    Johnny Depp

The thing I like about Depp is he seems to save his craziness for his roles. He's not strutting Vanessa and kids out for publicity, and he keeps his private life private, proving it CAN be done if you want to do it.

    Gisele Bundchen

Gisele's been around for long enough now that I don't think this was an "English foible." (JMO -- your mileage may vary.) It sounds very Gwyneth-fied to me: "I give him permission to have a good relationship with his mother." (My interpretation of her comment.) How positively magnanimous of her!

    Rihanna

I am curious to hear others chime in on this new development. My first comment is "yikes". I'm not anti-ink, but ick. Wonder how long it'll be before we move her to the "Celebrity Trainwrecks and Meltdowns" thread? Too bad.

    Miley Cyrus

I'd say it's coming soon. My 10-year-old daughter has been sick of her for two years now. That demographic seems to be saying goodbye to "Hannah Montana" and hello to "iCarly." I've also noticed that all the Hannah merchandise on the shelves in my neck of the woods is severely marked down. (I know the economy's bad, but let's just say there's a disproportionate amount of Hannah t-shirts on the 75-90% off racks.)

    Robert Pattinson

    Me, too!

Megan Fox & Brian Austin Green

Because the majority of them are barking moon bat crazy. (Seriously, I'm not famous and I'd never get a tattoo of someone's name. It feels like tempting fate.) Off-topic, but I saw a girl in Target the other day who bore a striking resemblance to Megan Fox. What was sad was the way she over-emphasized the resemblance. Her eyebrows scared me.

    Courteney Cox & David Arquette

I agree. I don't know if it's the camera angle or what, but her face looks quite different.

    Jerry O'Connell & Rebecca Romijn

I imagine they waited a week because the babies were born amid the holiday season and no one would have paid attention then.

    Ashlee Simpson

    Did Rafiki the Baboon officiate?

Bronx Mowgli? Rudyard Kipling must be rolling in his grave.

    Jennifer Hudson

Mine's nine ... not much older. It makes me sick, too, annabeast. That poor child ... and his poor mother. I wish I could hug her.

    Jennifer Hudson

How horrible. What kind of sick individual murders a child? My deepest sympathies to the family.

    Halle Berry

She certainly is! Her eyes and mouth are stunning. Even though I dislike Brangelina I'll concede that Shiloh's a pretty little thing, but I think Nahla has her beat!

    Jerry O'Connell & Rebecca Romijn

She's been pregnant for about 2 weeks. Isn't it kind of early for cravings? Not necessarily. With all our kids I knew I was pregnant within days because I would get a huge craving for salt and Mexican food. And I don't mean like "I want Mexican food for dinner"...I mean like a heroin addict needing a fix! I still tease them about what they put me through, lol. Ha, I craved Mexican with my daughter, too -- specifically beef/black bean burritos. With my son it was orange sherbet and actual oranges. And in his case, I had the cravings before I knew I was pregnant ... so I could see it.

    Morgan Freeman

Morgan Freeman is a national treasure. I truly hope he'll be OK.

    Twilight Series

I think I'd find them interesting if it weren't for Bella, who I'd like to smack -- hard. I enjoy reading the opinions of those who enjoy the series, however.

    Brooke Shields

Great minds, Babloo. I was just getting ready to post the same thing. (Not that I wish PPD on Katie--she has enough problems with having to contend with the GMD.)

    Sheryl Crow

Yeah, I had the scare about four years ago myself, when an exam turned up something questionable and the doc packed me off to the mammographer faster than lightning. (It was only a cyst, thank God.) I also have a friend (age 42) who recently underwent a double mastectomy and radiation after being diagnosed. (Her mother died of the disease at that same age.)*lights candle for Sheryl and for all of the other women out there who are suffering and dying*

    Pink

I wasn't implying that it's OK to teach your kids to make fun of others--I am just glad that someone out there is speaking out on turning yourself into a plastic, air-headed bimbo just to get attention. No, my kids know that the offense guaranteed to get them grounded is to make fun of other people. But, you have to admit that Jess, Brit and Paris ask for it with their antics...and it's getting their names in the paper a few more times, so I daresay they don't mind too much.

    Pink

Oh, me too. I Pink. She is the Katharine Hepburn of the music industry. She puts her true opinions right out there...and she's generally right. (The quote that started this whole thread--which I think was also posted by Bobby D--was dead-on, IMO.) As the mother of a young daughter I am thrilled to see Pink out there making fun of all of these vapid idiots like Brit, Paris and Jess. And furthermore--she has a better singing voice than any of them. (I know Paris is recording an album, but have any of us ever heard her sing? She's been recording that thing for a long time--guess the sound engineers are putting in lots of OT to make it sound as if she can actually sing.)

    Sheryl Crow

Well, as someone about to turn 40 I give Sheryl props for looking pretty damn good for her age...and for not having plastic surgery. I'm not in love with her as a performer, but I don't hate her or anything. And even though I share a last name with Lance I agree with BobbyD that he seems to be his own greatest love.If memory serves me correctly, Lance's first wife initiated their divorce and there was no third party involved, which points, again, to BobbyD's assessment of Lance being in love with Lance.I never got them as a couple and am not surprised they split.

    Scarlett Johansson

I can see two sides to this coin. Yes, Scarlett dresses older, but so did Lauren Bacall--who was a mere 19 years old when she starred opposite Bogie in To Have and Have Not and The Big Sleep. And as a curvy woman myself, I can attest that a lot of those "younger" styles don't translate well on curves--a more tailored look is more flattering.I do agree that she needs to tone down her makeup, though. She's lovely--she doesn't need all that enhancement.

    Hilary Duff

I think she looks like she's on something--look at her eyes! She was so much prettier with a little extra weight on her.
