I agree, but then I think the entire Ashlee/Pete relationship is a big publicity wank. Don't buy it for a moment, never did.

 

That's interesting. I don't totally buy it either. I mean they look good together, but there's just something so publicity-hungry about the whole Simpsons thing it makes you wonder if it's just convinient for both parties right now.

Jay Leno apologized Tuesday for on-air remarks he made during a chat with Ryan Phillippe that were then criticized by gay activists and others.

 

"In talking about Ryan's first role, I realize that what I said came out wrong," the host of NBC's Tonight Show said in a statement to PEOPLE. "I certainly didn't mean any malice. I agree it was a dumb thing to say, and I apologize."

Good. It was a stupid thing to do/say and he did need to apologize for it. How would he like it if someone came on the show and openly challenged him to give the camera his best S&M look?

 

That being said, on the few occasions I've had to deal with him - he's been incredibly professional and actually very nice.

 

I know sometimes elements of the gay community can be their own worst enemy and humour should never die (there's nothing wrong with spoof, gentle teasing and sending things up in a way everyone can laugh), but there's also overstepping the line.

There are lots of folks out there on TV and in politics with an enormous sense of entitlement that rides roughshod over anyone that doesn't fit their straight, WASP ideals. I've found in America it mostly boils down to your politics - what angle you take according to those politics. In the UK it boils down to whether you're born stupid or not.

Uh okay.

And I might have known Jennifer Aniston would make a 'love interest' appearance at some point.

I dunno, I don't think it's necessarily about making women get abortions else she'd have gunned for him over that at the time. I read it just as a statement that he's had so many women it's a miracle none of them got pregnant by him. But like any gossip columnist, you have to question how much is fact-driven and how much is just hearsay.

Oh lol, come on, it was bound to happen. PR responds to internet gossip. It was always steamrolling to this conclusion. Make him go on the radio and laugh at the rumours. It's been done to death and to be expected.

I like Reese as he's very likeable when he's on talk shows and I have no doubt he's a great dad. I've just never cared for his acting.

I think Reese would be just happy to know one person liked him right now.

There is nothing gay about the picture. If you were seeing this pic for the first time without all of the backstory gossip, this is nothing more than two friends posing together. This picture does not confirm anything

 

Pretty spot on really, (their actual sexualities aside, because both may be straight or gay, whatevs, I'm not bothered) if nobody knew who these people were it'd just be two nice-looking guys sitting together at a do. However, on the table further down the hall nobody would stop to think the two girls sitting together as friends, dressed up for a night out and looking cute and glam were actually longterm lovers that nobody even thought to question. They'd assume they were just out trying to attract men.

Hmm, I mean, okay, but why does what this man is saying sound like EVERY sexual romp reporter in the tabloid. The wording is just OTT, 'romp', four-times-a-night', 'insatiable', 'record' (pfft!) - it's the same old same old UK tabloid faux shock and intrigue. I would be surprised if he's even talked to these people. If he has they've put their own spin on it.

Whatere, I'm not 'poor Paul' ing over it. I think both these people are probably fairly unpleasant and give as good as they get to each other, and I feel sorry for their child involved with all this crap.

But, it's the second time JJ has brought this particular actor up as regards sexuality and while the pictures prove nothing (and really, it's sad A. people have to closet if true, as ever B. people should even care) but I think he's trying to 'back up' his statements and maybe pics like this do or don't prove something. I dunno. Nothing really fazes me at all about Hollywood. Anybody could be anything or totally unlike what they are trying to be on camera and it'd come as no real shock. And after a dose of the Cruiser yesterday, heck, I'd rather be in Chace's shoes, with or without JJ harassing/chasing/serenading me.

I always find it amusing that publicists and such set up their clients/friends with other leading ladies/men of Hollywood to cover his/her sexuality.

 

 

For instance, Gossip Girl Chace Crawford. Is it any real secret that the guy is 100% bisexual. Just as bisexual as HSM's Zac Efron???

 

 

Crawford may be played out on the media as if he is all cozy with Carrie Underwood, but I have spoke to a few people very near and dear to Chace that have confirmed to me he has indeed been with men "sexually" before.

Yeah, very sad if true but I'm going to hold back a bit and see what happens. Stories have been run before that have had to be retracted so I'm just 'watch this space' at the moment. Or, 'watch the sky', whichever.

He looks better, imo, with short hair. More human, shows his face better because he has good bone structure.

Well it's her image isn't it. She's always been portrayed as a nice girl. Nothing wrong with that, but maybe she's sick of being labelled whiter than white sort of thing all the time.

I'm looking at the word "reportedly" in that article. Which means it's questionable this has been said/done.

What would make sense is that if the allegation of that affair he'd had was true then they may already have split up and this is just a cover story so that they can publicly start to go their separate ways and that they are aready basically living apart but don't want to draw attention to the fact.

I like him, but for all his bluster and jazz throughout a whole series of Fresh Prince of Bel-Air he was still easily eclipsed by Carlton and Geoffrey's 'make me a sandwich' skit.

Agreed. And they've lasted for forever, apparently without marrying. They are a great example (so far) and hopefully for a long time to come.

There's any number of reasons people beard. Sometimes it's financial, sometimes to promote product, and straight folks beard too. I don't know about the sexualities of either of these people, there have been rumous. But as to your question, supposing Lily had a private life (quite apart from Dom) she wanted to keep away from the public eye? The whole thing might not be about Dom, it might be about Lily. Don't assume everything's about the man. As it was, if their relationship was real or fake, it still got a lot of attention for Lost and drummed up some personal interest for fans and non-fans alike outside of the show, and served to get/keep their names out there as well.

I think he should get some love. He's sexy in other ways than just conventionally handsome, and don't we often moan that average looking guys and girls get totally overlooked? I think he's got a sexy way about him. So yeah, good choice.

The only funny part was reading Michael K's item, and I'm warming to Michael K a bit more these days, especially when he uses words I can recognise, like 'slag'.
