I have a 14-year-old daughter who has a LOUSY Dad. BUT, no matter what he doesn't do, she is still made up of part of him and I love her to pieces, so I have NEVER said a word about her Dad in front of her. NEVER. She can, but I won't. I (and 5 million others) got a really cool email from "Matt Damon" via the ONE campaign talking about AIDS in Africa. I've never heard about him publicizing this other than this email. It was a really strongly worded email about how much help these people needed and what we all needed to do -- stop the U.S. Congress from cutting aid to Africa. I must have been living in a time warp, but I never heard about Teri's nipples. Did she REALLY say that she liked them? I couldn't agree more that stereotypes are bad. I have gay friends that are more hetero acting than I am. I also have some that are more than a little feminine. I have NO prejudice against gays. I just believe this guy is gay.

Couldn't agree more with with you Babloo & Hey Babes. I cannot stand to see this awful ideal of womanhood that is being glamorized these days. Emaciated, almost skeletal, an unhealthy way to look and live, and so completely unrealistic for normal teenage and young adult girls. Scarlett gives me hope. I think she has a little of an odd face. Some angles, she's a knockout, sometimes, especially in my opinion with no makeup and the nose ring, she looks downright plain. The thing she has is sexy curves. She looks like what a woman SHOULD looks like..with a little bigger boobs. I think they're even real which makes it even better.Put a photo of Nicole Richie, or even skanky Paris next to Scarlett and they look like 10-year-old boys. Let's bring curves back to women in the public eye.I would think that men would like curvy women a LOT more than skeletal ones. How about it, guys?

My State, Minnesota has some horrifying self-righteous ass state senator named Michele Bachmann trying to change the state's constitution to "prevent THOSE people" from getting married. The jackass Governor is ALL FOR IT, because like Bachmann, he is an Evangelical Christian and thinks gays are some kind of horrible sinners. If more people can only see gays for what they are, normal people born with a different sexual tilt, we would overcome a huge hurdle in this country. I'm all for a show that allows Rosie to show that she is a normal woman, who has issues with raising four kids, like any other Mother would.I hate prejudice of any kind.

Somewere, when this got announced, there was a link to Rosie's website, Rosie where she answers questions from people. I started reading her replies, and then a few of her blogs and started to like her more and more every line. I've always liked her frankness, but I think she's great now. I am SO TIRED of people not allowing gays a fair shake in this country, and to have an openly gay woman on a "woman's show" is a GREAT leap forward. My state (Minnesota), citing BIBLICAL passages that homosexuality is a "sin against GOD, is trying to attached a "no gay marriage" initiative to the State Constitution. Talking about taking a huge leap BACKWARD. I cannot wait for Rosie to tell Star to meet her outside and for her to knock her sorry saggy ass to the ground. I cannot wait for Rosie to tell Star that her husband is "one of us" and to see the bug-eyed look that Star gives Rosie...WAIT, you mean that is the reason we have never had any kind of normal sex?
