with pushing the boat out nowadays with what they write, especially if the celebrities don't retaliate. Many of them won't because it's free publicity and they can live through it.

So...can someone explain the concept of 'secretly dating' if Cosmopolitan knows all about it.
