I think "acceptance" of Lainey has also largely coincided with Ted's pandering to the Twihards/leaving E! I personally tend to view Lainey as the best of some very slim pickings, but other opinions may and probably do vary.

I've heard the same rumblings about Robin Thicke and Paula Patton regarding drugs and an open marriage on many of my routine "smut stops" so none of this really comes as a surprise. The rumors and innuendos are only going to get louder now that Robin is the proverbial "Flavor of the Month." I would never put up with it personally, but at the same time, I'm not going to burn my bra as a show of support for Paula when history suggests that this is likely accepted behavior among consenting adults.

I'm just not seeing PR stunt potential with Sandra Bullock. She adopted her son Louis totally on the QT - during Oscar week. She's clearly not out for headlines, IMO.

I do recall that BV, but IIRC Miley Cyrus was a common guess for that one as well as Amanda. That was actually my thought too.

I thought Amanda looked rather washed out in that dress -- pale color, pale skin, pale hair. Anne probably would have looked better in it with her darker hair to serve as a contrast. However, that said.....I also thought Anne's publicist released statement about the whole kerfuffle was rather gauche. Sometimes the best thing to say is nothing at all.

That's exactly why I couldn't vote for them, or Ben Affleck/Jennifer Garner, or Gwen Stefani/Gavin Rossdale. They probably SHOULD split, but I doubt they ever will. I went with Nicole Kidman/Keith Urban because I think they are the most likely to actually go through with a split.
